Rothana Heavy Engineering LAAT/i: The standard infantry insertion vehicle of the GAR, the LAAT/i, also known as the Republic Gunship, carries up to 30 troopers into battle, features twin mass driver missile launchers, triple anti-personal laser cannons, quad composite-beam pinpoint laser turrets and twin rocket launchers. Manufactured by Rothana Heavy Engineering, a subsidary of Kuat Drive Yards.
Rothana Heavy Engineering LAAT/c:
RHE also also manufactures a cargo version of the 'larty'. The main function is to lift and drop nonrepulsor vehicles such as the AT-TE into combat, but the bay could be stripped to make room for as many as 50 troopers. It is a welcome sight on the battlefield as a casevac (casualty-evacuation) vessel. Many LAAT/cs were used to evacuate the Jedi Temple on coruscant, as well as the Senate chambers.
CR20
CR25
Corellian Engineering Corporation CR20/CR25:
The CEC CR20 and 25 dropships were purchased as lightspeed-capable drop ships, where Acclamator-class ships would be inappropriate, such as during commando, ARC, or Galactic Marine missions. Commandos and Galactic Marines favour the 25, since it has aded cargo space for four to eight LAAT/i gunships and special defensible ports for zero-g space debarkment.
Rothana Heavy Engineering Acclamator II-class Assault Craft:
The RHE Acclamators are used by the GAR as mobile troop deployment centres and are some of the largest starships capable of making a planetary landing. They are also capable of water landings.
AT-RT:
Designed for recon patrols, the AT-RT is a single-person walker. It provides almost no cover for its driver. (AT-RTs are the walkers featured on Kashyyyk in Episode III)
AT-ST:
The familiar 'chicken-walker' is still in wide use by the Republic Army, providing security for its pilots for recon patrols where combat is considered very likely.
AT-AT:
The AT-AT - capable of carrying up to 40 troops, the AT-AT is usually used for defending encampments. The Imperial assault on Hoth proved, however, that they are quite deadly on more agressive missions, however.
AT-TE:
Just as slow as the AT-AT, and with a smaller troop capacity, the AT-TE features a large heavy projectile cannon that allows it to dish out more damage than the AT-AT at long range, making it the favoured choice of GAR troops for assault missions.
Uulshos LAVr QH-7 "Chariot" Command Speeder:
The standard command-centre on the move for Republic troops, the Chariot speeder features advanced communications and surveillance gear, giving commanders unprecidented tactical information of their battlefields.
Aratech 74-Z:
The standard-issue speederbike of Republic Scout forces, the 74-Z speeder bike was a speeder bike manufactured by the Aratech Repulsor Company and used for reconnaissance purposes, as well as rapid transportation in combat zones.
Aratech BARC Speeder:
The Aratech Biker Advanced Recon Commando (BARC) speeder was a powerful speeder bike-model used by the Grand Army of the Republic as a reconnaissance craft. Older than the 74-Z, the BARC speeder is more heavily armed, but not as fast or maneuverable.
