Holt Syren, Arili Annunaki, and Dak Yoley entered into the Palace's large central meeting chambers. Why they could not have met with Master Firians back at the Western Temple, Holt could not be sure of. Perhaps it was that she, being Contess, would have to keep up such an appearance of formality and propriety, perhaps only just to create the illusion that the galaxy still operated as such.
But, then again, Holt was not one for politics. Or words, for that matter. But he was one for action. And the only way to ensure that actions were going to be taken was to use words. It seemed odd to him. He had not had to use words since...
Holt shook his head. The time for painful memories was not now. He stepped forward into the circle that people were already forming. Some people he recognized, some he did not. Though he was certain that, after this meeting, he would know them all, whether he wanted to or not...

Dak looked around sheepishly at the sheer amount of people that looked at his company's entrance. Dak thought the Jedi to be some kind of vigilante cult that had practically gone extinct. Just seeing these people whether they were Jedi or that other faction Dak had come to not enjoy saying. The words just didn't come off the tongue as well as he liked, but that was besides the point.
Dak watched Holt take to the center circle and felt the need to ask more questions, but the feeling of a critical moment kept the young boy's mouth shut. Dak looked on as those people who were looking at them zeroed in on Holt as he was going to proceed with something that Dak didn't know. After all the young boy didn't know anything about the formalities of being a Jedi or Feanturi. All he knew was that he would trust in those who had come to enlighten him to his true purpose in this universe.
As he came out of his train of thought Dak found himself a tad closer to Ms. Annunaki than he usually was. He quickly realized his tendency to be closer to things or people he knew and was more familiar with than those things or people of unknown origin. Whether he did this out of fear or shyness even Dak himself couldn't answer. With extreme silence Dak watched as the events unfolded.
(hope you guys had a pretty good christmas)

((OOC: Xmas was good...now posting on a 19 inch LCD XD))
Arili looked around, and studied the crowd. Some she knew well, other she knew not so well, and still others she had no idea who they were. They were all waiting for Firians, who was going to have one hell of a time dealing with the 10+ people who decided to show up...all at the same time. She decided not to think about it, she felt that the next few months were going to be very pivotal to the future, or lack thereof , of the empire.
She noticed that Dak seemed nervous. It was understandable, this many new people, and the tense feeling in the atmosphere. It was obvious that a war was imminent, she could feel it. Dak though, more than likely just felt the tension that was circulating around the room, and through the Force. She thought back to her first time she was in this palace, 22 years ago.
((OOC: Flashback Tiiimmmmeeeee!!!!!))
Arili looked around as the troops stormed the base, and killed two Knights behind her. Arnun, the only one with combat experience, had already shot and killed two of them, and grabbed their weapons. She looked at Arili and Yelled.
C'mon, we can't stay here! We have to move!
But Arili was frozen with fear, and just stayed where she was, crumpled into a ball, beside a fallen stone wall that she was using for cover. Arnun ran over, and grabbed her by the arm, and pulled her, firing at troops all the while.
ARILI, GET UP, WE HAVE TO GET TO THE SHIP!
She said, slapping her.
Arili snapped back to reality, and stood up. She looked around her and time seemed to slow down, as the sights, sounds, and smells of war washed over her for the first , but not the last time. The dead or dying Jedi, eviscerated soldiers, the fallen buildings and the fire. The once Beautiful temple stood in ruins, as did the Jedi.
When she snapped back to reality once more, they were nearing Arnun's YT-1300. The lines had completely collapsed. The Jedi had put up a good defense, but it was no match for the sheer might of the empires military. A final tug, and they ran up the ramp of the YT, the last of the Jedi making a noble, but futile, stand around a group of their wounded brothers.
When she woke up, she was in a refugee center , at Ithill Palace. In the room she was standing in right now. Wounded Republic sympathizers and Jedi, most of whom would die of their wounds, lay in cots. She got up and looked around, and was immediatley approaced by someone who called them self a "Fenaturi"....
Your safe now, young Padawan.
She said.
((OOC: /flashback ))
She blinked, and popped back to reality. She looked over at Dak.
Dak, your thoughts betray you. Nobody in this room is here to hurt you. There is no need to be nervous around us.
She said to him.

Uh...
Dak stared into her eyes for what seemed like an eternity. There was a strange calmness coming from the sentient before him. Dak could feel the connection...it seemed to happen between all things, but it didn't happen as strongly save for when he first met Ms. Annunaki and Holt. Dak could feel the tension lift and the heavy weight of nervousness removed. Dak could only smile as he looked at the girl's face. Dak realized she didn't look to much older than him, but looks can be deceiving so Dak dared not ask her her age.
Dak heard Ms. Annunaki's voice scrape the outer shell of his mind, but before the words came and went Dak snatched them up and processed them. Dak thought about that fact and began to ease up a little.
I am Dak Yoley...
The young boy was unsure if his answer was satisfactory. Maybe he should have put in his birth place, or his future occupation. What if that little bit wasn't formal enough and he was kicked out of this place.
Dak shook his head letting go of his worries and managed to return the smile completely to this new person.
And yours?
(I have a tendency to stare into well described eyes)

*the little fey continued to look at Dak with both childish interest and a strange calculation as her eyes showed years beyond her physical form and with a twirl her hair pattered softly against Dak's face as she spoke with a voice of silver bells*
I am Quenladose, it's a pleasure to meet you Dak.

Dak had been through countless conversations that went the same way. When he was meeting family friends that wanted to give their condolences, or when his Uncle and Aunt were throwing parties for grown ups. This time of course was a little different. Putting aside the fact that he was no longer on the familiar grounds of Corellia there was something about this girl. Dak noted that before he couldn't feel these things, sense the strange presence on particular people. It was only when he came in contact with Holt for the first time that these things became noticeable to him. The feeling that came from this Fey was similar to that of Ms. Annunaki. While Dak thought highly of Ms. Annunaki for this the feeling that came from Quenladose was different, altered slightly.
Um...is there anything else I should say?

((OOC: XD typos rock!! Its 20 CG, but I posted that at like 2 am last night while on 4chan. ))
Arili watched as the two interacted. Dak seemed enamored by Quenladose. She nodded to the fey when she said hello, then decided to see what Holt was up to. She walked over and stood next to him.
So...nice place eh? You'd almost think the guy who built it was trying to compensate for something...
She said to Holt.

Holt sighed to himself before turning around to Arili.
[glow=white,2,300]"Yeah. I guess so."[/glow]
He said, completely missing the meaning behind her statement. Wookiee humor was a bit more... slapstick than others. And, having no idea what she meant by what she had said, he decided to change the subject.
[glow=white,2,300]"What are we going to do?"[/glow]

Arili noticed that the joke went over his head, and decided not to try and explain.
Here?
She said, almost deciding to joke again, but deciding against it. He seemed to be in a rather serious mood.
Wait for Master Firians, get her to take a look at Dak, and get you a room or something. I'm probably going to be assigned annother mission, now that I have a stealth ship, your welcome to tag along though.
She said to him, trying to lighten the mood. Everything seemed so somber for no apparent reason.

(New computer, cant complain)
It always insisted on going first, the spherical little droid's quirks were getting the best of it. If he didn't enjoy them so a memory wipe would not be far off. H4-X did little but whistle cheerfully as the ex-ex-smuggler brushed past it.
You were right, so many did manage to survive. I suppose I owe you a tune up.
Smiling he nudged it slightly and entered the room. He had let his beard and moustache go for a day so his chin was scruffy. He wore a vest over a white linen shirt, dirty boots and pants finished the look. However, he had learned never to run unarmed, his pistols were concealed in his vest and Silbernes was safely in his force disguised prosthetic (hand).
It seemed Talau had not arrived yet, though a lack of punctuality was unlike her he realized that she had a planet on her mind. As her brother it seemed he, Latus, had arrived at a very good time. They had begun to congregate again, the jedi, the adepts, and what was left of the council. There was no army anymore, no powerful force behind the jedi, it would have to be deception that they must rely on... this was something Latus was exceedingly good at.
He found a place to sit near those chatting, immediately he felt the nervousness of the whole place, the whole question was.. what if we are caught? HX must have gotten the feeling too for it gave a nervous hoot.
Don't worry, we have overcome more than this.

Dak simply smiled at the quick-witted response by Quenladose. Of course Dak could have said a large number of things such as "Are you single?" or "Are all Jedi as good looking as you?", but Dak refrained from something like that for two reasons. One was because he didn't know how she, being a Jedi, would take the question. Second was because he wasn't one for corny pick-up lines like despite the fact that his Uncle had tried to push the old trait onto him.
No, I think all that has to be said has been said. Now it's up to you whether we continue.
Dak felt a little proud of himself thinking that he had thrown the question back at Quenladose.
(I got a 360, even if the system name is a year old now I think it's a good gift)

Vince got pretty far from the explosive scene, he started to become thirsty and hungry at the same time...before long he got sick and started to throw up by the time he reached his fourteenth mile from the scene. He lied down to get rest bu was so weak he couldn't even bother doing anything else besides lieing down.
----
A unknown ship exited hyperspace and made it's way towards the planet's surface, by the time it reached the surface Vince was well passed out. The ship landed softly near a basin and out came Dataraska walking within in partial made armor that he had prievously wore. The ship left the planet, it had a logo on it that was a transport shuttle only by Bothan Debris Inc. Dataraska was carrying along supplies and a portable camp with him. Unknowingly where in the world the Jedi who he had meet was at. He pressed on finding any trace of civilization.

(Was going to have him make an entrance but can't do it all the time ) Daeron and Jenno had made it to the planet safely. And after landing they had parted ways, Jenno knew where to go, he could sense it. He moved around shrouded in the force. Using the Quy'tek technique he did not exsist, there was no being walking towards the chamber where everyone else was located. He could feel the presence of people of old. Instantly he was hit with memories of old. The good and the bad. He felt through the force. He could only feel about one of the old masters had survived. But he couldn't quite tell. Many were new but some he could remember. Such as Lat, it seemed his old friend and padawan partner was alive. But that thought brought him sadness. Roth, his old master, he could not sense him. He tried to search him out. But it seemed as if he was not here. But still, those who had survived had already found some force snsitives it seemed. Jenno raised his hood, it was large, it covered the whole of his face, and the cape was wrapped around the whole of his body. His sabers hidden. He stood before the entrance to the room for a moment, not moving. It was time to set things in motion again. He entered the room silently, still using the Quy'tek technique to keep himself invisible through the force and his face was covered. No one would be able to tell who he was. He entered and stood in the corner. He used the force to observe what was going on and he could hear everything that was said. He just stood there. As if he were a dead man.

*Quenladose raised an eyebrow up at Dak as she let out a voice like silver bells and turned around in a flutter of cloth and hair and looked around the room at the others in it*
Maybe later we'll get to know each other better Dak, but for now I believe master Talau has something to say
