Name: Cheksintzul (Chek and Tzul)
Gender: Male
Race: Troig
Age: 146
Height: 184.7 cm
Weight: 74.3 kg
Appearance: Chek appears to be rather kind and grandfatherly in his soft facial features. The surface of his reddish-brown face can be found scattered with slight wrinkles, brought about from a long life. His eyes are a murky blue and filled with much wisdom deep within their depths. A long and peppered beard, tidbit over half a foot in total length, obscures much of his lower face. Along with a mustache of similar length and equal pigmentation, his look as a wizened fellow is further enhanced. Both structures of facial hair are bound in an elegant and dignified braid. As for other sources of hair, his scalp is completely cleansed of any remaining tufts, accentuating the striking ridges that extend slightly outward above his eyes.
His counterpart, Tzul, does not quite share his benign appearance. The features of his face having a quite waspish look to them, he more reminds one of the strict and harsh instructor. He does not share as many wrinkles on his greenish-tanned visage as Chek, his skin seeming a little stretched across his face to further give him his authoritative air. Muddy brown eyes with flecks of gold take in everything around them with a calculating appraisal. His hair, all of which is tied up in a tail seated high in the back of his head by a thick, gold-leafed ring, still retains some of its color of youth. Among the dark gray are remaining tendrils of fading black.
It isn’t long before distinctions end, as the pair are conjoined at the base of their necks. Green and red blend in to a more neutral russet brown that remains with them for the rest of their single body. Traveling further downwards, the Troig has the four arms customary of its species, long and relatively slender. Ambidextrous and linked to the other’s mind, Cheksintzul is much more handy than most of their race.
For attire, the Masters wear the simple robes of the Jedi Order, if slightly modified. To incorporate their strange body structure, new clothes had to be made specially for them. Four sets of long sleeves have been tailored to fit their many appendages and two hoods were made to be more conveniently used by either or both Jedi once their heads started to diverge from the neck upward.
Birth place: Pollillus
Faction: Jedi
Rank: Master
Bio: Chek and Tzul, or Cheksintzul in their people’s culture, were special from the day they came to life. This would usually mean that they had been born with three or more heads, a number unusual among even the Troig, who primarily are born with only a dual set of personalities and craniums to hold them. Yet is wasn’t that which made the duo special, but rather their powerful connection to the force.
A rare occurrence among their people, the gift came to light quickly as the two revealed an unusual dexterous ability that was uncommon among their people due to the conflicting interests of bodily movements brought about by twin personalities sharing the same form. This canny ability among their society was due to the Force Bond that had naturally developed unbidden between the two, due to their forever close proximity to each other.
It wasn’t long before they were found out by the Jedi Order and, with their parents’ consent, taken away for training in order to join their ranks. Checksintzul were found to be naturals at using their born connection to the force. Working together, they could accomplish more quickly what many of their peers could not on their own. It wasn’t long before they passed the level of a youngling and were taken on as Padawans.
It was difficult to know what to do with them at first, wondering if they should be counted as one apprentice or two, but it wasn’t long before a Jedi Knight decided to take them on as a single Padawan. Marcil Ennon was a Jedi strong and wise in the force, able to teach the pair much in their time together. Again, their mental link through the force and their ability to work together gave them an advantageous curve in the growth of their abilities.
As they traveled with their master, taking on various assignments handed to them by the Order, the pair began to take on specialized skills. Chek gained much aptitude in the artful skill of diplomacy, in which he became masterful at persuasion. To coincide with this talent, he studied a large variety of languages spanning across the galaxy, making the need for a protocol droid most commonly unnecessary.
Tzul, on the other hand, took up some more hands-on hobbies. He became a masterful pilot and a good mechanic, able to fly into battle and repair the damages when he was done, all with equally high skill. He also became confident with computers and security systems, making him a capable slicer and infiltrator when the need regularly arose during some of their vast variety of missions.
It wasn’t terribly long before their master decided there was nothing more he could teach them and they were finally able to take the necessary trials in order to transcend to the rank of Jedi Knight. Afterwards, it was suggested that they take up a Padawan of their own. Quickly coming to like the idea, the pair agreed to pass on their knowledge so early into their Knight career and took on a young apprentice named Quar Filwen. An enthusiastic young lad, he was eager to learn and Cheksintzul were eager to teach.
It was quickly revealed that their different personalities complimented each other in teaching a student. While they were closely linked in mind and body, they had both developed their own behavior over years since their birth. Chek was always the kinder and more assuring one, while Tzul’s personality typically ended up matching his appearance: waspish and strict. Though Tzul had his softer side, he was oftentimes the one giving stony advice and strict criticism to his Padawan during training and assignments, while Chek would grant more reassurance and be the one to primarily point out the strong points in their apprentice’s progress.
Soon, it was time for Quar Filwen to take the same trials as his masters had done, years ago. Passing the tests with the knowledge departed from Cheksintzul, he was promoted to Knight and they to Master.
Since ascending to the rank of master, the duo have continued to support the Order by regularly taking on what advanced missions are available. Besides the solo- and group- missions, they have been considered the aspect of taking on a second apprentice. Their time is also spent regularly honing their skills, both in the force and in their specialities.
