The doors slid open and a towering Feeorin with light blue skin dressed in black leather spacer clothes paced in. He attracted little attention and most people merely went back to their drinks and conversations whilst he made his way to the bar. However, before he could get there an ethusiastic Rodian by the name of Buck dashed towards him.
<Heya Grejj, it's you!!! I haven't seen you for soo long. Where have you been? out in that ZH-25 that you won in a game of Paazak?... thought so!>
Grejj gripped his mouth with one hand and shuffled him into a corner where there happened to be a vacant table and pushed him down. He sat down and looked the Rodian in the eye.
[glow=Teal,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]Look Buck... who knows how many bounties I've got on my head but the point is, I don't need stupid friends like you to announce me everytime I come here to talk, got it? so from now on keep your trap shut. Anyway, look I'm skinned, the rise of the new Empire is really killing my buisness so I was wondering maybe you could set me up with Urjugg again, get a bit of money in my pocket? [/shadow][/glow]
<Wow you really have missed alot!... Urjugg ain't round no more. He was rounded up by Republic forces after the incident with the Jedi that he found, remember? anyway his hideout was raided and evidence was found of illegal substances. He's currently serving a life sentence, there ain't no way he's gonna be let out. However, I have heard rumours of someone with close ties to the Sith Empire who's willing to help. Goes by the name of Count Darminish, he's rich and greedy, just our type except for the rich part. Apparently he's a Sith and some systems have already joined the Emire. Anyway the point is... the Hutts are looking to get him back on Nar Shadda 'cos buisness has been real bad here ever since he was captured. The Exchange are at this party of the Count's and that's when they'll sort the release of Urjugg out. So I'm afraid there ain't no work you can do right now...>
Grejj's face turned to that of frustration, he simply couldn't go off-planet without more money.
[glow=Teal,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]Are you sure? there's gotta be something...[/shadow][/glow]
The Rodian stroked his chin, thinking of what to propose.
<Well, I've heard that the Sith are looking for someone to deliver a big quantity of Artisian crystals to Vjun, apparently the Rebellion and the Jedi are keeping a real close eye out for them. They'll pay you nicely as well... if they accept you in the first place>
Unlike any other job he had done before, this one seemed a little edgy, working for the Sith had been known to be dangerous but considering the circumstances he would have to risk it. Vjun was in the wild-space regions, that given he could make it there without having to refuel once so he would constantly been on the run. "Yeah... I could make it" he thought. So it was decided.
[glow=Teal,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]OK, how do I find these Sith?[/shadow][/glow]
<You don't... they'll contact you. I'll set you up, you just wait by your ship and I'll contact you to tell you when they're coming with the cargo, OK?>
Grejj nodded.
[glow=Teal,2,300][shadow=black,left,300]Good, thanks Buck, I owe you one[/shadow][/glow]
With that, Grejj stood up from the table, bought a drink from the bar, whisked it down with one gulp and made his way back to his ship. He was glad that he was going off-world so soon, he hadn't wanted to stay for he would have felt uncomfortable and who knows who he could run into. Anyway the fact was, he had job, he was gonn get paid and he would be as far away from Nar Shadda then ever and that's why he was a... Smuggler.
