Talau had ordered a shipment of purifiers for the salty water they were forced to use to get any kind of drinkable water. It had been the ammount of time it would normally take for the shipment to arrive, and so she waited patiently at the dock in Celeban for it.

(Short and sweet, Tal)
For the first time in his career he was running behind. Maybe it was the fact that the wrong hyperspace coordinates had been entered initially, or perhaps the engines were finally starting to give...
No... no, its the fact that im nervous... more nervous than a bloody Bothan intern.
The one redeeming factoid was that she couldn't feel him coming. Perhaps it was the years of hardened practice of keeping the force concealed under damned near lock and key every moment of every day; who knew when those Imperials would scan at random, or maybe it was that she hadn't seen him for closing on... no, more than 20 years. He wondered how the jedi were doing lately, Rilia seemed to be the safest place for them now.
His mind snapped back as H4-X relayed payment cuts for being late.
Hush R4, I know what im doing.
The repulsors engaged almost before he broke the atmosphere, descending towards the target like a bat out of hell. The red flames lit up the hull like a shooting star and he managed to relive, about all he could afford to relive nowadays, some of his smuggling life. He had already recieved clearance from the control tower and was straight on target to a smooth landing.
We're home R4... home once more.
With a slight rushing of air the Broadsword touched down on the permacrete as light as a starship sized feather. As far as proportions go, he had changed very little in the past 20 years, there were some gray hairs here and there but barely enough to notice. He had replaced his overcoat with a pair of slightly dirty slacks a leather vest covering an off-white shirt and a roadie hat to boot. His data-pad had been converted into a shipping manifest and he kept it on him at all times. His blasters were concealed behind a few small patches on his vest and his lightsabre... his prosthetic hand, recieved some time ago, had been reworked to act as a holding container without sacrificing dexterity. However, the force he tempered held all visuals on his person to show a normal shipping-lane grunt.
Powering down the systems he extended the boarding ramp, and pulled on his vest, stepping out into the temperate Rilian air, a look of surpressed joy on his face.

Talau watched the man come down the ramp, her eyes a deep blue that reflected her simple dress. Her shimmering feanturi robes shifted from grey to green to brown when it passed before each color in the surrounding area as a light wind blew it about her.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Anorum Sel mellon. Thank you for this...we need these desperately.[/glow]
Talau said, walking up to the man with a slight smile, though her eyes showed that she was truely concerned.

Her reaction surprised him, had he truly changed that much in 20 years? He could recognise her just by her posture and hair. He could feel the pangs of nervousness melt from his shoulders as he stared into her bright blue eyes. His datapad beeping brought him back, though, the company would not be happy to hear of his lack of punctuality. He didn't want to come out to her however... her reaction was what made him slightly on edge.
You are Talau Firians, correct? I will need you to sign for these and then I can set about unloading.
He held out his left hand (his prosthetic) and allowed his force disguise to dissipate ever so slightly.

Talau took the datapad and hesitated before taking it, looking at his prosthetic...the fact that there was no aura around it made it clear that's what it was...but she dismissed her thoughts with a shake of her head and took it, signing it and handing it back.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]I know you don't I...[/glow]
She said, gazing at him keenly. She wanted to say more...to ask him, no tell him, that he was her brother...but that was stupid of course. Latus had disappeared after the war was over, and she'd not heard a word from him. She was lucky to have Sana back alive...but she highly doubted she would be so lucky as to find her brother alive as well...not to mention stairing her in the face.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]....but I suppose that's silly isn't it? It's not like you smuggle jedi around the galaxy or anything.[/glow]
She added with a laugh.

She saw the prosthetic, it clicked too, but she was still unaware. He tok back the datapad and made himself look busy filling out paperwork, you know, shipping tripe. As he finished, he looked up at her still standing before him. Her comment did not catch him off guard though, she was always a clever one. An idea caught him, he wasnt sure if it was the best idea but...
Speaking of smugglers, why dont you come tour my ship while I get my droids ready for off-load, im sure you would like it...
He glanced towards his slate gray vessel.
She has a lot of history.
He smiled and extended his hand.

Talau chuckled slightly.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]I think I have a moment to spare. I don't seem to be hounded by people at the moment, and the longer I keep it that way the better for me![/glow]
She said with a smile.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Though...I honestly don't have long....I have to get these distributed....the sooner I get out some relief from this drought the better.[/glow]
Talau added, her eyes becoming tinged with grey. Times were hard these days, and people we suffering...especially the farmers. She couldn't take long to dally.

The planet had been relatively quiet, as far as he could tell, since the war... but apparently things were not so bright. Maybe realizing that he was back would bring her some joy. He took her by the hand and led her up into the belly of his ship. His ship was his pride... his joy. She used to know it too, every pipe, every cable, every rivet radiated with his happiness as it was working on ships that he was truly happy. After commanding his droids to begin unloading he began to show her around the ship, starting at the bridge and ending at the cargo hold. By the time he reached the holds, the desalination devices were almost all unloaded. He stopped at the door to the cargo-hold which was wide enough for both of them to stand in.
The previous owner, like everything else aboard, had indeed converted some space for smuggling humanoids. You can see where the old walls once stood. You know... I think he even smuggled some kids in these compartments once. If I'm not mistaken, the ships log was Zonoma Sekot. Another one was the Kessel Centerpoint... The Maw.
He looked toward her, his grin almost non-existent.
I'm sure he did some great things for this galaxy.

She nearly died at his words....former owner?...Talau closed her eyes just as they became a dead and stormy grey, and bowed her head slightly.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Thank you....I should go now....you're ship is a handsom one....I can see it is once again in good hands. Sir....I don't know where you got the Bla....this ship...but please, take care of her.[/glow]
She said, trying to control her voice, but she couldn't stop it from wavering slightly as she turned to go once more.

He had continued the charade long enough. In all fairness the old Latus had died at the end of the war. He had not called himself "Latus Itani" for the past 18 years. He had over 5 alibis all over the galaxy, his ship had even more. As she turned to leave he grasped her shoulder with his left hand (prosthetic).
However...
His brown eyes shifted to deep blue.
I see him every now and again, he comes in here every other time I make port. He gets drunks on imported Rilian spirits and rants about his sister to this ship's droids. I've even heard him talk about his neice and nephew, he wanted to come here. Rilia was his home.
He allowed the full disguise to fall, several scars became visible and the connection between his prosthetic and forearm became much more visible. The walls seperating his mind from the force fell and it reached out and touched hers. Flexing his wrist foreward, a small hole on the back of his hand opened and a silver cylindar shot out, only to be caught by the outstretched hand. With the same arm, he wrapped it around the Leader of the Feanturi
You could say... we are one and the same.

Talau's strength nearly gave out as he spoke....not only was Latus alive, but....Hells have it!....This WAS Latus! She pounded his chest once with her hand before laughing and crying all at once.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Latus Itani! If you EVER.....EVER!.....make me think you dead again, so help me I'll kill you myself, then bring you back just to kill you again![/glow]
She shouted at him, hugging him tightly with both arms, and burying her face in his shoulder.

Her reaction was expected, if not a little bit anticipated, her fist made a thud on his chest before he found her grasping the life out of him. The moment he had dropped his force fascade he felt better, his mind was more free and with it brought all of Talau's joys and sorrows. Perhaps he had been a bit harsh... but heck, it was fully worth it.
You wouldn't kill me. I'm too me for you to kill. And besides, im the only real family you have in this galaxy, but maybe... maybe that makes it easier.
He could feel the tears begin to well in his own eyes. She had barely changed. She was still Talau, albeit 20 years more of a woman.

She laughed at his words and shook her head, stepping back long enough to look at him, then hugging him again.
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Winds bless me! First I'm about to give up hope ever finding you or Sana ever again, and here you two are...alive and well enough to scare the daylights out of me! I can't take much more of this!....Between the two of you, the morequi and this blasted drought I'm likely to find myself in an early grave![/glow]
She stated, still crying and laughing all at once. She felt like dancing around with him there. It was the most incredible thing she had ever been through, if one didn't count the birth of her children.

He was so relieved that he could finally see his sister as he once did that 20 years ago. Latus took her by the shoulders and led her out of the Broadsword, he wanted desperately to know what had happened to Rilia in the last two decades. All at once a thougt hit him... the children, Talaus two children, his nephew and niece. He had seen them as infants but had actually met them. He was sure that Talau had told them about him but she had thought him to be dead.
Talau, I must see Daawn and Daeron. I never meant to stay away so long...
Though he felt happier than he had in 20 years, his eyes and his heart sank, how would they respond to him like this.

Talau looked at him in shock. She hadn't even thought of that yet!
[glow=9999ff,2,300]Yes! Of course! Daawn will be thrilled to see you! She's wanted to ever since she was young....Daeron...well, who knows how he'll react. He's the stoic one of the two.[/glow]
She replied, smiling and chuckling. It was so good to see him again she was nearly beside herself with happiness.
