Name: Nacen Starkiller
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Birth place: Taris
Profession: Bounty Hunter
Appearance:
He has black, spiky hair and a small goatee. He wears a special ribbed jacket which provides good protection from physical attacks. He has fingerless gloves for both slight protection and ease of movement. He wears a pistol holster around him, which holds his personal blaster pistol. He wears sturdy military grade trousers and hard-wearing grip sole combat boots, which offered great durability in the field.
Bio:
Nacen was born on the upper city part of Taris. He lived with his mother and father. His mother was a housewife while his father was a hugely successful droid salesman. His early child life was a secure one. They lived in comfort in the upper city apartments with little to worry about. However, Nacen’s father went bankrupt after he was sued for selling illegal enhancements on his droids. After that, they were all shifted into the lower city.
Life in the lower city was tough for Nacen and his family. They struggled to make money as Nacen’s father tried to make a living out of selling illegal merchandise. He made several deals with the local gangs in order to make large amounts of money but it never worked out. Things would constantly get stolen from their apartment in the lower city by the local gangs and nobody around was willing to help.
After a while, Nacen’s parents, as selfish as they were, sold Nacen into slavery for a large amount of money. Nacen now worked as a slave for a Tarisian noble. After a year of working as his slave, Nacen had enough and escaped by putting some noxious chemicals into his owner's food, killing him. He ran away and went back into the lower cities. He spent weeks roaming the lower cities on his own.
Eventually, he was found by a man called Odin Lowe, an ex-republic solider who was now a bounty hunter. Lowe took the boy to his hideout and offered him food and shelter. Eventually, Lowe started teaching the boy a set of diverse skills, such as how to use a blaster pistol, how to operate and repair a speeder or a starship, how to fight in close combat, the ins-and-outs of gambling, forgery, and smuggling and most importantly, how to survive on his own. He became the boy’s mentor, and they lived together while he taught him more and more skills.
Years later, the two became a formidable bounty hunting duo, scouting the planet performing bounty after bounty. Although Nacen would only assist Lowe in performing is bounties, never actually killing anyone, he was still a considerable amount of help and started to gain a friendship with Lowe. They would share the bounty money that they earned, and made quite a good living.
All was going well, until one day, they received a bounty to hunt down and kill a dangerous assassin, notorious for her skill and ruthlessness, not to mention the large number of kills to her name. She was wanted both by the republic and by the local gangs and authorities, but nobody has ever been successful in killing her. She was so dangerous, that nobody even wanted her alive, only dead. However, Lowe and his new partner were determined that they could gun this assassin down.
They eventually found the assassin, and Lowe entered a vicious gunfight with her. Nacen assisted him by acting as a spotter, telling Lowe where she was hiding. They almost managed to kill her until she managed to stun Lowe by laying a flash mine in his path. He stood there unable to see or hear anything until the assassin shot him in the chest, fatally wounding him. She then walked away, unaware of Nacen stood behind her.
Nacen ran over to Lowe. He was badly wounded and was not going to make it. Lowe’s final request to Nacen was to pick up his blaster, and shoot the assassin while she had her back to him. Nacen did as he asked. He picked up the gun and for the first time in his life, Nacen was about to take somebody’s life. He shot her. He hit her dead centre in her spine, just as Lowe taught him to. The assassin was dead. As Nacen shot her, it churned his stomach slightly; however Lowe simply said that it was natural for someone who had never killed before and that he’d get used to it with time. He praised Nacen and his final words to him were: ‘Don’t ever become tied to anyone. Be loyal only to yourself kid. All other loyalties are for rent, sale or profit.’ With those words, he died.
Nacen went to the bounty office and collected the large sum of money for the killing of this dangerous assassin. With Lowe’s words etched in his head, he no longer felt like he had to be tied to anyone. He would work alone as a bounty hunter, though he would never forget his old mentor, the only true father and friend he ever really had. He used the money to buy a ship. He named it the ‘Lowe’ (pronounced ‘ow’ (how, bow, cow, you get the idea lol.)), in honor of his fallen companion. He took his new ship and he left the planet, never to return, unless there was a worthy bounty posted there of course....
Personality/Qualities:
Nacen was a very independent man. He preferred to work on his own in his line of work, taking his old mentor’s advice at heart. Outside of line of work he was generally a very easy going, cool headed man, though he tended to be rather sarcastic and cynical at times. He faced the galaxy with a sense of dismissive apathy. He often displayed a laid back attitude and an unwillingness to accept or take-on positions of responsibility, a result of him always operating independently.
Despite this, Nacen was a man who refused to give up, often standing to rejoin a fight, even when wounded. He furthermore relied on his gut instincts to see him through. These instincts turned out to be surprisingly reliable though they could often get him into serious trouble. He wasn’t necessarily a good-natured man, though he was an honorable one.
His hobbies included gambling, drinking and playing games such as Pazaak. As a bounty hunter he showed little fear. He relied more on stealth and cunning rather than violently killing/capturing his targets in public. He had a knack at tracking people down and stalking them. He was also highly accomplished at unarmed close-combat and would often mix this with his ability in stealth and knife combat.
Weapons/Equipment:
Blaster pistol: Nacen’s personal blaster pistol. It previously belonged to his old mentor, Odin Lowe. He molded the handle so that it fits in his hand while simultaneously holding the knife in the same hand.

Combat Knife: A combat knife which Nacen uses in close combat. He often uses a combination of the pistol and the knife when hunting, so he can switch rapidly between both pistol and knife combat. It also offers an ‘interestingly’ new way of interrogating on-the-spot.
