He paused for a moment, taking in the myriad of movement and action around him. As he started to relax the force began to flow freely once again. He still retained most of his training and his astral projections were as potent as ever, he could feel ever hope, every fear, every heartbeat... closing his eyes he could see the entire room through the force. As he continued something began to cloud in, to block his thoughts making him slightly hazy. He whispered to H4 before he even realized;
Even with the passage of time, so little has changed...
Then, in the corner of his mind, a new figure entered. It was masked incredibly well, more so than anyone he had ever encountered. He hesitated then went and stood by the wall. Latus was unsure but... the traces left in the force told their own story, one of pain, of courage, and of perseverance. The feeling was familiar but infinitely different at the same moment. He knew the man before him yet he was a complete stranger. He knew it was Jenno and this is all that mattered. He had changed far more than Latus would ever be able to understand.
Slowly Latus extended a hand in the direction of his old companion and allowed the force to flow through his fingers. The projection would only be seen by Jenno for the time being. Within the haze of the force, Latus could see the entity forming even before his consciousness left his own body for that of the projection. Rough but effective. The entity formed at Jenno's side, speaking to him through the force.
[glow=white,2,300]You have come, I see. Can't say I'm surprised. The wall-flower act doesn't suite you at all, old friend.[/glow]
H4 must have noticed it's master's languidly for it began to chirp and whistle nervously.

His right hand moved up to his hood and he pulled it back. He pushed himself off of the wall andturned to face Latus. He then abandoned the Quy'tek technique and let his force presents be felt throughout the whole room. He smiled at Latus and nodded his head. He chose to speak outloud rather than through the force.
[glow=blue,3,400]The old hermit act didn't suit me either. So I thought I'd give this Jedi lark another go.[/glow]
He just smiled, it was blatantly obvious he was joking. It deffinately seemed to him as if he had never grown up. But the smile faded slightly as he became a bit more serious.
[glow=blue,3,400]It's good to see that you are alive. Tell me, how have you been?[/glow]
Jenno seemed astute, notmoving an inch as he moved onto things more serious.
[glow=blue,3,400]I heard that Talau is okay, if a little run off her feet. I happened to meet Daeron on Ossus. Seems like a good man. But I can feel an absence in the force. I think that Master Roth is no longer with us. I could use some of his guidance now.[/glow]
Jenno sighed. These were deffinately dark and disturbing times. Looking around the moment more there was something amiss.
[glow=blue,3,400]Where are the Masters?[/glow]

((arg!! here! I'm here!))
Talau entered the room, Daeron and Daawn trailing after her, looking as if they were having some sort of conversation between the three of them. Talau looked rather distracted for a moment, then seeing them all there she smiled brightly, if not a little tiredly.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Forgive me for being so late...I've had hell and no water to deal with since I got back....This drought will cause no end of damage and problems.
Though it is good to see all of you. Holt, Arili, Latus, Jenno....and some new faces as well it seems.[/glow]

Dak looked at the woman entering the room and had to shield his eyes for a moment. The sheer radiance he felt from her overbearing spirit was a little too much. It was if one had the lights off and a stranger suddenly turned them on blinding you for a brief moment as your eyes readjusted. Dak couldn't help but think about why he suddenly began to see this in all these people. Just looking at them he could feel something coming from them, whether it was an oppressive strength, choking the life from him, or whether it was a calm peaceful.
This person before Dak no doubt had an overwhelming presence, but although slightly turbulent and disturbed the feeling was generally calm and accepting. Dak simply went on the assumption that this is what he would feel from everyone from now on. It was something he would just have to get used to.
The young boy didn't want to say anything because it might have been inappropriate for the place or it might not have been his right to speak out. With that he simply stared at the woman and her two companions who didn't show up nearly as much as her when she was around. As a matter of fact Dak had come to realize that everyone seemed to be dulled a bit in her presence as if she drowned out their presences with her own. In truth Dak didn't want to be this sensitive to others, but perhaps by joining the "Jedi", whom he knows very little about past their objectives and duties , he would be able to tone this strange sensitivity out. For now he just silently awaited someone to speak or mention his current situation.

Holt stepped forward into the circle which had been formed by those gathering. Now was a time for action, not greetings.
[glow=white,2,300]"Master Firians, while I can honestly say that I am as happy to have us all here as anyone here can possibly say, this is not the time for pleasantries."[/glow]
He turned and adressed the rest of the circe.
[glow=white,2,300]"It has been twenty years. And for those twenty years, we have hidden, we have been hunted, and we have died. Those who stand here are perhaps all that is left of our Order. The time for hiding is over. Even here, on Rilia, we are not safe. I have seen the Empire's Executors. I once faced one on Kashyyyk. They are... voids... in the Force. They can not be sensed. We are blind to them..."[/glow]
Holt breathed.
[glow=white,2,300]"And they are coming. The Empire has searched world after world, and they know where we hide. The Imperial Armada is sending fleet after fleet to map the regions of the Expansion Zone. So far, all that has kept the Jedi and the Feanturi alive has been the fact that this world is unknown to the Emporer. But they will find us. Make no mistake, they will find us. And when they do, they will crush this world. We can't fend them off. A single of their Executors could kill any one of us. Imagine thousands, literally raining down upon us from the battleships of the Armada. They will kill us, the Rilians, this planet, and with it, the galaxy will die, too."[/glow] Holt paused to let these words sink in before continuing.
[glow=white,2,300]"We can hide, no longer. We can run, no longer. We can defend, no longer. But there is one hope I have secured."[/glow]
The Knight lifted the modified datapad off of his belt and into the air above them all.
[glow=white,2,300]"On this is the emergency code to the Imperial Archives themselves. More specifically, the Emergency code to the Imperial Armada Command Center's operation files. We can not fight the Emporer or his Executors, but we can fight the Armada. If we succeed, we will severely weaken the Emporer's grip on the Galaxy. And once we do this, we can begin to liberate worlds, and fight back."[/glow]
A pause and a grin.
[glow=white,2,300]"So, who feels like saving the universe?"[/glow]
(YEAH! Finally, a plotline has been secured! So basically, continue the discussion, and I'll reveal the information on the datapad and in the files once we get the group to a computer. Trust me, I got the next few years (in-game) all set up fer us.)

Arili was surprised when Holt took center stage, he hadn't even met Tal for five minutes before he was taking charge of things. The instinctual side of her was impressed. But, that quickly subsided with the information he provided. The fact that the Empire had Executors that couldn't be detected or "felt" with the force , was something that worried her immensely.
And, that the empire was systematically hunting down the Jedi world by world was something that was also worrying, the fact that they could jump into the system at any time and find them was something that bothered her deeply. They needed to take action, they needed to slow down the empire somehow. And, most of all, kill these "Executors" , before they ended up killing them all. She looked over at Dak , and some part wished he had never been involved in this. If it went bad...he'd end up dead, just like the rest of them...he was so young, and so innocent...She should never have involved him in all this. She looked back to Holt, who had started explaining about the codes.
She was confused, how would the emergency codes help them at all? All they would do was serve to bring the empire down upon who ever sent them. But, as usual, Holt probably had some sort of a plan for them. For someone who had been out of the loop for 20 odd years, he seemed to be getting back into the swing of things rather quickly.
So, what do these codes do exactly? And how do they help us?
She asked.
((OOC: Does this feel almost exactly like the first 3 seasons of SG-1 to anyone else? One planet, small team, against the entire hostile galaxy that is trying to hunt them down? Just saying, but it feels allot like that to me.))

Holt turned and faced Arili, stepping back into the circle for another to speak.
[glow=white,2,300]"These codes act as an emergency link to the Imperial Archives. We'd have to access it from some kind of Imperial computer, but we should have enough time to download some information on the Armada. We'd need a professional slicer to make the link. It won't be easy."[/glow]
Holt said, awaiting another response.
(Actually, picture a split-up and a whole bunch of NPC'd side-quests.)

Jenno sat back and watched as Talau entered, he merely nodded in reply to his name. Laying with his back against the cold, hard wall he watched with uncertain eyes as Holt spoke. After he waited for a moment he stepped forward.
[glow=blue,3,400]"And then what? If we download the information and find someway to take down the armada, do you really think that will be enough? They will still come, they will still search. We wont be able to eliminate every single on of their ships."[/glow]
Jenno moved his arms, held in front of him.
[glow=blue,3,400]"Things have changed dramatically. The Sith are ready for us. Even on my way here I was attacked by an assassin squad. They have been training, waiting for this moment. They wish us to make the first move and then close in around us before wiping us out completely."[/glow]
Jenno sighed. As he paced slightly, thoughts trailing across his mind, dreams and vision entered his mind from the back of his mind. Trailing behind it was the pain of such thoughts, they struck at his heart.
[glow=blue,3,400]"The next few moves that we make will be the moves that will bring about our return or throw us into complete annihilation. We can not waste this opportunity. If we are to strike we need to cut a deep, gaping wound one that will give us a major opportunity. Although your suggestion is a good one Holt, at the moment we do not have the man power or recources to pull off such an attack.[/glow]
Jenno stopped, he stood still, he stood tall he looked around at all of them, seemingly looking at his faces, yet he searched beyond he saw their hearts and saw their thoughts. He spoke again.
[glow=blue,3,400]Death for us here would mean that the Sith would be able to create an ever existing reign of terror. And a decision with that much weight on it's shoulders can not be thrown away."[/glow]
Jenno moved back, still facing them all and placed his back against the wall, in the same position as he had been before. He waited.

Holt clenched a fist and stood forward.
[glow=white,2,300]"Pardon me, Master, but I don't think you fully understand the gravity of this opportunity. It wasn't the Executors, or the Emporer, who took over the galaxy. It was the thousands of ships of the Imperial Armada that conquered world after world. And, again, pardon me for saying so, but we don't have the manpower or resources to pull off any attack against the New Empire."[/glow] He paused to look away from the Master, his anger completely subsiding.
[glow=white,2,300]"If we can locate the flagships and take them out, we can slow the Armada down. Each flagship commands a fleet. Without a flagship, their fleet becomes disorganized. They'll have to repair themselves before they'll send any more fleets out into uncharted space. It would only take a few of us to take out a ship if we infiltrate it first. If you, Master, think you have some other plan to strike at the Empire, please, tell us. The Force knows we need as many chances as we can get."[/glow]
The determined Knight asked.

If these executors are so powerful wouldn't the empire have a way to stop them should they turn? I mean I don't think they would allow something so powerful to go unchecked right

Holt raised an eyebrow. The youngling had a point. Holt racked his mind to see what he could remember.
[glow=white,2,300]"Well... they claim to serve what they call The Darkness. They also say that their power comes from this same Darkness. Perhaps they are prisoners to the very power they command? The Emporer would have to know about this..."[/glow]
He turned away and thought about it.
[glow=white,2,300]"Either way, the only people who would know of such a weakness aren't about to tell us. We'll have to deal with them eventually, so finding a way to stop them might be worth doing... But that's for a later time... When we have the opportunity."[/glow]
(For more info, wait until I post his encounter with the Executor in the mini-series.)

((yes it does kinda seem that way Arili....that or The Fifth Element))
Tal gazed at Holt. He had a point, but he was to wreckless in his thinking. She admired his vigor and his bravery, but bravery itself could not win battles against so many enemies....such bravery was foolishness.
[glow=blue,2,300]I will fight with you Holt, but surely there must be a way to make their numbers smaller, and still keep Rilia from harm?[/glow]
Daeron chimed in, adjusting his cloak slightly. His eyes wandered to Dak for a moment, then back to Holt.
[glow=blue,2,300]We must keep our last stronghold secure, and with it our future.[/glow]
He added, motioning to Dak, Quena, and Verena. Daawn nodded slightly and sighed a bit.
[glow=green,2,300]My brother has a point. I will help as well, but surely there must be another way to do this than simply announcing that we plan to wage war on the Empire? How do you plan to do this?....You cannot simply try to take command of the fleet, nor attack it with so few as we have?[/glow]
Talau smiled slightly, but said nothing for the moment. Her children were taking care of this situation just fine for the time being.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Holt, I admire you bravery, but we cannot simply go into this blind. We have these codes, and yes, they will help...but we cannot be expected to fight this fleet by ourselves. Not so soon. First we must re-establish ourselves with the people of the galaxy, give them a spark of hope that the tyrrany will end....in so doing we will gain more allies, and more who are willing to fight with us.
As of now, many of the people simply remember us as something that had once been, and cannot be again. This does nothing for us...they may simply see us as yet another threat that wishes to rule over them. The people will be over cautious of us....I see many problems if that happens.[/glow]
Talau sighed and shook her head a bit, her hair falling across her eyes slightly.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Also...these executioners....Quena has a point on them...there must be a way that the emperor has to keep them in check should they gain the feeling that they are being used and not treated well enough...and in so feeling, turn on him? As for them not being detectable...hmph...they are very able to do so if they are a void in the force.
When I was younger, I was captured by the sith lord of the time....Chronos....and forced to do things for her. But in that time, she used certain creatures from Myrkyr....ysalamiri. They are anti-force creatures....they are void just as you say these executioners are. That was how I was able to learn what to feel for. I suggest we gather some of these creatures to use for training....so that we may teach others what to feel for as well.[/glow]

((No need to apologise. I should be the one apologizing for popping in so late.))
With a vague interest, Verena listened to the group, a hand on her hip and the other running through the soft texture of her hair as she weighed the gravity of the situation. She knew she should probably be more affected by what they were saying, but it just all seemed so surreal, that something could penetrate Rilia’s defenses and threaten them like that. Also, despite this impending doom, everything appeared so tranquil and she found it difficult to picture the walls around her crumbling, or the people around her being slaughtered. She gave off a sigh as she pondered how naïveté such thoughts probably were.
Realizing that she most likely looked as if she wasn’t concentrating on the conversation, she allowed her hand to fall from her hair to her side and attempted to focus on what was being said; suppressing a groan as the word “training” was mentioned. She hated force training…

Daeron chuckled at Verena's groan. Obviously she wasn't too keen on the idea of more training. He put a hand on her shoulder for comfort and winked at her slightly.
Not to Worry Verena...i don't think it will be difficult.

Dak looked on with what seemed be a stupefied gaze. How could one expect to know the extremity of the situation when one has only just arrive. Sure Dak knew the Empire existed, but to be such a threat to these people, these "Jedi", was something beyond him. As hard as it was to completely comprehend the situation Dak knew that if he was to become a Jedi like he felt he was destined to become he would have to assist in their effort to fight the Empire.
In actuality Dak preferred Holt's methods, he always did like action before words, but the berating that he received from his comrades seemed to be a bit disheartening. Dak knew they would have to give their all in a battle like Holt suggested, but to already say that they would lose? Dak began to wonder what power the empire held.
As the conversation drew on though the young boy continued to get glimpses of what the Jedi were. Dak realized, even if it may be because of the situation, the Jedi were like a close knit family. He doubted that every one of them were related, but he still saw that kniship within them. Perhaps it is the "Force" that links these people, but that answer Dak would have to put off for now.

Holt leaned against a back wall and rubbed his temples.
[glow=white,2,300]"This is not bravery, Master Firians. Bravery... bravery is doing something foolish with resolution enough to chance at success. This is not that."[/glow]
Hr paused.
[glow=white,2,300]"You do not understand the Empire as I have... come to have had. Let me assure you, the Executors do not act simply as voids. They act as voids to us, to our level of... of sentient thought. They exist on a higher level of The Force, which is why they can not speak. They can not be sensed by us because we can not exist at thier level, not without forfeiting our own sentience. They do not think, they have no emotion. They can not be jealous or feel they have been wronged. When I called them voids, I said so because they truly are. They are void of heart, mind... soul. All that remains is the dark side of The Force."[/glow]
He breathed.
[glow=white,2,300]"What I propose, Master Firians, is not war. I do not plan on attacking this Armada blindly....."[/glow]
A beat.
[glow=white,2,300]"The Empire has, as we have hidden, expanded. It is now much larger than the Regency, or any other Republic or Empire has been before it. Outer Rim systems have been annexed, most of them unwillingly. To each of these systems, there is a small fleet of Imperial forces. To each fleet, a flagship. Do you see it now? We can liberate these systems. Liberate the enitre outermost Rim, perhaps. And if we do, we will have the galaxy surrounded, and we will hold enough manpower and resources, as Master Jenno has put it, to fight this war."[/glow]
