Holt sensed another Jedi headed his way as he chased down the Morequi through the woods. The young Jedi never expected his plan to keep them from the temple entirely, but a few more minutes would have been nice. They were getting too close to the temple. It was defended, sure enough, but the Feanturi would fare much better if as few Morequi as possible made it to the temple walls. Speed was needed most here. Holt concentrated all his energy on getting past the hoard barreling down the path through the woods. Holt leapt from tree to tree with more speed, but not fast enough to slow them down. He dropped to the earth and raced forward, his entire being focused on moving faster.
And that's exactly what happened. In almost a bolt of energy, the young Nelvaan rocketed forward, The Force aiding his muscles in his running. He quickly came upon the Morequi to his right, and even quicker passed them. The Temple was in full view now. The path broke off a hundre yards away to the fiel around the ruins. Holt stopped in place at this point and turned to face the rosh-mounted warriors still charging towards him. He lifted his saber and ignited the green blade.
Holt leapt to his left and cut through one of the trees, felling it instantly, and kicked the log forward, rolling it down the slight decline at his foes. He sliced through a few more trees, doing the same with each, until fifteen trees were rolling down at the Morequi. At that incline, and with riders, the Rosh had no way to jump over the logs, and so awkwardly stumbled over the logs, falling backwards onto their riders, creating an effective roadblock. Holt raced down the decline towards them. Sixty Morequi soldiers against a single Padawan. One really did have to feel pity. For the soldiers, that is...

((and this temple...like all the temples....are RUINS....they were destroyed long ago))
Talau stood swiftly, flipping backward just in time to miss the whip come lashing at her face. Turning slightly to the side, missing a well aimed kick to her stomach, she swung Talon in a wide circle making the Lortin move his hand holding the whip away from her, or risk loosing it. In the next swift movement Helluin caught his hand from above, severing it from the rest of his body and sending the whip to the ground. Kicking it away, she was caught off guard by another soldier who had come up behind her and gave her a kick to the back sending her stumbling forward into the Lortin's waiting hand, which wasted no time in finding her throat.
Deactivating her sabers, she reached behind her, grabbing her assaulter's head and neck, then flipping him over her shoulder with a great heave, landing on him hard in the gut. In a blur of motion, she was on her feet again, both blades activated, and killed the lortin, turning next on the several other soldiers that had decided the best idea was to surround her.

With the final audible thrum from the deep Chris felt, rather than saw, the first lines break through. Then nothing. The Force drew up in a breath and Chris saw the lives of his companions and the Fenturi soldiers hanging in the balance.
Then something broke the spell, it was Talau. He charged with her glowing sabers raised for the kill. His knees bent as he sucked in his energy and in a brilliant flare, his Emerald green saber roared to life. At that moment he was off, the gathered momentum in his legs hurling him toward the mounted enemy.
He charged the first rosh in what would seem a near suicidal attempt but in the last possible moment he dropped and leapt forward in a roll. He brought his blade up in an arch and slashed through the creature sending it to the ground. He doubted the rider was hurt but he would be dealt with later. Now he focused in the reigns of the next rosh in attack. Summoning the Force he tore the reins from the Morequi's control and yanked them down forcing the neck of the creature into the ground. The sudden stop sent the rider flying. Unfortunately for him into the waiting blade of the Jedi Master.
Chris never stopped moving, at this time the rider of the first Rosh had come to his senses and was on the attack. With his back faced to his assailant he leaned forward, dodging the arrack and came up with a jaw splitting kick to the face. Chris followed through with his saber through the knees of the man laying him on the ground in a crumpled state.
He turned to see yet another mounted soldier on the attack. Many had passed him at this point and he could feel Fenturi doing combat with them. But this one was headed straight toward him. With little time to respond he closed his eyes and felt the Force and listened for its call. Immediately he stretched his hands out and two good sized boulders hurled at the riders head. Needless to say the rocks held and the man's skull did not. Then Chris turned up and severed the creatures head from the remaining body. It soon joined its master on the ground.
He exhaled for the first time since the battle begun. They had survived the first attack. Surely more were to follow and the soldiers were locked in combat. But what mattered was that they were still living to strike another enemy down. His eyes darted to Talau who was surrounded, he doubted she had needed the help but still, he moved to provide support to his former student. After all, two Jedi were better than one.

Holt leapt upon the Morequi. It as not until he first made contact with the first soldier's armor that he ignited his saber. He quickly cut through the nearest three before the others took notice of the boy who was killing them. The soldiers, disoriented, unorganized, and, thanks again to Holt, leaderless, erupted into a mad frenzy of metal and flesh. These mad warriors, controlled by the very mob mentality they were a part of, fell inwards upon Holt.
The youth lowered himself to the ground as he cut a swath through the legs of his attackers, quickly diving into the collapsing group of amputees and, to those too preoccupied with the loss of their own legs, dissappeared. Holt had been trained to fight the garganutan Horaz beast on Nelvaan as well as the swarming multiudes of the Beshou, but these soldiers had on him size, numbers, and their own unpredictability. This was a fight Holt would not survive if it continued. And so the youth left the soldiers to their mad brawl and quickly escaped towards the temple.

Without hardly realising it Talau brought the force into her being, nearly pulling it from the morequi around her. Focusing on only one thing....escape from the cricle of enemies....she felt the force nearly explode from every pore of her body, sending the morequi around her reeling backward, falling over one another. Blinking slightly at the effect, she chuckled and shook her head, turning to Chris, who had just come up to her.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]I always was good at a force push...[/glow] She said with a little smile, before her eyes caught on Keta not far away, and who was not doing so well in her situation. With a swift tug at Chris' sleeve, she ran to help. Why poor Keta was outnumbered nearly 15 to one, she wasn't sure, but she didn't like the feeling of it....it smelled of a trap.
No! Don't help me! It's... Keta broke off her statement to duck an oncoming attack, her double bladed saber pushing up and back into the gut of her attacker....though Talau didn't hear more than 'help me' through the noise of the battle.
In a whirl of color and robes Talau cut down three of the attacking Morequi, who had been to slow to realise she was there. Too bad for them. Over the rise of the small hill they fought on at the moment, there was a thundering crack, and several of the rocks at the top of it were shaken loose.... Keta and Talau only barely had time to look up before they were alone on the side of the hill, the morequi seeming to melt away in to other parts of the battle.
Morheru Tilias snarled angrily as he smiled...those two feanturi had no chance to react to the trap....or so he thought. Watching the boulders slow he nearly cursed out loud as the two were able to get away. He glanced about the battlefield. Somehow....SOMEHOW.....those ignorant little fools were winning!.....HOW?!.....He grimmaced at the thought of Draga's laughter as he pointed out to the other Morheru that he'd been right, and that HE....Tilias...had been wrong!.....No. He couldn't stand for that. If.....just if that leader of theirs....the Firians witch....were killed.....yes, the whole thing would fall apart at the seams.
Morheru? What do you wish us to do? We are being defeated by these.....these feanturi....one of his officers growled from behind him.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Keep fighting. I will deal with the source of the problem.[/glow] He snarled in return, tossing his grey and black robes to his officer, and walking down from his ventage point.
[glow=yellow,2,300]And get me a rosh![/glow] He shouted over his shoulder angrily.

((Sorry, went home to see the folks ^_^))
From his vantage point Latus surveyed the battle around him. His aim had been quite good, however he was focussed on changing clips which was as time consuming as it was confusing. Soon he had the relic of a rifle jammed beyond repair, growling he snatched his datapad and pulled open the hatch that led down to the battlefield. Before he closed the hatch he witnessed Talau, Chris, and Keta caught in a hail of rocks from the top of the embankment they were fighting on.
Clevar Tilias, but not clever enough.
In a matter of moments he was crossing the line of trees that seperated him from his sister and the battle. He had sprinted past ranks of Feanturi soldiers in battle with the morequi and had taken several down with a few well placed laser blasts. Silbernes wasn't activated yet but Solution was seeing some well deserved action. Without hesitating Latus continued his pace and was soon in view of his sister. Talau was in no way incapable of protecting herself, however he felt a growing dread, a dark presence emenating from the force as he worked his way farther up the side of the hill until he stood before the Masters.
I hope im not late for the party. I heard they were serving drinks.

[glow=9999ff,2,300]Drinks? Where? I could use one about now....[/glow] She said, half seriously.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Thank you for the help brother.....those boulders nearly got....us....[/glow]
She said, before turning in what seemed to her like slow motion. She glanced up at the outcropping of rocks she'd guessed Tilias had been watching from, but she didn't see his great blackness among the smaller red auras of his commanders.
Without a second thought, reality seemed to snap back into place, and time returned to it's former aspect. She glanced around at the battle...they were winning....this was good....and bad.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Lat, Keta....Go with Chris. Help him....[/glow]
She said simplye before darting over the hill in a blur of motion.

Jenno ranthrough the undergrowth, the trees stood around him and the smell of burnt flesh was thcik on the air. On his pursuit of the young Jedi he stumbled upon three morequi. They turned and Jenno smiled. He held Green Dragon and Blue Phoenix in his hands, they were not yet ignited, they sat dorment, waiting for their moment.
The man in the cntre turned to face him, not to o long after did the others. The glint off their weapons burst into Jenno's eye, but he didn't blink. It did not take long until the look of shcok on the Morewui's faces turned to one of unsurpassed glee. Jenno felt them, a large group, they moved in around him. Some on foot, others across the trees. He stood there, looking around him as the troops came to stop, they had been planning this, but he suspected that they were hoping to catch someone far more valuable.
But still, Jenno was surrounded, and he coudln't get out. He couldn't snse their numbers, but it was many. He would have to make a break for it. His feet moved out into a stance but he kept his sabers withdrawn. He was waiting for one of them to make the first move. And they did.
From behind a tall, veteran looking Morequi in moved in for a strike. Quick on his feet, Jenno flipped over and placed his hand atop the Morequi's head before pushing off. The movement sent his skull cracking down into his vertebrae, killing him instantly. Blood dripped from his mouth as he slowly fell to the ground. Using his momentum, Jenno had propelled himself into the enemies behind him, sending them into confussion. In a balze he ignited both Green Dragon and Blue Phoenix. There was no mercy to give as he cut down his opponents with lighting quick strikes and it seemed like the morequi were sometimes fighting themselves.
He ducked below an attack from behind and the blad hit the morequi that stood before him and so Jenno lashed out to his right, striking through the stomach of a confused man who quickly fell.
Jenno cut his way through the gruop, his skills were unparralleled and he managed not to take a hit. The force was radiating from his body, allowing him to move quicker than before, the boudaries in his mind had expanded, leaving him more room to see the force, it gave him strength. And it told him what he had to do.
And so he ran, leaving the morequi in confusion. He sprinted hard, leaping over branches and at times ducking to avoid blaster fire. By this time Green Dragon and Blue Phoenix were waiting, on the belt of their master.
Soon Jenno reached the temple ruins and quickly he headed to the centre, where he had sat earlier. The fenturi looked at him in puzzlement. He ignored their looks and marched into the centre where he sat down, crossed his legs and closed his eyes. He started his meditation.

Holt lumbered out of the woods, his mission to stop the Morequi from reaching the temple a failure. He saw already many soldiers crawling out of the trees and towards the garrisonned feanturi, and could hear the marching of the reogranized force behind him.
The tired youth raced towards the temple to find what appeared to be another Jedi. Masters Crane and Firians had mentioned that there would be more.
[glow=white,2,300]"They're here!"[/glow]
The youth shouted to all those whoo were not already aware, stopping only to catch his breath before turning around, reigniting his lightsaber, and charging off towards the garissons to add his support.
(Yeah, it's weak. But somebody needed to keep this alive.)

(okay, this is battle meditation post 2/3, it's a short one, but I need it to start seeming more desperate. What, it has to be dramatic doesn't it .) Jenno sat amongst the ruins, the force belowing around him. He satwith his eyes closed and his legs crossed. During meditation, a Jedi's breathing decreases dramatically, like they were ina deep slumber. However, that was no comparioson to Jenno's breathing, he was further, deeper in the force than any normal meditation would allow a Jedi to go. Any looker on would believe he was dead as his breaths stretched further apart, until they were seemingly none existant. As he sat there, Jenno pushed beyond the mental and physical boundaries, stretching throughout the force, deeper than he had ever gone. No longer mentally or physically confined to his own body, Jenno reached out. He could feel... everybody. He could feel everymoment, every action, every thought. But he was here on an important mission and he began to search for them. And soon, he could feel them too, the heart of every man, woman and child. He had made the first step, his trainning had been a succes. Jenno had made the connection.

Aunna dashed up and over the hill swiftly, disappearing from sight in the blurs of color that were the sabers and light-whips, red tipped light spears, and blazing arrows and blastor bolts. Moving almost gracefully across the battlefield, she seemed to pass through all manner of fighting without harm, or even a second thought.....and those who watched her might have wondered for a moment if she was deserting the battle, as she ran off to the farthest edges of it. Only then would they have seen the large chestnut and black rosh approaching at full speed from the direction of the forests to the north west. Morheru Tilias thundered along the line of the forest until he saw the edge of the battle raging before him. It was then that he saw the woman who he hated most in this life.....Talau Firians.
He could all but feel her name being chanted by the Winds that rushed past him, almost as if...as she ran toward him, she was able to push the winds around her into a flurry of turbulent gusts that threatened to unseat him.
He chuckled at that thought, and drew off his belt a long black metal handle, much like that of a lightsaber, only, as he activated it, the blood red and orange of it erupted into tongs of whiplike color.

Tal didn't at all like the thought of what was going to be facing her in the next few minutes, but what else could she do? Strike now, and strike the heart...faulter now, and everything they had all fought for could be in vain.
She could not faulter.
She would not.
With a new burst of energy she ducked the first blow of the whip, pulling Helluin to her hand in a sweeping motion, the blue and silver blade blazing to life and humming loudly as it blocked a second attack from the Morheru's whip which came snapping back at her.
[glow=red,2,300]You're good Firians, but not good enough to live![/glow]
Growled a deep voice from above her as she ducked around the rosh, which passed her as a dark blur of motion. She didn't waste time on words as she focused on unseating her adversary...she had a chance if he were on foot, but she would die sooner than later if he remained mounted. Thankful for her years of training with a saber, the problem was swiftly solved as the rosh crumpled beneith it's rider with a shrill neigh.
((gar! i can't think....i'm trying..honest, but with the pain and meds makin me tired i can't get a thought straight....))

((okay....screw it, Sana isn't here, and Lat is busy, so this is what was SUPPOSED to happen....
Tilias and Talau battle it out. The other Morequi are being defeated by the Feanturi, who are using guerrilla warfare. Talau manages to kill Tilias, but is nearly killed herself. Sana and Latus find Tal nearly dead on the hill they were fighting on. It becomes obvious that Tilias wasn't really dead, and Sana kills him.
They take Tal back to the camp where she nearly dies, but doesn't....the feanturi send the morequi on the run, and because of this the tables turn. The people of Rilia start helping the feanturi more and more, and....blah blah blah.....the rest happens during the time jump.))

As Kaja stepped onto the battlefield he saw many bodies lying on the ground, dead. He wandered if Tal or any of the others had survived.
[glow=blue,2,300]Why am I always late[/glow]? he asked himself.
semsing that none of them were there, he decided to go back to the temple.
[glow=blue,2,300]I'm sorry[/glow].
