((Think Yoda's outpost in RotS))
IC: Sanariel Blueskies walked up the lengthy woodmake steps and climbed the many vines. He stood and saluted the Wookie guards at the entrance, a strange thing for a Jedi Librarian to do but it WAS a time of war. He apparently was one of the first to arrive so he took his seat and laid beside him some materials he had brought with him from the Archives: research on the Ninjaii, legends of immortal darksiders, and more legends and folklore dealing with Sith Lordship and power. He had, to say the least, not an enjoyable time reading through these holochrons and thought some of it quite disturbing. He plopped down in his cinnnamon robes and closed his eyes. He wondered on the future of the Order and of the Republic. He then opened hsi eyes to notice he was exactly where he had been in the last Council meeting - at about the 4 o'clock spot (if Kento were considered 12) right beside Moroku's usual position. He chuckled a little bit at this strange habit. Old habits do really die hard. He heard and felt some activity as he looked to the entrance for the next guests...

It seemed to be a pure coincidence for Sanariel to see Moroku entering after him once he had taken his seat. He had only been thinking about him seconds ago, and there he was. His old Master. Moroku smiled at Sanariel, glad to see him there. He was the first Jedi to arrive and, looking at the circular formation of the rendezvous, the Jedi Master couldn't help but notice the resemblence to the Jedi Council room Moroku had grown accustomed to on Taris and later on Coruscant. The only difference was that the Supreme Chancellor was sitting where the gap in the circle would have been. Moroku nodded at the wookiees and bowed low in front to upreme Chancellor Viskois Rendor. Both men came from the same planet: Dantooine. Moroku wouldn't be surprised if they agreed on many points. Moroku took his seat next to Sanariel.
Riko was the next to enter the rendezvous point. He nodded to the wookiee guards and bowed to the Supreme Chancellor just as Moroku had done moments before him. Riko also noticed the similarity between here and the Jedi Council room he had known on Coruscant, back in his previous days. However, the Supreme Chancellor was not the one Riko had known from back then. Apparently, new leadership had been elected, and Riko sensed that this new leader also wanted to help the Jedi in any way he could. Perhaps he would listen to Kross not as an enemy, but as a man greeting another man seeking redemption. Kross was essentially trying to help the Jedi in any way he could. Riko then took his seat next to where Kento's would have been, just as it always had been before the war. At last, Riko would meet Kento Tiin, his old friend.

As Senator of Dantooine, Rendor was accustomed to meeting figures of high renown and as acting Chancellor of the Republic the figures of authority had only increase in number. But no meeting with delegates of the state of the Senate would have prepared him for the feeling that massed in this room. Even though he could not touch the Force he could feel a deeper connection within them. It amazed him and humbled him. In most cases he would offer a position to a senator to listen in on his meetings, now he felt the same way. He felt inferior to the wisdom of the Masters that surrounded him. Until the time when the Masters would begin their meeting, he sat back in his dark blue robes waiting for the meeting to start.

OOC: I seemed to have missed something...Why is the senator here again?
IC: Kross walked behind Riko,as the two made there way through the underground bunker and above ground. There they walked past many Jedi, and Wookie soldiers, all whom seemed to glare at Kross. Kross simply kept his head down, not returning any of the looks. Finally they reached the spot where the council meeting was to be held. Kross waited for Riko to pick a seat before sitting down himself. As Kross sat down,a murmur rose up from the crowd gathered around the council chamber. Never before had a Sith Lord sat at the council simply because he offered a "truce". Of course desperate times call for desperate measures.
Kross leaned over and whispered to Riko.
[glow=white,2,300][shadow=dark,left,300]How does Kento feel about me being here? [/glow][/shadow]
Kross waited for Riko's reply just as the worst possible thing that could happened, did.
"Ha! Look at these fools, they take so long to do anthing! While the galaxy crumbles about them, they discuss what to do next."
Kross ignored the voice, hoping if he didnt answer him,he would simply go away...

(OOC: Sorry I didn't post yesterday, guys. Got a new video card, so I can finally play Knights of the Old Republic II... got caught up in that, powered through the game once already. Gonna do dark side next... take it a little slower too. BTW... Darth Treya = best Sith Lord ever. anyway, here's my post:)
Commander Ryyk sighed. The Chancellor had insisted on going to the meeting without guards. Imbicillic. Ah well. What can you do? Instead, he stationed a section of the 61st Security Legion around the building where the meeting was being held.
Ushii had felt a summons, a tug in the Force that told him to be here. Entering the room, he nodded to the Wookiees, then stepped through, nodding to those already present, and giving a deeper, more formal bow to the Chancellor.
"Good to see you again, Sir."
Sliding into a place a little behind Sana, Ushii leaned forward to whisper in his Master's ear.
"Good to see you, Master. With the Chancellor and the erstwhile Dark Lord here, I see this is no ordinary Council meeting. I take it we're to discuss the Sith threat?"

Riko listened to Kross's whisper as he jestured to take a seat next to him. It was true. Never before had a Sith Lord presented himself to sit in the Council, let alone a Ninjaii, but the rest of the Jedi who were sitting around the meeting rendezvous would understand why Riko trusted Kross to keep his word. Then, there was Kento. Riko was sure he'd see beyond Kross's past and look at his aims now.
[glow=blue,2,000]I don't know, but I suggest that before you explain how to counter the Sith Lords, you should explain why you have decided to offer a truce with us. Perhaps they will see that you have changed just as I have seen it.[/glow]
Riko understood all too well that to the eyes of other Jedi, Kross's presence here was like a wolf among a pack of dogs. By no means did he look like the sort of person one would find here in friendly territory. Sanariel had understood already, and Moroku would as well. Moroku had trained Sanariel, and much of what Sanariel thought was thanks to the lightsaber instructor of the Temple. Moroku would understand. Then, there was the question of Kento, but once Kross explained why he would offer a truce, everyone would understand as well. Riko smiled as he gestured once more for Kross to take a seat next to him.

(("Much of what Sanariel thought was thanks to the lightsaber instructor"...? What? Sana was constantly studying and learning his entire life. He received one of the best education experiences in the galaxy. Maybe if you worded that different...))
IC: Sana leaned back to speak to Ushii and clasped his old friend's hand with a sturdy grip. He let go and spoke up to his old padawan.
[glow=blue,2,300]It is wonderful to see you too my old friend. Please, we are as brothers now, call me Sana if you wish. As for the situation - yes. Kross has undergone a change of heart, much to the positive, and seeks a truce with the Jedi in order to help us overcome these gods among mortals called the Nosferatu. I believe in his sincerity but it is up to you my good friend to make up your own mind.[/glow]
Sana noticed Talau walk in the room with her head held low. He hoped she didn't still feel as though she did not belong. He called for her to sit on his left side (Moroku on his right).
[glow=blue,2,300]Mastress Firians, it would be kind of you to accept this spot. Sometimes these older folk just go way over my head and I am left to the lackluster comfort of my own youth.[/glow]
He laughed a bit waiting for her to come over and still in conversation with Ushii.

Talau had been in the command center not far off when she felt a slight pull in the force....the meeting was going to start soon....should she go? She was a master after all....but.....
You're fooling yourself girl....you've not been a member of the council, nor are you one now.....but.....perhaps I should go, just to see what is going on.... she thought, as the pull grew stronger.
She walked into the room a few minutes later, but merely stood in the background, her hood still covering her exaustion. She had no intention of intruding on the council, nor even remarking....she wasn't on the council after all....but at least she would have some idea as to what was going on.

OOC: A pointer to all of you. You weren't called by the Force. You were called by Moroku's comlink.

((when did THIS happen?....*decides to look for that point later*))
Talau looked up at the sound of her name and listened to what Sana said. Though she smiled a bit she didn't feel right in being here....not after her last confrontation with the council....should someone who has been punished even be alowed to LISTEN IN on the council?....nvermind SIT IN on it.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]I...I shouldn't. I really shouldn't even be here.[/glow]she thought to him.

Sana smiled a bit at her and then thought a serious thought.
You deserve to be here just as much as any. If you will not do it for yourself then do it for me. I will need your witness to some points I hope to make. Please Tal, for me?
He patted his hand on the seat and showed a mock puppy face to hyperbolize his request.

Relenting, she walked over and nodded at Moroku, then Ushii, and sat down easily in the chair Sana had suggested.
She nodded once in acknowledgement to each of those in the room in turn, then merely gazed off into the distance, waiting for the meeting to start, and wondering just what Sana needed her as a witness for.

Roth walked briskly to the council chambers. He had been invited to sit in on the meeting with the Chancellor. Roth had probably been a full fledged Jedi for longer than many had even been associated with the order, but because he had never fully trained a padawan he was still considered a Knight and therefore was not elegible for a seat on the council. Not mention to many in the order still considered him a rogue Jedi.
He entered the chamber and bowed. [glow=teal,2,300]I apologize for my tardiness. I had an urgent matter to attend to.[/glow]
He picked an empty seat across from Master Blueskies and next to Ushii. He scanned through the crowd and spotted several Jedi Masters, Sana, Talau, Moroku, then his gaze stopped on Kross. Roth with superior strength of will kept his emotions in check. He continued searching around the room.....
......and spotted Master Fultyre. Wasn't the famed Master supposed to be dead? Will then again so was Kross. The last time Roth had seen him was on Coruscant during the first sith invasion and then again briefly on Mon Calamari after his fight with the Sith Lord. His shoulder still ached when he thought about it.
He ignored the feeling and leaned back in his chair taking on a contemplative look. If he ever wanted to truly be on this council he needed to show patience. All would be revealed in time.

Jasufar the wookie master greeted his wookie bretherin outside the door and asked them to infrorm him on the proceedings. All was going well. "Good" he thought "Finally we can discuss the jedi's position in this war"
At first he felt quite reluctant to pace in and take part in the council meeting but he was a master even if the council had forgotten about him he still felt that the jedi needed as much support as they could get. However, in the times to come he would eventually die due to his age, his fingers could no longer support the hilt of a lightsaber nor grasp the handel of a rifle but he still had the force and his opinion the best weapons a jedi could ask for. He walked in slowly with his cane gripped tightly in his right hand and with his left hand crossed behind his back. Through narrowed eyes he observed the members who were part taking in the meeting and bowed to them all before bowing even lower to the seated Chancellor. He rose back to his full stature and limped over to the seat next to Roth. He relaxed as he planted himself on the cushioned seat, he placed his cane next to the arm of the chair and alined his arms with those of the chair. Now only Kento was to arrive before they could commence.

Talau looked up from under her hood as Roth walked in, and nodded to him.
She was plesently surprised when a Jedi master, who was also a wookie, entered the room. She had no idea who he was, save by name alone....she was after all only 20, and rather bad at remembering names.
She smiled and nodded in the direction of the new comer...Master Jasufar was it? Yes...that sounded right.

Sana sat and stumbled through a bag. He looked as if he were back on Naboo preparing for an exam his mentors would occasionally (and on occasion - without warning) give him. They had a knack for figuring out when Sana (or nerf-herder, as his mentor and older brother figure Master Blano Machau, a ladies man of sorts, had called him playfully more than once) had been slacking in his studies. He learned to not let his intellectual guard down and to be prepared at all times. Hence, he was prepared for this inevitable meeting he had guessed the Council would carry since a little before the attack. He did not have much on the Nosferatu and the Ninjaii weren't exactly on local tabloids. The groups were extremely obscure and required a great deal of cooperative research to find a scrap on them - Which is what Sana had: a scrap.
The Jedi was more interested in what Kross was going to propose to the Council and their response. He had guessed that Riko was not fully against the idea, considering Kross didn't come to the Council in chains or a body bag. Sana scratched his chin and turned to Talau and patted her on the hand.
[glow=blue,2,300]No worries my friend. This will be a meeting you shall not want to miss.[/glow]
He Force thought to her on a frequency they secretly spoke on: How do you believe Kross' proposal will go with the Council?

((we sound like a walkie-talkie set!))
I'm not sure....Moroku might be alright with it...Jasufar, I've no idea...Roth....at the moment Roth would rather see kross in chains or worse than even listen to him logically....Kento is another wild card....and I think Riko might go for it. she thought back to him, turning just enough to look at him. As the light fell across her eyes she winced a bit, but showed no other sign that she was starting to feel the lack of physical rest.

Ushii nodded thoughtfully.
"Alright... Sana," It was hard for him to call his former Master by his first name, but it came out, "I spent some time talking to the Chancellor on the way here. Do you think that the Jedi will accept his proposal? Do you think we will be called upon to lead clone troops once again?"

Sana thought to her: I feel about the same. I suppose only time will tell... You should sleep after this Tal, you need to take it easy on yourself. I worry sometimes... The Jedi Master looked at her thoughtfully as if visually expressing his concern.
He glanced back to Ushii and answered him.
[glow=blue,2,300]I believe the focus of our attack will lie in the Nosferatu and the Dark Lords - taking them out one by one.[/glow]
The Jedi's eyes seemed to gleam a bit of icy blue as if he were anticipating this future engagement...
[glow=blue,2,300]Though I do not believe for a moment we would leave ourselves so open and vulnerable as to withdraw our clone attacks. I believe it will be a mixture of the two...[/glow]
