Name: Regnier of Clan Tagren
Race: Mandalorian/Human
Age: 49 (Mandalorians have been noted to live hundreds of years due to their extensive physical augmentation; 49 is closer to what most humans would consider 25 or 30, though he physically looks somewhere between the two, say and aged 40)
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 284lbs
Appearance: Regnier is, basically, solid muscle, and alot of it. Combat training started at under fourteen, which continued for most of his life, and actual combat has scarred his body since youth, leading to a vast array of scars, ranging from nicks and cuts to blaster wounds, vibroblades and shrapnel, even to a lightsaber scar that runs from his right shoulder to his right hip, an injury that severred his spine. He has shoulder-length gray hair, emerald eyes, is somewhat pale from his constantly being in armor, and perpetually has a tired look about him.
Birth place: Mandalore
Profession: Mercenary
Bio: In a time that Mandalorians were commonly unknown, small and hidden, scattered, Mandalore was one of the only planets to hold a true Clan. Clan Tagren. Albeit small, numbering only six, the clan existed as just that. They held true to the six tenants, trained in the art of war since youth, and kept eachother strong. Regnier was the eldest of four, two brothers and two sisters, their parents compromising the other two. All four children were gruelingly trained, mentally conditioned, and physically augmented, recieving nueral blockers to prevent mental persausion, which also made it incredibly difficult for mind reading and tricks to succeed, as well as regenerative, reflex and strength enhancing, and poison-resistance implants. As with all nomads, however, some moved around. The brothers, specifically. At twenty and nineteen, the two brothers left the planet, a decision blessed by their father, and saw the galaxy. It wasn't long until they became mercenaries, taking on the most dangerous missions available, hunting lethal bounties, and generally making a name for themselves.
Several years into their career, the two were approached by a man who had been crossed by a Jedi Knight, and wanted her dead. Not really knowing anything about Jedi, the two accepted the job and went hunting. The two Mandalorian and the Jedi, after three days of leading eachother around in circles through the streets of Manaan, met in a confrontation. The brothers attacked viciously, something that slightly dismayed the Jedi when she realized that her lightsaber was almost innefectual against their Neo-Crusader armor. The tide turned on the young Mandalorians as the Jedi's skill and command of the Force proved superior. Bralor, the younger, fell to the Jedi's saber, though still lived. In an effort to get in between the Jedi and his kin, Regnier physically tackled the Jedi mid-swing, a manuever that proved nearly lethal, as he at the time was only wearing a light suit under civilian clothing. Proving more agile, the Jedi got behind him, found an opening in his scout's armor, and opened him shoulder to hip, severing his spine. The sight of seeing his brother fall sent Bralor into a blind fury; he shot forward and caught the Jedi in a shoulder charge that cracked bone and sent both careening over the side of the city and into the vast ocean. The Mandalorian locked the Jedi in a vice-like grip, dragging her to the bottom with him, drowning her while he breathed freely from his armor's oxygen supply a mere minute before he died of his injuries. Neither body was ever found. Regnier does not harbor resent or hate towards the Jedi, however, instead he respects them.
It was a full year before Regnier recovered enough to even run, and another two months before he was allowed to leave on his own. After contacting his family, he learned that the elder of the sisters had been killed in a dogfight, his father had died of a deadly virus, and his mother was days away from the same fate. He rejoined his sister, his mother dying before he completed the journey, and set out to rebuild the Clan, protecting eachother with their lives. The sister, Namara, married a fellow Mandalorian at the age of twenty-three, when Regnier was twenty-six, and the eldest of the clan followed suit by marrying a native of Haruun Kal. It was made clear from the start that any children would be raised first and foremost as Mandalorians, though Regnier would allow their Korunnai heritage to be learned to a point. This was agreed, and Nasem, his wife, slowly started to accept the Mandalorian ways herself.
At thirty, Nasem was murdered in a sort of home invasion gone wrong, which resulted in the excruciatingly painful deaths of all the thieves involved at the Mandalorian warrior's hands. Before she died, she begged him to promise to protect her family, but he said he would only bring them more harm than good. Overcome with his grief, Regnier stripped himself of his Mandalorian Heavy Assault armor and exiled himself from the Mandalorian ways for failing one of the six tenants. He disappeared for over a year, surfacing at thirty-three in an organization known as the Crimson Moon Mercenaries. From his life-long training and combat experience, as well as his now completely fearless demeanor and ferocious fighting, he gained a name for himself, earning himself a spot among an elite ten men known as Lightnings under a man named Corstar. It was speculated that Regnier could've contented with the Echani for the position, though it was well known that Regnier was strongly against any promotion. None save the Lightnings knew Regnier was Mandalorian, and even that was only due to the fact that he said a morning rememberance for his family every day in Mando'a, his native tongue, which eventually led to questions, and after time, answers. Still, much remained unknown about his past, or even why he didn't wear the armor those who knew of the Mandalorians thought they were so tied to. His armor was their armor. Plus more.
It is widely believed that his suit of JS-24 Battle Armor was the heaviest ever made, and one of the more heavily modified from the original design. Along with the standard outer layer of plastoid having been treated with a phrik/duracrete mix, making it extremely durable against most laser weapons, and nearly impervious to any slugthrower and vibroblade weapons, the jet pack and unfolding wings, a pair of retractable blades made from the energy-resistant metal known as Beskar were added to the fore-arms, as well a a last-resort wrist-blaster. His suit weighed in at closer to 180 pounds, something that most believed was only effectively useful in combat from the suit's power-systems, though in fact his old Assault-class armor weighed closer to two-hundred and wasn't powered. Still, due to the added weight, his jetpack was also slightly larger and more powerful, though he was still the least maneuverable of the group. This, coupled with the immense power of his rifle, earned him the role of the squad's support unit.
He continued with the Crimson Moon for many years, following Corstar loyally, remaining aloof from the others, never making friends, sometimes getting at odds with the others from his brutal methods, and generally being known as suicidal, even for a Lightning, yet being able to survive things most considered impossible, simply by being tougher than the armor he wore, both physically and mentally. During this time, he replaced his implants with more powerful versions of mostly the same things. After Corstar left, Regnier was asked to lead the squad. He, however, still had no desire to lead, and declined. Under their new leadership of another Lightning, the squad continued for another year before the squad ran into a pair of heavily armed and armored warriors being assaulted bya large group of well-equipped mercenaries. What surprised all but one of the Lightnings was how effectively the mercenary group was being held off, and even losing the pitched battle. Regnier, however, knew the armor he saw. He knew the type, but more specifically, the blood-red coloration of the smaller of the two. It was his sister's armor. Without a thought, he opened fire on the mercenaries. The Lightnings followed.
After the quick battle, Regnier introduced his sister to his comrades, and was in turn introduced for the first time to her husband, a green-clad Neo-Crusader by the name of Konas Mattley. They exchanged the happenings of their lives, and eventually parted ways again, though Regnier left different. Something had changed in the man, and the squad knew it. Their suspicions were confirmed when he resigned the next day. No one knows why but him. He left because he wasn't a Lightning anymore, he was a Mandalorian. He went off in search of his wife's family. All that remained was one young sister of twenty-six, Kel, who asked him to take her away from Haruun Kal. He did, and she still travels with him today, fulfilling a dying wish.
But still, there was one tenant left unfulfilled: wear your armor. The matte-black armor he'd once worn he no longer considered his, however, so, from the money he'd amassed over the years, he had an adjustment made to his armor. A new helmet was fashioned, exactly the same as the older one, bar one thing: the visor was changed to the T-visor of a Mandalorian. The armor was made into the armor of a Mandalorian, not a mercenary. The tenant was fulfilled again. The aged Mandalorian once again lived by the code of the Mando'ade. From the powerful implants and physical conditioning, he still had his whole life ahead of him, and judging from his past, it won't be peaceful.
Skills: Rapid Shot, Dueling, Power Shot.

1X G-27 Mandalorian Heavy Assault Rifle w/underbarrel grenade launcher
2X 9in. Beskar Fore-Arm Retractable Blades

Theta-class T-2c Shuttle; heavily modified, now four quad laser cannons rather than two, two medium laser turrets, and one ion cannon, plus a reinforced hull, more powerful sublight and hyperspeed capabilities, and an advanced shield, turning it into more of a less-manueverable gunboat than a shuttle. The troop hold has been converted into storage for the larger power-supply needed to power the modified ship and a small armory, leaving room for only four armored troops, uncomfortably, and the space for the originally required four-man crew.
((If there is anything that needs changed, let me know, this was made in the wee hours of the morning during a spat with my computer. And yes, I realize, like Corstar, this is alot, but he can verify I'm veteran at this))
"This is Regnier speaking."
This is Regnier thinking, Force users likely can detect this. This is always in Mando'a, though always written in Basic to make it a little easier on everyone involved.
