Under the Leadership of Jedi master Christopher Crane, a Jedi Academy has been assembled on Ossus. The Large structure is filled with many Lightsaber training rooms, flight simulators to train Jedi Pilots, Work out rooms, a Meditation center, an indoor lake, and an extensive obstacle coarse that can be set to three different levels: Padawan, Knight, and Master. The Obstacle coarse for knights are taken by the top classes, the end of the coarse leaves you at the entrance of the Grand Jedi Library. There your marks on how well you completed the coarse will be given. Upon completing the coarse with passing marks, they will graduate from the Jedi Academy on Ossus, from there they can take their Trials given by Christopher of one of the other Masters. There are also many class rooms where the Jedi masters teach courses in the Living, will, and unifying force. Master Crane is the overseer of many of the classes and also teaches many of the Combat lessons. Any Padawan may enroll just Sign up in the reception hall. From there your training to become a Jedi Knight will begin.

Chris' ship blasted from hyperspace and prepared for landing in the Academy's hanger. From there his ship would join the massing fleet. His skills as a Jedi Pilot may be called on in the future. Though he was a Defensive master, many times he had been pulled from ground forced in order to give air support to Republic forces or lead an air raid.
He gave the final docking commands to his moody R2 and he watched the diagnostics report that the orders were being carried out. He leaned back. He checked his data pad for any messages from the Academy or any of the other Jedi in the Order. He clipped the pad in place finding that he had none and returned his hands to the control yoke. He lifted the yoke and began the decent through the atmosphere.
As he entered the planets air charts he felt wave after wave of Jedi history wash over him. He was home. If Naboo felt as his home planet this was his home. He could feel the ancient power of the Jedi that had come thousands of years before him. There was a great power source of the Jedi on this planet. It was inspiring to him in these dark times. He felt that this is where he was supost to be and at the right time. That was a rare occurrence in such an unstable time.
His ship docked in the port and Chris left his R2 to take care of the ship as it was being cleaned and prepped for the next flight. It was in this time that Chris took his first breath of Ossus air. The planet that was to the Jedi as Korriban was to the Sith and the Dark Jedi. This was the true home of the Jedi though it was too dangerous to populate. If the wrong people heard of this planet's location... there was no doubt in his mind that invasion forces would be waiting in line to take a strike at the Jedi here.
Just another perk of the Job. Here he would be charged with he discovery of ancient Jedi artifacts, distribute them, keep the planet a secret, and train hundreds of Padawans to the rank of Jedi knights. Not a small task but with the Force on his side, nothing was impossible. He entered the Academy and then went to his quarters where he could rest until he first of his students would arrive.

A communication beeped through to Chris' ship as he landed.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Master Chris....I wished to speak to a bit on the academy you are establishing.....
I hope that when I am no longer needed on Naboo...which should not be long...that I may help you in some way. I am in all means a teacher....and though I myself may not be able to teach the students, I do have the means to give you some of the original documents of my people, that helped establish the order in the beginning.....
Not only might this help you, but it would also help my people....the documents are not safe on Rilia, and I fear their destruction....is this to much to ask of you?.....and do not misunderstand me...I do not mean for them to be moved until you are settled in....[/glow]

He responded to the message in his quarters.
[glow=teal,2,300]Master Firians, your tutelage will be greatly appreciated in your spare time. There are a variety of lessons that need teaching along with the Lightsaber combat training. Your assistance in training the Padawans will be greatly appreciated as well as needed.
As for the Rilian text will be more than at home here. As you know this planet, Ossus, is home to the Great Jedi Library. This institution has protected Jedi and Sith teachings and artifacts for eons. Your people's works will be safe here as I am designing an emergency release for many of the important information that are held there. Your texts will be held in up most importance and will be protected by the skill it deserves.
If you have any further questions or needs, feel free to contact me. Also, if you could, give me a comm before you arrive for I would like to have fresh quarters arranged for you before you land.
May the Force be with you...[/glow]
He cut the recording and sent it back down the path he had received the message from. Then he sat back in a chair and closed his eyes to get some rest before his duty called or Talau responded.

She nodded as she listened to the transmission....unfortunately she would not be able to teach often, if at all because she knew she would have to return to Rilia to stay until the war was finnished...whatever that outcome may be.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]I understand Master....I shall do what I can.[/glow]

Cassus left the reception room after checking his bag and making sure it was secure. He didn't want to lose anything, although after he thought about it, what was there to lose? Some clothes was all he had. No posessions from his family or anything. He knew that this wasn't supposed to bother him so he did his best to suppress that emotion but it wasn't that easy.
He wandered the halls of the academy aimlessly, hoping to randomly stumble on the room he was looking for. He knew that wasn't going to be very easy to do however, he didn't know it's size, what it looked like, what it had in it or any information about it. He let his footsteps be guided by the force on a unconscious level, seemingly random but he knew he was getting closer and closer.
He opened a door and found himself in a room which was different, something told him it was a test of sorts. Obstacle coarse clicked in and he leaned against the wall, wondering if this was supposed to be where he was going.

As Centrus's ship made his way into the atmosphere he tried to contact but the transmission wouldn't go through. He tried three more times before he decided to land and go inside to talk the old fassion way, face to face.

The face of a gray hared woman came up on the holo vid to Centrus's ship. In a warm welcoming voice she greeted the Padawan.
"Welcome to Ossus and the Jedi Academy here. I am sure you will be wanting to check into the Jedi Academy as we have no record of your vessel on file. Please Make your way to the Reception hall, there I will filter your transaction and you may begin your stay here on Ossus."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Master Crane stepped out of his quarters and quickly made his way to the obstacle coarse. There he saw his first student. Great pride filled his chest, the boy had preformed well. It was clear that the Temple on Yavin had taught him something.
[glow=teal,2,300]Greetings Cassus, as you probably know I am Jedi Master Christopher Crane. I am the Headmaster of this Academy. It is an honor to finally meet you. Here I will teach you the boundaries of the Force and let you take your first steppes in establishing yourself as a Jedi Knight. You will learn of the Living Force, the Unifying Force, and the Will of the Force. And, as you probably know, I will teach you how to aggressively and defensively teach you to use one of these. [/glow]
He pointed to his lightsaber hilt that hung loosely at his hip. He had not taken one of the Ancient blades that are stashed away on Ossus but he still wield the blade of the Fallen Jedi he received from the temple. Now he waited for the boy to respond to his greetings. Chris pushed into the boy's mind trying to get an understanding on how much the boy knew. he could tell that he would make a fine addition to the Order and he was very deeply connected to the Force.

He listened quietly to Master Crane's entrance, taking especial note to the part about the Lightsaber. He still didn't have one, and had only used training lightsabers. "Thank you master Crane, I will do my best to learn from you and be a good pupil. One day I hope to be a great Knight and bring good to the galaxy," he said smiling. "Um," he began, not quite how to put his words. "When do I get a real lightsaber? Just curious," he said, hoping he didn't sound impatient or youngling like.

He smiled gently. He knew that the boy was ready to take the first step down the path of the Jedi in this temple.
[glow=teal,2,300]"This Academy encourages personal growth in the Force. If you feel it is your time to construct your first lightsaber, then now is the time. Do not let fear of judgment hold you from striving forward. Impatience and confidence in one;s ability are two different things. Though be weary, confidence and over confidence are two separate things. Use the Force as a lamp to lead you down this path for the path of the Jedi is narrow and long surrounded on both sides by darkness. Now in the Great Library you will find everything you need to make your blade. This is your first task: You will have your lightsaber thought out, materials gathered and constructed by mid day tomorrow. I am here if you need help, but rely on the Force to guide your hands. If you need guides there is the Library, but I encourage you to fall into the Force. There is more knowledge in the Force that in any Archive of written facts. All the materials can be found on this planet and even on the Academy's grounds. If you have no further questions... get going.[/glow]
The Headmaster smiled once more. he would enjoy seeing how to bey would react to such a pressure at such notice. By tomorrow he would be required to have made his first lightsaber and have it in dueling order. This would Chris' chance to watch the boy and see how well he could use and channel the Force.

He looked at him with shock and surprise. "Surely master there is more help then that. I have no idea how to construct a lightsaber!" He looked him straight in the eye and realized that he would not be given a direct course to construct the tool of light. He shook his head, still taken aback but in his heart, he knew he could do it. "Very well," he said. "I will have my lightsaber by tomorrow." He smiled at his new master and turned, leaving the room and heading down the hallways, to take a look in the library. The force guided him there afterall. Is it wrong? he thought. He told me the force would guide me, would show me how. But I'm not seeing it he thought in confusion.

At mid-day on the next day, Cassus was sound asleep on a bench in the hallways. In his hand he had grasped a power core he'd found from an old, broken droid which still functioned completely. He'd taken a few hours to test that fact, more time consumed. On the bench above his head, there was a dark brown metal half cylinder, slowly being molded together, a cylinder shape in the middle for where the power core would go. There was more metal laying around. The core shielding wasn't even half finished yet, if someone were to place the power core inside, and tip it upside down, it would fall right now. A blow torch lay on the ground underneath his bench, where he'd dropped it as he fell asleep. Cassus snored, completely exhausted. He hadn't gotten any sleep the night before, he'd stayed up all night to work on his lightsaber, in a futile attempt to have it constructed in one day.

Sabre steped livly into the large hall, her clothes dry and slightly scratchy. All she carried were the clothes on her back and her two lightsabers on her back and clean as can be. Her crimson hair was done differently then the usual "hang around" style. She had divided it and made two, crude, slightly elegant braids. Her black padawan robe hung loose qround her svelte body and her fathomus[even a word?] green eyes brighter then the normal, stealthy, bottle green. The air in here was cool and refreshing, she enjoyed breathing it in. As she took in a deep breath and smiled she looked comical. A short nine year old with two deadly, famed weapons, clad in black and smilely. If that wasn't funny nothing was. Sabre gently rubbed her smooth, black leather boots, making sure they were still... intact? Something like that anyway. She stood there, waiting to be directed by the tall, intimidating man in front of her.

Chris looked down on the girl with his same gentle gaze.
[glow=teal,2,300]"Hello there. You must be new here. My name is Christopher Crane, Master of the Jedi Order. You may call me Master Crane or any combination of the words. I do not care much for formality. But since you are new here, I need you to travel to the Reception hall and fill out the application. Then we can begin training. Good luck my girl, and May the Force be with you.[/glow]
He smiled then looked behind him. He was half expecting to see Cassus there. The boy had a few hours remaining until his lightsaber was due. Silently hew wondered what the boy would be ready for. Already he was a very promising student. Likely the most skilled as of yet. Perhaps he would give a lecture on lightsaber combat. That would likely keep his attention after a long night of work.

Something prodded him inside his mind, his dreamless sleep was interupted by something, but nothing at the same time. Whatever it was it told him silently that it was time to wake up. His eyes slid open, slowly but surely, and took in the light shining at him from the roof. He looked around, unsure of where he was as sleep lifted itself from him. His awareness finally clicked in and he remembered where he was, what he'd been doing. And then the panic suddenly hit him. He could feel that it was already midday, he couldn't see it but he knew. He looked at the fraction of the lightsaber he'd been able to accomplish, but apperently it took a lot longer then he'd thought to make the thing.
He stood up and took the blow torch, working as fast as he could to finish the core shielding. He slid the power core inside and welded the last piece together, forming a complete cylinder with a powerful center. It was ready to connect to the crystals, and then to the wiring and magnet, except he had none of those. All he had was a protected power source, and no lightsaber. The part that went in the bottom of the lightsaber, that's it.
He stood up, his crafted cylinder in his hand. He felt the presence of Master Crane and let himself be led to him. Rounding the corner, he saw him, with a girl. He walked slowly up, then stopped behind him. "I've failed you master," he began. "I tried so hard to finish what you wanted me to, but I couldn't do it." He hung his head and waited for him to turn around, to burn his ashamed and dissapointed gaze into him.

After sending the girl off, Crane looked back seeing that is was Cassus. He looked down at the half creation and gently smiled.
[glow=teal,2,300]"I believe that you have learned your lesson. The purpose of this exercise was to prove that you can not do it, that is nearly impossible. The reason that the Jedi carry lightsabers and not the every day man is because it takes a great deal of concentration and meditation in the Force. The Force is what makes us different from others without the Force connection."[/glow]
He watched Cassus' eyes trying to pick up whether or not he understood. When he decided that the boy was listening and ready for more he continued.
[glow=teal,2,300]"Now, I want you to try again. This time you will have no time limit, but purely because you will not need one. I want you to gather completely new parts for your lightsaber and hand me your old. When you have all the parts you need to complete your hilt lay them on the ground. Then I want you to focus on the parts and focus on the Force. Try to in-vision infusing the Force into the parts. Then when you have opened a channel from the Force through you and into the parts, complete your blade. It will be as easy as that. Any questions?[/glow]
He held his hand out to take the old atempt at the blade.

He nodded in understanding and smiled at him, hope restored and as confident as ever. "I understand master," he said as he put the crude pieces in his hand. "I don't know how long this will take me, but I believe first I'm going to have to get 2 crystals. Should I take a transport and leave the planet?" he asked. He had limited knowledge about the galaxy as well, he'd been told on Yavin IV that Ilum was the planet where the crystals were.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding master. My name is Kaja Keron. I used to be centrus but I changed it for security purposes. Someone is chasing me and they don't know that my real name is Kaja Keron. They only know my Alias, which is centrus. But the name centrus is no more. I'm terribly sorry for the misunderstanding. But thank you for making me feel welcome.

He looked at Kaja,
[glow=teal,2,300]"Fear not, you are safe here and among friends."[/glow]
Then he turned his attention back to Cassus.
[glow=teal,2,300]"Not in this day and Age. The Jedi are on the verge of extinction. And though we know the Regency officials are not looking to kill Jedi, we will never know their true intention until it is too late. You will find everything you will need here. This is a Jedi planet after all. In the Academy you will find pre harvested crystals. We harvest them because we will never know when our sources of crystals will run dry or when we will not be able to reach them. So you may use the harvested ones. Or you may travel to the caves and pick your own. The choice is yours.[/glow]

He nodded and smiled. "I think I'd like to go to the cave and pick my own. It would feel more traditional that way. Thank you master, I will have my lightsaber constructed for you soon." He bowed and turned, heading for the entrance of the temple.
He walked outside, taking a large whif of the fresh air. It was raining very lightly, and the ground was muddy and slippery. He used the force to try and find the caves, letting himself feel the direction he should go. As he probed the area he suddenly got a large surge in the force, a location full of energy. That must be where the cave is, he thought. He picked a direction towards it and headed off into the trees.
An hour later, he was covered in cuts and scratches from the flora and plants that grew here. And an angry cat/squirrelish creature had attacked him, he'd had to use the force to calm it as it chewed on his arm. Thinking of that made him rub that now sore spot, but he still kept going. He could feel it getting stronger, he was almost there.
He suddenly burst from the trees and stopped, there was a small cliff of rock, and at the bottom, the cave. He journeyed cautiously inside, feeling a strong presence of the force. It surged through him, he could feel it's energy, filling him up. It made him feel better then anything else. He kept walking, it was getting darker and harder to see, but up ahead, he could see a glow.
When he rounded the corner, he was in a circular area, with many crystals all around the room. He stood staring at it for a moment, his jaw hanging open. So many crystals in one place. The light from the crystals lit the room, reflecting off the water on the ground, making beautiful wavy color paterns on the roof. He walked over to the wall, the yellow crystals intrigued him the most. He carefully removed 2 yellow crystals, took one last looked around the room and left the cave.
He stood outside, smiling with pride. In his hand he had the two crystals he needed, now he just had to go back through the forest to the temple. He sighed and jumped back into the bush.
