Name: Riko Fultyre
Race: Human
Age: 22
Height: 1.92 meters
Weight: 78 kg
Appearance: Muscular, very strong and tall with black hair tied back in a ponytail. Riko wears a distninctive scar accross his right eye as a result of battle against twenty vibro-shield armed droids. He wears a sand-colored tunic and dark brown robes.
Birth place: Vjun
Early Life
Much of Riko Fultyre's past still remains a mystery to this day. Very few scraps of his past have been collected. What is known about him is that he had been taken from Vjun after an illness otherwise known as madness struck his birthplanet by a mysterious Jedi Master who had preferred to keep his identity a secret from his newest student. Throughout his training, Riko never discovered his master's real identity even though he has achieved immortality just as the legendary Masters Qui Gon Jinn, Yoda, Obi Wan Kenobi and the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker have.
Across the Stars: The Padawan learner
Riko has suffered the loss of his master personally after what should have been a simple assignment of escorting a senator from Coruscant to Muunilinst. There had been reports of senators disappearing throughout the galaxy, departing from any given location and simply disappearing in mid-flight. The Senator of Muunilinst had requested the protection of the Jedi. Tonyur Bekt, who was the Grand Master of the Jedi Order before Kento Tiin, gave this assignment to Riko and his Master. As they made flight for Muunilinst, they encountered a raveged ship calling for help. When they approached, they discovered it was a trap set by the Sith.
Captured, Riko and his Master discovered that the Senators had been taken because they had discovered something about the secret plans of the Sith. Ordered by the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Syrus back in the day, the Sith began a construction of a powerful weapon which would eventually annihalate the Jedi, and that construction was taking place on the planet of Dantooine. It was the apprentice of Darth Freya who revealed this to them. Just as the Sith student was about to strike the final blow, the jail keeper, Li Bailong released the Jedi from the imprisoning forcefield, allowing them to defend themselves against the Sith. The two Jedi overwhelmed the Sith and travelled to Dantooine.
Once there, they discovered from an old worker that this was not the true location of the secret weapon, and that they should go to Geonosis and uncover the secret and stop the construction before it was too late. Barely escaping with their lives, Riko and his master travelled to the distant Geonosis, where they discovered the foundary of a droid army. They were caught lurking in the factory by none other than Darth Freya himself, escorted by 20 prototype droids. These were the original of billions of such droids in the making, and that an army of such machines would certainly destroy the Order.
As Riko engaged the prototypes, his master fought Darth Freya. A furious battle followed where Riko nearly lost his right eye, but also lost his master to the Sith. Enraged, Riko killed Freya and then, after a tearful goodbye to his old master, shut down the droid production and destroyed the factory.
The newest Jedi Knight
Returning to Coruscant, Riko completed his training under Tonyur Bekt, and soon became a prominent Jedi Knight, fulfilling difficult tasks all over the galaxy and gaining a reputation as a fighter and diplomat accross the stars, eventually earning him a seat in the Jedi Council alongside the new Grand Master, Kento Tiin.
An ancient encounter
Riko's first mission as the second Senior Council Member brought him to Yavin IV, where there have been disturbing reports of students disappearing and a dark pall spreading over the Massassi temple that served as a sanctuary for the Jedi. The temple's Master, Max Port, recalled the events to Riko, and the Jedi Knight soon set to work. Following his senses and the Force, they eventually led him to a seemingly abandoned area of the temple. Entering, Riko found that the temple had been occupied by the Sith judging by the strange markings on the walls. Upon entering, he encountered two Sith warriors. Defeating them, they led Riko to what lay within. The tomb of Exar Kun.
Exar Kun revealed his plans to the Jedi Knight in the hopes of having him join his cause to rule the galaxy. The Sith he had fought were those who had ventured from the Jedi sanctuary and were now possessed by his spirit. Riko refused to join and escaped from the temple. The very next day, the battle had begun, and Riko was joined by his Padawan, Kalo Darken, to battle the desciples of Exar Kun. Kun had taken personal possession of one of the Jedi students in order to carry out his own will, but was overwhelmed by Riko, Kalo, Max and another Jedi of the sanctuary.
Succeeding in defeating Kun, Riko remained on Yavin IV to help rebuild the temple as it was before the battle, and befriended a troubled Padawan named Soru Lomenak. Soru had nearly been driven to the Dark Side, worried he would never see his friends again and angered by his guilt for having failed them. Riko made him see the light, and Soru looked at Riko as a hero.
The War begins
Shortly afterward, the Sith under Darth Syrus's command revealed themselves and attacked the temple of Yavin IV, forcing the Jedi to evacuate. Darth Kross led the battle. Riko fought Kross alongside Kento to allow the other Jedi to escape. It had been a close call as these new opponents were met by all available Jedi. Unfortunately, there proved to be too few. RIko recognized that there was no choice but to leave. When they were safe, the Jedi Masters followed suit and headed to Coruscant to plan their next line of defense. Riko was sent to Ilum, where the Sith were surely going to strike. The Jedi could not affor to lose the planet. If they did, the Jedi younglings would no longer be able to build their lightsabers.
When Riko arrived, Ilum was already under attack. Darth Kross was there, followed by others, namely Darth Vastor and Darth Drahmen. Vastor escaped to call for help while Drahmen engaged battle with Riko as Kross engaged with Ilum's master, Chris Leen. Victory almost secured for the Jedi, Kross resorted to a desperate measure and threatened to kill Ragab Starseer, second apprentice to Riko, if they were not allowed to escape. Ragab was spared, but so were Kross and Drahmen.
The First Battle of Coruscant
The next attack by the Sith was on Coruscant. It seemed clear to the Jedi Knight that the Sith planned on defeating the Jedi as soon as possible, a sign of desperation after the Order had successfully defended all the key strategic points to the Republic from Sith invasion. Riko was met by the Dark Lord of the Sith himself virtually the moment the battle had begun. Riko and Syrus fought furiously, but the Jedi Master was not strong enough to defeat the Dark Lord. Knocked out, Syrus was distracted by the battle before he could deliver the final death blow. Upon waking up, Riko discovered the truth of Darth Syrus's origins. He was a Nosferatu, and the Dark Lord had unleashed his undead army upon the Jedi. All along, it had been a trap. Syrus had given them a false sense of security and the Order was now being stabbed in the back. Riko engaged the Dark Lord again, this time with better results, until another mysterious Sith, completely engulfed in rage and hatred, took Syrus's place. This was Darth Skurai, one of Syrus's Sith desciples. Riko defeated him as his Padawan, Ragab, defeated a Sith Lord named Darth Morgul. Despite these vicotries, defeat inevitable. Outnembered and overpowered by the undead, Riko barely escaped from the battle whilst saving Roth Mikhlan's life from the wrath of Darth Kross, leading the escape to Mon Calamari, HQ of the SKS.
A neverending process
After successfully moving the Jedi to the planet of Mon Calamari, Riko realized that to defeat the undead, Riko had to discover more secrets about the Force, and set out on a journey across the galaxy to learn and train. Riko crashed on the planet Endor, where he was met by the Ewok Jedi Master Logray. Riko trained in the ways of the Force under him, exploring the Force through the life of its forests and learning to open himself to its richness and depths. With Logray, Riko also learned that a Jedi's training never ends, realizing through him that the Force will never be fully understood and mastered until death, when he would become one with the Force forever. After months of trining, Riko was deemed ready to leave, and so the Jedi Knight
The Battle of Mon Calamari
Returning from his training on Endor, Riko came to discover the Jedi had established there for the time being until a new home could be found. Kento Tiin had been reported to have travelled to the planet of Taris with his Padawan Shaye Marren. This essentially left Riko in charge of the Jedi on Mon Calamari, given he was second to Master Tiin. Soon enough, however, the Sith had come to attack the Jedi there. Darth Kross, along with a new and mysterious Sith known as Darth Maknus, led the way into the battlefeld. Riko's aim was to keep the Sith at bay as long as possible while a Jedi Padawan, Gabriel Nefilius, also a Nosferatu, would travel to Thule to retreive the sword which would prove to be the end of the Nosferatu and hence Darth Syrus. The battle was a stalemate, and Syrus once again set his eye on Riko. This time, however, the Jedi proved more of a challenge thanks to his training, and was the first to force the Dark Lord to reveal his true form, the form of the Nosferatu. Meanwhile, Kross revealed that he had an agenda of his own and that he was not a Sith, but a Ninjaii, a mysterious faction of Force users. Together with the Bpfasshi Sith Lord, they planned to destroy Syrus and gain his power as their own. Only the sword that the Jedi Nefilius would bring would allow them to achieve victory. As Riko battled Syrus, he was troubled by the unfolding of such events, knowing that while they shared the same objective, the Jedi was faced by the choice of destroying the sword and preventing the rise of the Ninjaii or using it to destroy the Nosferatu and allow the Ninjaii to gain power. Either way, it seemed that this battle would not be a decisive one. In an unexpected move, however, Darth Maknus showed loyalty to the Nosferatu, stealing the sword from Gabriel and destroying it. Angered by this turn of events, Kross turned on Maknus and defeated him. The Ninjaii then set his eyes on Syrus as he fought alongside Riko and the newly arrived Logray against Syrus. Even teamed together, they could not hold Syrus down until Gabriel revealed his own Nosferatu form and sacrificed his life to kill Syrus. He had been successful, but Caleb Corvin was reborn and redeemed, pledging himself to the Light Side and the Jedi. The Nosferatu have been defeated, but the Jedi must now wage war against the Ninjaii and their leader, Darth Kross.
Revelations
The Jedi moved to Taris, knowing that the battle was far from over. Kross lived on, and he was now the Dark Lord. Upon arriving, Riko's former Padawan, Ragab Starseer, came to him with troubling news. After the battle of Mon Calamari, Ragab had travelled back to Coruscant to find the temple had been steepled with the darkness of the Sith. There, Ragab met with another mysterious Sith who also claimed to be a member of the Bpfasshi order. His name was Jorus Valok, and he was an exact replica of Riko. In other words, Riko and Jorus are twins. This was the first time ever Riko had received any information regarding his true origins, but recognized that while Jorus may have been powerful enough to force Ragab to run, Kross was the immediate threat. With the Jedi reunited, it was time to meet with the Jedi Council to decide on their next move.
The Illusion of Gaia
Reports arrived of a battallion of Shadow Troopers attacking Naboo. Riko travelled there to help in the battle when a messanger of a mysterious figure named Gaia contacted him, telling him to bring to her the spirit of the Dark Knight, Freedan. His spirit was trapped in his brother's soul, Jorus Valok. The messenger told him he was now aboard a super weapon travelling toward Mon Calamari. This weapon was called "The Mauser," more powerful and larger than the dreaded Death Star. If it reached its destination, it would destroy the SKS base there, and the Jedi would have virtually no military support. Following his senses, Riko left Naboo in search for his brother, and found the Mauser. Once aboard, Riko found more of his origins. Riko was born on the distant planet of Vjun and his true family name was Valok and not Fultyre. Riko explained it did not matter to him who he truly was. He grew up to become a Jedi, and Riko Fultyre is his name as a Jedi and the name he will always go by. The brothers fought, and with the help of Freedan, Riko defeated Jorus and destroyed the Mauser while rescuing his former student, Kalo Darken.
Riko brought Kalo to Bespin at his request for healing, and then travelled to Tatooine where he was supposed to reveal Gaia by bringing her Freedan's spirit, but Riko discovered it was all a lie. On Naboo, the messenger had told Riko that Gaia would bring back order and restore peace to the Galaxy as she aided the Jedi in their struggle to defeat the darkness of the worlds. Gaia would not bring peace and balance as the messenger had told him, but war and destruction. She was the darkness. Gaia fought Riko in a truly one-sided battle. Compared to Gaia, Riko was nothing but an ant until his own brother, Jorus, rescued him. The brothers, in an ironic twist of fate, fought together, but Jorus had made it clear the only reason he fought beside him was so that he could Riko himself. Together, they defeated Gaia and Jorus then killed the Jedi Master.
Rebirth
For many years, the Jedi Master had been thought dead until a chance to bring him back sprung from nowhere. Riko had learned in his training on Endor that only death would allow Riko to achieve complete union with the Force, but Riko never felt this union once dead. All he saw was an infinite blackness, as if the Force had refused him, would not allow him to rest in peace. Many years after his death, Riko's cousin, Larkos Fultyre, was discovered by Moroku Taiemo and taught in the ways of the Force. Called by the spirit of Gaia during the second battle of Coruscant, Larkos travelled to Tatooine to discover that Gaia arrived into the Galaxy to bring the balance. When this balance was tipped in favor of the Light, Gaia would arrive in her dark form and vice versa. This process of arrival would take several years. By the time she had last saw the balance was tipped toward the light, darkness grew by itself and she had arrived in her dark form too late. Darkness had become too powerful now, and Gaia did not possess her dark warrior form, but her creative light form. With Larkos's blood, Gaia recreated Riko, and the Jedi Master has been brought back to help the Jedi in their most desperate hour.
In preparation
Riko was brought back in time to witness the end of the Second Battle of Coruscant. There, Riko saw what had become of Soru Lomenak. He had turned to the Dark Side and became one of the Dark Lords, following Lorthias in his crazed path of doom. He has become Darth Narhalus, a True Sith, a merge between the Ninjaii and the Nosferatu. Rescuing Masters Sanariel Blueskies and Talau Firians from certain death, Riko brought them to Kashyyyk. On Kashyyyk, it was Riko who allowed the now redeemed Kross and Master Caleb to teach the Jedi how to counter the True Sith, and then travelled to Haruun Kal to teach his Padawan, Larkos, along with Roth Mikhlan and Danse Starlight, the secrets of Vaapad. Two weeks later, their training was complete. Riko had spent his time training Larkos, Roth and Danse contemplating on the war. Too many innocents had been involved and killed during his battles, and it was time to find a new home, one that would not cause the death of other innocent beings. When the training was finished, Riko travelled with Larkos and Danse to Rhen Var, where they found the ruins of a Jedi temple and a dweller named Thia Nu. They brought her into the Order to be taught by Master Taiemo.
The Final Showdown
Once on Coruscant, it seemed that the True Sith were bound to strike soon. Just as he had predicted, they had arrived, attacking in various positions to keep the Jedi busy all over the planet and draw them away from their main objective: The Church of Saint Lorthias. These other targets were the Senate, the Jedi Temple and the Military HQ. Riko made his way to the Senate with Danse to rescue the Supreme Chancellor. It seemed the Sith were about to kill him when he had arrived when a miracle happened. Riko never expected a ship known as the Millennium Falcon to come out of nowhere and rescue them. When the Chancellor was safe, Riko instructed Danse to protect him while he made his way to the Church. There, he discovered the unthinkable. Larkos had turned to the Dark Side. Wet with the blood of Darth Narhalus and standing over the departed remains of Moroku Taiemo, Larkos fought Riko, only to find the Jedi Master had not tought him every secret of Vaapad. Making a hasty retreat, Riko sensed that the battle was now over. Witnessing the departure of Lorthias, Riko knew he was watching the end of a war he'd been fighting since the very beginning. For the first time since his master's death, Riko had cried. However, he knows, deep inside, that this victory over Lorthias was just like the one over Syrus. The fighting would not stop there, for Larkos might soon become the newest threat to the Republic. Riko trusts in the Force, and knows that only the Force knows what is in store for the Republic and the Jedi in the later years.
