Jenno stood there, listening again. In the back of his mind sparked memories of talks he had had with Kuros ten years ago, they had shared their history with each other after the fight. And the ysalamiri re brought these memories back. He was quick to step forward again.
[glow=blue,3,400]Please, don't call me a master, I don't deserve that title.
I know of these creatures, from the planet Myrkr, Kuros told of a trip he once took there to acquire some of the beasts for a weapon the Sith were creating, I hope this executors are not those weapons. Even if they will not help us detect the Executors it is still worth us gathering some of these beasts for training, we will need a higher level of training, just like I took for the fight against Lorthias. I agree, that will make things much easier or us.
There is something else as well that will help us in the upcoming battles. During the end of the last war I had come to terms with the Battle Meditation art and I can use it effectively now. But there is more, in my exile I came to learn something new, something beyond the art of Battle Meditation. It is known as Force Meld. This ability allows me to increase the Force sensitivity of all force users that I wish. It's a powerful asset that will help us greatly in the future. I have even begun to learn to use it whilst performing other acts so I will still be able to partake in the missions.[/glow]
Jenno brought a hand up to his chin rested it there for a moment before speaking again.
[glow=blue,3,400]I believe the force training could be very useful, there are secrets from Jedi long gone that I have found and am currently studying. I believe that with heightened force ability we will pose a much more deadly threat.
One thing I propose is a vigorous group training session, much like I mentioned before. But this time, we will not delve into the dark side, as it was something that was considered dangerous then. But we must train hard if we are to succeed and a cross between both force and lightsaber training could make each and every one of us much stronger for the ensuing war.[/glow]

Holt stood, almost shouting.
[glow=white,2,300]"You propose training!? More preparation? We have had twenty years to train, to prepare. I only hope that I was not the only one who made use of that time. We will train, sure enough. But we can not just sit idly by and train ourselves for an upcoming war. The war has already begun. We have been seen. We have been identified as Jedi. They know where we hide. We can not defend an enitre planet from only it's surface. We tried that on Yavin IV. We need to strike now. To gain worlds, systems. The Empire could find this world tomorrow. Perhaps they aready have. We can't be sure they haven't. But they will. And let me assure you, when that happens, I will not be caught in the training chambers with my saber on stun."[/glow]
Holt was shaking now, though not at all from anger.

Jenno immediately raised his head slightly in acknoledgement of Holt's anger. Quickly he butted in sharply, keeping as calm as before.
[glow=blue,3,400]Calm yourself Holt. I believe you don't understand of what I speak. I am talking about elite trainning sessions, practice against a large multitude of opponents, learning new techniques through the force and boosting you effectiveness in all areas, stamina, strength, and also, wisdom. This training will not be as the others have.
Now, you may feel this a waste of your time, if you think so then leave now. It seems to me that you can not fully manage your emotions. This will be a challenge for all of us. I don't believe in these twenty years you have been constantly fighting in large battles. We will all be slightly off focus. I for one only used my lightsabers twice whilst in exile. This will be, for all of us an advancement and if these Executors are as strong as you say then we need all the advanced training we can get.
We are talking about changing the fate of galaxy here and returning balance to the force. For that, we will all need to be finely tuned into the force. Things will be much harder here on out.[/glow]

(Ummm.. yeah, so Holt wasn't angry, if you noted my post. He's a bit more complicated than that. ) Holt faced the Master who refused his title. [glow=white,2,300] "You have no idea what I have faced in Exile."[/glow] The pained Knight replied, before exiting the room.

(I didn't say he was, I merely mentioned his emotions)
Jenno grunted slightly before sighing. Reaching through the force he spoke to Holt, sympathetically.
[glow=blue,3,400]You are not the only one who felt pain during their exile, I know how it feels.[/glow]
Jenno turned to them all. Still keeping a bridge between himself and Holt so he could hear what he said.
[glow=blue,3,400]So, maybe things are meant to stay this way. Maybe we are not meant to rise from the ashes of or fallen friends and masters. Maybe the Jedi did cease to be twenty years ago. I ask you now with all my heart, do we forsaken the galaxy for the things that have happened to us? We have felt great pain and suffering with no compensation other than being chased across the galaxy like dogs. Do we forsaken what remains remains of the Jedi and leave it all in ruin? The choice is yours.[/glow]
Jenno finished and lingered for a moment before waiting to sense what Holt was doing and his reaction. He would be surprised if he didn't know that the majority of that was directed towards him.

After leaving the room, Holt turned down a hallway a raced away to the nearest window, climbing out and up the palace walls. Heights comforted him nowadays.
As soon as Jenno made a connection, Holt severed it, becoming invisible to the Master.

Came back to reality when he saw Holt leave the room slightly disturbed. Dak still stood patiently waiting for the masters as they called themselves to finish.
While they were conversing Dak's eyes did not remove themselves from the person he could not identify yet. It was something about him, dark but not like those people that Arilli and Holt encountered before they escaped Corellia. It was as if he was seeing the true test of a Jedi. The outcome that all Jedi would have to face just by looking at him Dak could feel the number of trials run through his head. Not as shared memories but as feelings, emotions, all blurred by so fast it hit Dak in one immense shot. Dak winced once noticing that this man had not even done anything to him, but yet he was feeling this.
Not wanting to experience that again the young boy looked up at Arilli, a person's presence whom he knew was calm. Since coming to this new planet Dak had already encountered the Jedi, and most of them seemed to be greatly troubled compared to Arili. Still it was no place for Dak to think so much and so openly at that.
The young boy continued to watch the events unfold with one thought on his mind from that point forward. "I can really help the Jedi...right?"

((OOC: sorry for taking so long people.))
Arili listened to the squabble between the two, and she couldn't help thinking that maybe the Jedi were supposed to be gone. Not in ideal, or in the literal sense, but in the general ideal of one side that is light, constantly fighting one side that is dark. If they were going to undertake their mission, and become so in tune with the light side of the force...would they not off balance it as much as the dark side? and who was to say that the light side was right? This entire battle, the entire reason that the Empire existed, was because of imbalance in the force. Caused , however indirectly, by the Jedi themselves. And who was to say that these executors were truly evil? what if they were forced...against their will. What if some of the person who became one still existed, somewhere. She had been brooding over these issues for a number of years...ever since she had been forced to kill her sister, she had become more in tune with the dark side than she initially would have liked, but it served to educate her...to balance her decisions and actions.
Arili was becoming more and more frustrated with the dogmatic view of the force that the Fenaturi, and more importantly, other Jedi , were spouting. They were on the light side, which served to imbalance the force, and get them all killed. Why could they not see it! It was so obvious! What they needed wasn't more training in the light side, it was balance, it was to not just know how to detect an Executor, it was to actually have experience on the dark side...To walk the line in between the dark and light, and truly balance ones self.
Arili suddenly felt sick being around the group of them, as she came to the realization that they were the problem as much as the Executors. She realized what she needed to do...she needed to get away from the Jedi, and fast. They were the ones responsible for the in initial imbalance in the force, and the downfall of the order, and they still didn't get it. She wanted nothing to do with their insane plans and plots to overthrow the empire. The force always had a way of working its self out in time, one could not simply rush it because they got beaten and were angry. The time of the Jedi was over, they had had 2000 years of dominance, and the force needed balance.
She looked after Holt, as he left, and looked to Dak, then to Talau. Said nothing, and left, headed for her ship.
She had no idea where to go, she thought as she walked through the palace. The empire was hunting down the Jedi and the Sith were completely out of the question. Arili realized she'd have to rely on her ship's stealth and her experience to hide until an opportunity showed its self.
She ran the startup sequence, then streaked off into the night sky, engaging the sensor cloak and ignoring the controllers hails as she jumped into hyperspace.

*Quenladose looked on at the conversation between the two and listened as her eyes wondered around the room to take in the scene. Tal, Daeron, and Daawn................ the mysterious jedi who refused his title.................. master Holt.................. master Arili and Dak............... Verena whom she hadn't met as her ears listened her eyes bled to look like falling snow as the fey moved forward and with a show of friendship slung her arm over Daks shoulder as master Arili left letting tiny trails of frost form along her arms and travel to his neck as sluggishly moved over to the girl and spoke with both a look of joy and melancholy on her face as her voice came out like silver bells and her eyes continued to look like a snow globe with snow falling*
Hello, what's your name ravens hair?
*the little fey continued to look on as she swung the length of her hair to fall and frame her face and fall on Dak*

(Who doesn't love some good conflict?)
Holt, who currently sat atop the Palace, looked out over the planet. He saw, in the distance, the woods in which he fought Master Firians' enemies without hesitation those twenty years ago. A week later, he had left to defend Yavin IV.
It seemed only one of those missions was destined to succeed. Holt did, however, find it odd that the world that should survive was the one with Master Firians' people, these Feanturi, rather than the Jedi of Yavin IV.
Holt began to find himself wondering why he had fought to defend this world. This world held no ties to the rest of the Galaxy. It had no strategic location. Why then, did this world remain free?
[glow=white,2,300]"Because Master Firians wanted it to be..."[/glow]
That was it, Holt had known it since the fall of the Jedi Temple twenty years ago. He had just not wanted to face the possibility that the death of the Jedi should come as a result of a Master's selfishness. He had been forced to forsake his family on Nelvaan, and again on Kashyyyk, all for the sake that the galaxy might be freed. And yet, the Jedi still served to protect these Feanturi, at the risk of thousands of their own ranks. Why should Master Firians and her family live while hundreds of others die?
Holt looked out at the sky and saw the shape of Arili's ship leaving the atmosphere. He wondered how his fellow Knight could always seem to come to the correct comclusion in half the time he took. Her actions confirmed his own suspicions.
At that moment, Jedi Knight Holt Syren swore that, if Rilia was ever again attacked, he would not be there to defend it.

Memories...... Loss...... The Past... Forgotten......
A sleek transport burned through the atmosphere over the skies of Rilia. To any who were watching the skies at that moment in time would only see another meteorish shape come down to the planet. It leveled out over the horizon and adjusted its direction to that of the Palace.
In the cockpit sat a man who had not been seen or heard of in twenty years. All thought him dead. Hunted down by the Empire. The last time anyone had seen him was when he stood tall in the Council Chambers years ago awaiting his judgement.
The ship swung around as it approached the Royal Palace on Rilia. It extended its landing struts and kicked up some dust as the repulsors set ever so lightly down on the tarmac. The ramp descended as a cloaked figure lightly tread down it. The wind rustled his cloak but his face still lay deep in the shadows of his hood. He approached the palace from the south. He exteneded his senses and felt a presence he had not felt in the past two decades. He turned in the direction of this person and quickened his step.
As he approached the entrance to the chamber the last of the Jedi were in Nikos Reyn Strife opened himself fully to the Force. To those who would see him they would have mistaken him for a ghost.
I have returned from the Grave, yet again.

Arili's ship popped out of hyperspace about 2 light years from Rillia. The middle of nowhere. Exactly where she wanted to be. She leaned back in the seat and thought about what had just happened. She felt so used, so dirty. 20 years, the Fenaturi had used her to defend their personal interests on a completely insignificant world. The Fenaturi are one thing , but they don't answer to a Jedi Council like she was supposed to. She looked back, and had to hold back tears when she realized it. From top to bottom, the entire Jedi order was about to collapse. Weather or not the attack on Yavin IV happened, the arrogance and bias of the leadership would have lead to it.
She looked out the window, at the tiny speck that was the Rilian system. The Fenaturi, and, more importantly, Talau Firians, had used her to defend the personal interests of her family. Arili thought for a second...then came to the realization to the cause of her actions. She was disappointed, not in Firians, and certanly not in any of the other Jedi masters, but more importantly, herself. She had allowed herself to be used. Exactly what she had been for the first 17 years of her life. Arili was directly responsible for her sister's death because she had refused to see it for all those years. She had killed many Morequi, and been responsible for many more innocent Fenaturi, and now dead, Fenaturi in battle. All to see the great and powerful Talau Firians rise to power again. Yes, she did give a measure of peace and stability to the planet, but her means to gain said power were just as diabolical as those employed by the Morequi. To Arili, the ends did not justify the means.
But, one very important fact still remained. She had nowhere to go. The Fenaturi had succeeded in their plan to use her, and had turned her into their personal soldier. The planet she had fought so hard for, had become her prison. She punched the console out of frustration, and set a reverse course.
* 20 mins later *
The sleek black craft touched down on the pad it had taken off from, and Arili checked her emotions one more time. She turned the ships systems off, and got up, and dis-embarked.

Something flickered at the edge of his mind. There was yet another that was not in this room that belonged here. He could smell the doubts in the air that came from this one. He had once had the same doubts. He silently caressed her consciousness with a whisper of the Force. Allowing her to know he was there when he had not been before.

Without looking at Daeron, she laid a hand on his as it rested on her shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze, appreciating the support and yet feeling guilty as she came to a decision. It wasnft that she was ungrateful for him taking her on as an apprentice when so many wouldnft, it was just that she felt she could be doing so much more off world rather than merely training some more. Fighting the guilt she looked up to him and straight into his eyes as she voiced her decision.
gDaeron, you wouldnft hold it against me if I held a different opinion, would you? Holt might actually find a weakness, or if wefre lucky we may even find a way to slow their expansion, or hide Rilia entirely. Either way, I donft think itfd be safe to ignore such a threat just to train some more, we should find out as much about them as possible ewhilef we prepare and if we can we should probably even attempt to strike a blow. Please donft take this the wrong way as I couldnft have been happier when you picked me as an apprentice and Ifm sorry if I wasted your time. It wasnft an easy choice to make but itfs how I feelch
With that said, Verena averted her gaze and without another word let her hand fall from Daeronfs before slowly making her way for the exit. As she passed the others, she couldnft help but smile as she caught sight of the two other apprentices hitting it off and almost stopped as another person burst into the room. She brushed off her curiosity however as she made finding Holt her priority and stepped up her pace to a brisk walk. She gave Daeron a small wave before disappearing.
She deliberated her decision as she walked; hoping she had made the right choice. She wouldnft be surprised if she wasnft allowed back and knew she may have thrown away her only chance as advancing as a Feanturi, but felt that stopping this new threat was more important than any social position.
She scaled the steps quickly as considered what she had done, hoping to catch sight of where Holt may be from the roof and so was pleasantly surprised when she actually caught him sitting there, on the rooftop. She smirked as she pondered what she was getting herself into and as she stepped up behind Holt, she spoke out.
gAn opponent that could kill any one of us with ease, even the masters, you emphasized this point yourself and yet you want to take the fight to them?h
She pushed herself up to take a seat next to him, looking outwards towards the horizon as she continued.
gItfs insane and yet, even as we train I canft help but feel that the enemy is gaining a stronger foothold and by the time wefre finished training they may be almost impossible to dislodge.h
She turned to face Holt, giving him a warm smile as she remembered her manners.
gIfm getting ahead of myself though, Ifm Verena and if youfd allow me, Ifd really like to help.h

Hot turned and faced the retawan, realizing for the first time that she was not a Rilan. But the means by which a human girl becomes a Feanturi was not of particular interest to him as of now.
Out of the corner of his eye, he could see, again, Arili's ship re-enter the atmosphere.
[glow=teal,2,300]"You wish to help, do you? Wouldn't you rather just train some more?"[/glow]
Holt turned away from her again.
[glow=teal,2,300]"I thank you for your help. It will be sorely needed. But, if we are to help the galaxy, we must leave. Quickly. We must find Arili."[/glow]
The Knight urged, already descending the steps down to the hangars.

Talau groaned inwardly. She had stood calmly listening to him as he had ranted, thinking it childish. Did he know her so little to think that she would sit idly by while the galaxy fell to ruins? Had she not been the one to gather them all here where they could plan in saftey for a little while so that they might achieve something? She had known long ago that the jedi would need a safe haven, and since that time she'd counted on Rilia being that haven...however, it had needed to be freed of it's own warlords before it could ever become such a thing. Holt blamed her for the deaths of the others in a way...but why? She had lost all of her family as well as he had...had lost two masters, friends, nearly lost her brother twice, the father of her children, and Sana. She had fought along side the jedi for longer than he'd been alive...and now she was to blame? It was rediculus...but then her thoughts suddenly turned to a new presence.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Nikos?[/glow]
She wondered aloud, turning her head in the direction of the presence. She shook her head slightly. No...it couldn't be. He'd turned to the darkness long ago, and she felt no such power over this man at the moment. Looking back to Jenno and the others she sighed.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]I suppose that Holt is in a way right...I am one of the reasons the others died. If you had been there to help them instead of me....[/glow]
She looked down slightly, then raised her head, refusing to give up.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]I thought to make rilia safe for the jedi when they would most need it...but it seems that though I have succeeded I have also failed you all. Do as you see fit. I will be there to help in what ever ways I can.[/glow]
Daeron watched Verena leave after Holt and sighed slightly at his mother's words, exchanging a glance with Daawn.
[glow=blue,2,300]As I have already said...I will help in what ways I can.[/glow]
Daawn simply stood listening and watching. She had nothing really to say. She would help, and Daeron knew it, but she would not put herself into the middle of this childishness that the jedi Holt had caused with his actions. She agreed that something needed to be done, but Daawn wasn't one to go blindly into something without even an idea of what the strategie would be.

Arili was heading back to the meeting, hoping that she might be able to smooth things over, when she felt a strange sensation, almost like someone was reaching out to touch her through the force. It wasn't anyone she knew, but he had a certain amount of familiarity. She was thinking about it when she allmost bumped into Holt and Verena, walking towards the hangars. Holt seemed to be troubled.
Holt?
She said simply, knowing that there was something else going on there. Arili had a hunch that he had figured out what she had, he was a smart one and if any one of the Jedi could figure it out it would be him.

(Gah, typing with one hand here)
Jenno felt through the echo of the force, the feeling it gave him made him uncertain, a little awkward. And so with little more than a murmur. He left the room.
[glow=blue,3,400]"I will return shortly"[/glow] was all he said.
As soon as he left the room and the door slid shut behind him he flew, straight down the passages, the force as his beacon, as his guide. He Flew towards the hangar, his feet seemingly not touching the floor. He headed extremely fast, yet didn't make a sound, on the ground or through the force.
He entered the hangar and immediately leaped through the air and over the three of them let himself fly into a somersault half turn, landing in between them and the ships. He stood for a moment as his feet touched the ground silently then as he stood up from his crouched position he looked at all three of them.
[glow=blue,3,400]"Tell me, what is it you plan to do."[/glow]
Jenno stood there, he knew not of what he was doing he just let the force guide him, every movement every word, it coursed through him. He stood there, waiting for an answer, his eyes narrowing as he glared at each and every one of them. His voice was not one of anger, but of great uncertainty."

(Tal, please don't god-mod like that. You have no way of knowing what Holt thinks. He's invisible to you through the Force. Hence the post. You can not sense him.)
Holt stopped as soon as he reached Arili. He was indeed glad that she had returned. He opened his mouth to speak when Master Jenno arrived, again demanding, this time not for obediance, but for information. Holt stepped between the Master and the two females present.
Holt replied in a coarse, stern tone.
[glow=teal,2,300]"I plan to do what you won't, to achieve what you can't, because I will risk what you should. And if you try to stop me, you will not find me so easy a lapdog to your cause, Master Jenno."[/glow]

Alas, he had not been forgotten, but could sense doubt and disbelief emanating through Talau's thoughts. He allowed himself to embrace her through the Force and glided down the steps to stand before her. A ghost from the past. A student and comrade lost.
With the graceful smooth motion of a dancer, Nikos raised his hand and caressed the side of Tal's face.
I told you that I would return to you and save you. Please forgive me.
He manipulated the shadows in his hood to allow his former master and friend to see the face that she had known twenty years earlier. A single tear formed at the corner of his right eye and slowly slid down his cheek. He lifted the tear from his cheek and guided it to hang over the open hand he had reached for, and let it settle there. As soon as it alighted upon her palm a faint silver glow emanated from the tear as it crystalized.
This tear represents all of my regrets, failures, sadness and sorrow. Take it.
Nikos let his sorrow and loss flow outwards and through the room. He wanted the others to recognize that they all had lost something and to remind them why they were here and what they were fighting for. He felt the others in the corridor near the hangar and extended it to linger among them too. The slight whisper he had touched the doubted one with was strengthened and let some of his strength flow into her.
Child, do not fret and let doubts cloud your thoughts. I will lend you strength when you need it. He whispered to her through the Force.
