Soonoba sat on his repulsor as he watched the show Charmed Life. He detested it immensely but the man got so much good information, and like any good Hutt would do also, distorts it for his own means, but he usually had good sources. His office was far too small for him and his size but his Boss always made sure Soonoba was made to realize he was worthless, and never his choice for the position. The smells were not so bad though coming from the chemicals being made in the plant which is why he tolerated it to begin with.
As he watched he coughed out loud as the clip was shown. Soonoba knew immediately where that was. Coruscant was right indeed and the skyline was right for his best spy to be working in right now. Continuing to watch as the person was shot and killed and the implications of him being a Jedi made him furious.
WHY THAT MONGREL. And threw his dessert into the wall and the tiny fish made a loud thud hitting the duracrete.
It was obvious to him that his spy had done his work and gotten the data he needed to find out who this spy was in the Ord Mantel organization. Also proved that he was not going to receive it either. Soonoba didn’t mind having a spy here but the fact was he had to know who it was before he could do something, or rather report it to his boss anyways.
Soonoba had been given the task of finding the mole and simply reporting it to the Boss. Problem was whoever it was had to be very well connected here to hide for this long and cause enough problems to arouse suspicion.
HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO Sonnoba bellowed out a huge laugh as the riots played across the screen. Although it was never good that the Network suffered like this, but it also meant at this rate a planet boss may be opening soon. Turning off the holoscreen since he didn’t care about the rest he turned to his datapad and wondered how so many spies could be so easily found out. This one I sent myself by word of mouth and no other means.
Scans of the room were always negative even when people were speaking, just case they were sneaky enough to sneak a device that turns on when people speak. So punching some numbers into the datapad restricted the number of people on the list to 54. So it was down to 54 from the original 1578 he had a month ago. Not bad considering the problem at hand.
Everything from smugglers being caught in worlds that didn’t allow the cargo on board, to Chemical factories suddenly losing profits, whole areas with good slaves suddenly freed by some force of sentient, or and this really and Soonoba mad, was the lose of funds out of secret accounts. Everything said it was more then one person, but it wasn’t possible in his mind. Everything was telling him it was one person trying to make it appear as two. Using his comlinks he called to his aid who would do everything asked of him without hesitation. And having a good aid was crucial, not to mention who understood Huttese as Sien did.
Sien, get me a slicer and the best we have got NOW.
