This Cantina is as the name suggests, a little bit from every corner in the Galaxy. There are hundreds of different forms of food from all over the galaxy created by chefs from those systems to make the meal extra special. There is dozens of different types of gambling, races, sports, pazaak, dejarik, sabaac, computerized slot machines, and many more. Most pilots, spacers, military personnel, and civilians come here to relax and unwind. So come in and enjoy yourself, but no cheating is allowed with a high tech surveillance security team is on hand at all times. This Cantina is located just off the main Hangars so if someone is here just a short stay, since this is a major trading planet, there is no problem with quick turnaround flights.

Jen walked into the Cantina with his typical swagger, which right now was nothing but show. He was down to his last 500 credits again. His blaster hung on his side loosely and his outfit was wrinkled and worn like usual. Smiling with a lopsided grin he looked around the Cantina as it was busy with people all over.
Jen walked down into the gambling pit where there tables of sabaac, dejarik, and pazaak players playing all over. He knew cheating was not allowed here, but, The Network controlled things so it could not be completely legit either. They had to be getting there share of the profits or else it would not be allowed here.
Jen strolled casually over towards the slots since with his low funds it was the best chance to make some money, Once I make some more creds and secure somewhere to stay more then one night I will go for the bigger bucks in the sabaac or pazaak players.
Seeing the bright lights for high pay slots he steered cleared of those, and instead headed for the ones out of the way of normal traffic. Wisdom has made him realize the stiffer, or less paying ones were up front and advertised. His choice was a reasonably decent pay out machine and put in 20 creds and played some.
Third pull he hit a jackpot and got 1000 Credits. Not too far away another person hit medium jackpot also. The cashier droid strolled over paid Jen his credits and reset the machine. Jen strolled over to another bank of machines and again hit a jackpot, this time 500 credits.
SWEET. My luck must be changing for the better finally. I knew it was Nar Shaada that was bad luck for me. Jen was wearing a genuine smile now as the droid once again paid him off.
Jen thought about getting something to eat since he now had more then enough credits to get a decent place to stay till he could find a job. On the way to the eating areas though he stopped and saw a machine that just seemed so nice to play. Putting in 100 credits this time he began to play.
Fifth pull was the lucky one and since it was a bigger credit machine he really won big this time. 5000 credits. The droid came over like last time and looked at the machine. In the normally droid tone it told him that it will be right back due to the large sum of credits it needed authorization.
Something in the back of Jen’s mind began to ring like a danger alarm. That wasn’t normal for a droid to not pay out right away. Quickly Jen began to check his pockets just to make sure nothing could have been interfering with the machines when he saw out of the corner of his eyes and stopped in mid motion on his vest pockets.
FREEZE Anatole. I saw your little weapon show on Nar Shaada a week ago so DO NOT try anything stupid or you will get shot several times.
Jen didn’t move a muscle just smiled a bit as he turned his head towards the person speaking. Good so you know I am very fast on the draw, I’m getting a reputation how cool is this. Good thing they don’t know I can’t hit a person to save my life, targets is easy, people not so much.
Smirking broadly as he met the eyes of the man who was talking he spoke very calmly and confidently. Is there something wrong officer?
Jen now saw he was surrounded by about 8 security people all aiming their side arm blasters right at him. The smirk didn’t leave his lips though, because for a change he knew he was innocent of anything. Or is this something old coming back to bite him in the behind.
Use your left hand and give us your blaster and you won’t get harmed.
Jen gingerly leaned his left hand over to his right hip and removed his blaster with two fingers. Then very slowly he pulled it out of the holster and extended it to the security officer who took it and put it in his belt. Quickly they put stun cuffs on Jen’s wrists and began to escort him to a holding cell in the cantina security office. Jen wanted to protest but he could tell it would do no good with these guards, so he kept his mouth shut.
Jen got thrown into a cell and the cuffs taken off just before the stun shielding was put up. It was very small and had a small refresher that was actually clean, must be a high class joint he thought. A small cot to lie on and that was it. Jen lay down and simply waited for the supervisor to arrive to explain everything, or at least hope they would. Nothing worse then being in jail for no good reason.
It was not long before a nice looking human female walked in and sat down on the chair just outside his cell. Nice long flowing brown hair and blue eyes atop a very physical fit womanly body. Jen smiled and sat up on the cot.
Well I think I will enjoy your company, but there are better ways of meeting me then having me brought in here ya know.
The woman did not even pat an eyelash and looked him straight in the eyes. Care to explain how you won three jackpots in a row?
Without missing a beat he responded, Its all in the wrist and pushing the right buttons. You have to almost seduce the machine if you know what I mean. Jen knew it was lame but the lady blushed for a brief second then regained her composure.
If by seduce you mean use a slicing signal to change the timing of the machine, then your right. That’s the only way you could have done it. Now tell me who your partner is and where is and we may let you go.
At the word may Jen knew he was in here for a while. The Network didn’t let anyone go who they thought was cheating them. His bravado did not waiver though and his smirk was always present.
You won’t believe this but I have no clue what you’re talking about ma’am. I just played a couple machines and won some credits. If someone is…
She burst out in a fit of giggles and Jen had to stop talking. This is so not good. I got a bad feeling about this.
You are the only one in the whole complex to win at the same times of the signals. You won on three consecutive machines, AND we know you need the money.
Jen knew she had him there with the money thing, motive was definitely on their side. Jen just couldn’t believe his luck, finally had some credits and its all gone. At least it wasn’t my fault this time for screwing up or losing it all. And I get a place to stay for a while and free food, it could always be worse.
You’re right I do need the credits. Your scans and search though show I didn’t have anything on me to communicate with someone else. I also assume you know my history since you obviously did a background before coming in here that I have never been accused of this either. Jen waited for a minute and continued as she began to speak which irritated her some.
This check will also show I’m intelligent, I hope anyways. Why would I choose machines with no possible escape if I get caught? I do not have my own ship either, so how would I leave here if I am caught? Interesting questions to consider how legs?
She blushed a deep red as she realized Jen was looking at her legs when he said that. She regained her composure again and was upset now at him and Jen smiled back. Another guard burst in the room and spoke up.
Captain, a moment please?
Jen sighed in disgust, GREAT this is a captain? There is no way in Hades she will ever be affected by me. Totally dedicatated to her work. Just dig yourself a bigger hole why don’t you Jen, geeeeez .
The guard leaned over and whispered in her ear and they both started to leave. Excuse me Mr. Anatole but something else has come up. I will be back to discuss this more with you, count on it. She said the last phrase with just a hint of anger in her voice.
Jen laid back down in a grunt of disgust. Rubbing the bridge of his nose softly trying to figure out how he was going to get out of this one.

** On Courscant **
Doneeda looked around as the crew cleaned up for the night, her shift was over and it was the end of the week. 2 days to go and do whatever she wanted. After the hectic first day, she needed to relax, and considered not bothering with the diner and just going straight to bed. But, when she got home that all changed, he comms terminal was flashing with two new messages, both from Commenor, from The Four Corners.
Doneeda had done work on their droids and machines for them in their spare time, as well as assist in finding slicers. It paid well on the side of her crappy job as a waitress at a Cantina, and she got more experience to put on her job record. They wanted her to assist in finding out how some guy won 3 jackpots in a row.
Wad da....
She said reading it. It was practically impossible to even win one, let alone three. Someone must have set him up, or he was a very good slicer. Either way, credits were credits, she didn't care if he was innocent, her job was to find out how he took advantage of the machines, and fix it.
Doneeda booked a spot on the next transport to Commenor online, and headed out.
** 2 Hours later **
Doneeda walked off the ship, backpack full of diagnostic equipment and her computer, and headed for the employees entrance for The Four Corners. She swiped her card, and walked in, nodding to the security guy, a large bothan, and walked over to the Chief Mechanic.
So...waht'd you got ? An Iea how he do it?
She asked the woman.
Hey Doneeda.
She said, before continuing.
At the moment, we believe that he was operating with a partner. someone sending a signal while he worked the machines. We have had it in the past, you've worked on it before. The issue is that this time it is a new way of doing it, and we are completely stumped . I figured you'd at least be able to help.
The woman explained.
Mabye...I'd might be abl'to give'ou some help...Do de gambler need do know abo'da signal?
She asked, having a hunch.
No, Not necessarily.
So, he coul'ave been doin' it without realizin' it right?
She asked, knowing she was right. The woman just nodded, seeing where she was going.
I dink yo' gots yourself da wrong man. Me thinks he is sets up.
She said to the woman, continuing after a slight pause.
Lemmie talk do him, mabye he know more abou' dis.
She said, as the woman nodded and lead her to a door, which she opened. Revealing a holding cell and a man inside. She walked into the room, and motioned for the woman to leave, which she did.
You god you self some bad'luck, buy I don'tink you actually involve'd.
She said, trying to figure out how to word what she was about to say.
I...I tink you was a setup, soas you get caught and pud in dis cell for sum reason or annoder. Is the machines doin' anythings funny when you used'em? Odder than gettin' yo 3 jackpods.
She asked, hoping that the man spoke basic, and would understand hers if he wasn't a native speaker. She didn't want to have to use one of those protocol droids, she thought they were creepy.

Jen had sat in the holding cell for a few hours watching as the security brought in 3 sentients who started a mini brawl in the casino over a sabaac pot. The human was the most beat up, after he was in a fight with a Selonian and a Bothan. The other two though were relatively unharmed since it was obvious they thought and were proven right, the human was cheating by bringing in a skifter and made his cards better.
Jen could not even sulk in peace since the human was always screaming out or complaining about something until the med droid finally came and took him away. Jen was still lying on the cot when he heard a door slide open, and not from the floor this time either. Jen laid there for a few seconds as he went over the lay out in his head and realized the person was entering from the back. Grrrrreeeaaaat more interrogation.
Jen sat up and look back and saw a very nice looking Twi'lek Female walking in to wards him. Tilting his head to one side and giving her the once over and seeing how she walked and moved came to the quick determination it was not Security or muscle either. She going to dance to make me say something or what?
Jen noticed her basic was not great but easily understood also. She was attractive, like most Twi'lek females were, with a very nice body. Jen guessed she had to be in her late teens maybe early 20's also by her build and stature. After all Jen has been flying, well sitting, around places for a while doing odds and end jobs. Always trying to learn new things and understand the Galaxy a little better. Jen was getting better at it, but still so far to go.
Jen looked her straight in the eyes as she spoke and soft grin also. Well thank you miss for taking my side, i could not agree more with that analysis of this situation Looking around the cell as he spoke just to emphasize he thought he was in here without just cause.
Did i notice anything funny about the machines? Other then winning, which is normally very odd for me. Anyways, nothing specific really. Jen dropped his eyes to the floor some and rubbed his stubble on his chin in thought.Well let me see, there was no one else playing at the exact moment i was on those certain machines. Others were either talking or getting out creds or something. NOOO wait there was one lady who won at the same time i did. That first time. The other winner was playing the same type of machine but it was hooked up to another bank. Let me see, what else.
Jen thought a bit harder now, with someone who was asking the technical part he mentally slapped himself for not trying to think this through more before now. Jen stood up and walked back and forth a little bit. The Twi'lek wanted to ask something a couple times but he waved her off and kept thinking, replaying it in his mind.
Ok, the first machine was the 3rd pull winner. Medium stakes programming not tough. the 2nd winner was 2nd pull, low pay easy programming. The last one was a high end progressive with complicated programming and it took the 5th pull to win. So if you want to learn the signal and programming, you need more time to analyze it and then slice it. But that doesn't explain how or why it was me at each machine? Jen shut up as soon as he realized he was thinking out loud and sat down.
Jen looked at the Twi'lek knowing he just put himself in deeper waters by talking out loud. Basically telling them that the signal would have to be picked up and sent back from a close range to be effective. Jen also hoped this Twi'lek was trying to work it out with him rather then against him. Wonder if anyone else was close enough to me each time? Looking up at the several holocams in the ceiling and walls.
Jen then looked the Twi'lek in the eyes again and smirked, If you have any ideas i sure be happy to hear them young lady.

Doneeda came to the same conclusion that he had. The user would need to be shadowed by someone with some sort of Droid brain rigged to learn and subsequently slice the codes to the boxes.
Well....da firs time yo win, da slicer wa'probably affect bot boxes. So, all we godda do is fin ou who follow yo around and who near you during when yo win, and bigo , we got da slice.
She said.
Oh, and I'm Doneeda, Sorry for not indroducing me. I am 'ere do fin ou'ow da box gave yo dree jackpods.
She explained, remembering why she was standing there talking to him. Doneeda pulled out her computer from her backpack and put it onto a nearby table, opening it and turning it on. She went through the security info they had sent her, and noticed that there was someone who was nearby all three times, caring what looked to be a backpack. She enhanced and zoomed the picture, then turned the computer towards the man in the cell.
'Ou know dis one?
She said, nodding towards the computer.

Nice to met you Doneeda. I would shake hands or give you a kiss, but i dont like being stunned very much. Smirking as he spoke and watched as the Twi'lek moved her backpack and wondering what could be in there that was going to help.
Jen watched as she took out her computer. It was a new model, well newer then he had ever seen so far. The things he could do with that were running through his head until he remembered where he was.
Jen watched as she worked on it quickly without pauses, she definitely knew what she was doing. Mmmmm good looks and brains too. Nice Package Doneeda. Nice computer also.
Jen looked at the image on the screen. Something about this character seemed familiar but nothing ringing any bells at all. The guy looked like any other sentient he has seen in his 26 yrs. Stroking his chin again in thought getting close as he can until he felt his hairs on his forearms stand up being so close.
Nope, dont know that character at all. Just looks like any other sentient trying to make their way thru here. His backpack looks different though. Like its too heavy for his shoulders. I can see a waist belt as well. Light weight clothing as well, the shoes are also very light weight. Everything about this character is just not right.
Jen shakes his head in disgust at himself. then smacks himself in the forehead and mumbles quietly to himself. Way to go toll, next time you can be snuck up on by a little old lady who shoots you in the back too. geeeez
Looking back up at the Twi'lek and smiling as if he said nothing at all. How about you, you know who that is? or what THAT is?
Jen sat back on the cot crossing his arms and legs stretching back some. Curious as heck as to what he stumbled into once again.

Doneeda just smiled and laughed at the latter comment. The man was not very good at being tactful about his interest in a woman, that was for sure. But she wasn't interested in humans very much, on a physical level anyway. The hair turned her off.
He was obviously there for a reason, she realized. If it wasn't that he was cheating, they had probably thrown him into the cell for something else. What, exactly, she didn't know, or care. It was that the casino lost money, and she as hired to find out how.
She sat down at the table and flipped through the security info again, and noticed that the man was within 30 meters of the man in all three instances. And he stuck out like a sore thumb, his backpack was also a number of degrees hotter on thermal imaging, so he had to be using it to slice the gambling machines.
I go talk do da securi'ey woman.
She said, walking out the door and into the security office.
Miss?
She said to the woman, who turned around and looked at her.
I hab make som' progess on da slicar. Id wan't his faul'. He wa' se'up.
She said, speaking a little to quickly for her brain to translate to Basic properly.
What have you found out?
She said.
Well, der was dis ma' wo' follow da ma' aroun'a slice'da box. Someone sed him up.
She said to the woman.
Why would anyone do that?
She asked, pressing a couple of buttons on her computer console. Doneeda thought nothing of it.
I donn...
She said before two large men walked in, both carrying stun batons.
Sorry Doneeda, change of plans on this one. You know to much already, I'll let the local boss decide what to do with you and him. I'm sorry Doneeda, its just business.
She said as one of the men moved up and hit her with a stun baton, knocking her unconscious.
** 20 mins later **
Doneeda woke up in the cell she had been working outside of for the last hour and a bit. The man was still there, and her things were gone from outside it. She got to her feet but decided it was a better idea to stay sitting for awhile longer, she was still light-headed. She looked over at him.
Wad da hell did'cha do do ged dem dat stoopid!
She said, knowing that someone wanted him for some reason.

Jen watched as they dragged the Twi'lek in by her arms. She was out cold and judging by the weapons on the sides of the security they used a stun baton on her. He couldn't help but chuckle at her new situation as she was tossed onto the cot beside his. Wonder if she will care a little more then just her job now that she has the same problem i do?
Jen wanted to say something to her about this too, some smart remark or hit on her again. But something in side him told him not to do it, she was suffering enough as it is.
As she began to stir he knew her headache was going to be bad, maybe even some dizziness, or some nausea. He had been hit too many times to not remember the after effects. He went to the fresher and got her some water, the only thing available for them.
I have no idea what your talking about Dooneda. I have done nothing wrong on this planet to warrant this. Yet anyways, in time I'm sure i will but not yet. Drink this slowly it will help with the effects from the stun baton, that is what they hit you with right?
However, she was in the same position as him now and probably more willing to figure out what was going on. Once she responded to his question he needed to know something too.
Out of curiosity when did they stun you? What exactly did you do and what did they say before lights out? And what makes you think they are after me? What if it is you, your skills, and equipment they are after?

Doneeda drank the water slowly. The nausia was starting to wear off, but she was still dizzy. She nodded when he asked her about the stun baton, she didn't want to end up on the wrong end of one of those again.
She finished the water, then decided to answer his question.
Well...I wen indo da securi'ey office an' talk do a woman abo' yo' gettin ' sedub. Den, she push'd a couple' ah buddons on her kombuder an' in walk dese two big guys. She dells dat " its jus business ", den apologies, and I wake up ere.
Doneeda hadn't considered that they would want her, and would use some random guy to get to her. It made sense, get here there with an obvious setup, then take her. To what end she couldn't know, why they wanted her aside from her talents, which they could get anywhere else.
No offence, bud yo' luk 'ike yo've god more...expeeerrdeeance...is dat de right word? In dis dan I do, so wad do yo' dink?
She asked the man, who's name she still didn't know.
Oh, an' wads yo' name?
((OOC: I am planning to have one of the hutts want her because her father made a deal to get them off of Ryloth, and he had hoped it had been forgotten about. Because he told them that they could have her when she was 18, they have been looking for her for a year. Doneeda gets a job at the HNN, and someone there talks, and before you know it she's in a cell on Commenor. ))

Jen listen to her speak and nodded when she finished with what happened. then smiled broadly at the question of his experience and rolled his eyes too in thought about all the troubles he has been in and out of so far. He did not bother answering it either.
That kinda sounds like they were after you, not me? This is so odd. I mean why in the galaxy.....Jen stood up realizing what he recognized about the man with the back pack.
In the brief time you were in there were there any, how shall I put this, Imperial looking characters? You know strong, rigid, by the book dorks standing around?
This was something Jen was not expecting at all, but it would fit somewhat also. Those Imperials never forget anything, even if it wasn't my fault.
((OOC: ohhh the Imperials after me too...so it can be a tag team thing where they want money for multiple things, LMAO.. I have no luck at all..you will get the whole story in time...))

Doneeda smirked at him rolling his eyes. Her thoughts on the man were right, he was more experienced than she was at the whole "out law" thing. Doneeda thought back to the security room, and remembered a couple of men, not those who knocked her out, who looked rather out of place for a Commenor Casino. They were clean cut, well shaven and well dressed. Then she thought back even more, and realized that she had seen one of them at the HNN that day, and the other on the ship form Courscant to Commenor.
How coul' I be so'dupid!
She said, realizing what had happened. Someone wanted her, and someone obviously wanted this other man, so they saw the opportunity to set them up and kill two birds with one stone.
Der wa'a man on da ship'ere an' ad da HNN. Both 'ere an' I didn'otice.
She said, mentally slapping herself. Who could want her? And for what? The worst she'd done was an unpaid parking ticket...hardly calling for a stay in a cell. The fact that someone was after her was a big problem.
'ook, wadever. Ou' firs ordar of budness soul' be gettin' offa dis rock...You goda ship?
She asked.

Jen smiled at her as she realized she missed something, he was doing it alot also lately. It is truly a wonder i am still alive after all these mistakes.
Don't beat yourself up kid, you weren't suppose to notice them outright. Nothing you can do about it now either. You are right though, but we need to get out of here first. Then deal with getting a ship. Since i am assuming you don't have one?
Jen did not bother waiting for a response, she was young, and not very wealthy by the way she dressed. Sitting down Jen looked around the room for anything that could help. In the cell for anything that could be used as a weapon, anything to help open the cells, shut down the stun shields, anything at all.
Jen began mumbling to himself silently as he looked around. No weapons, nothing to shut down the shields, hmmmmmmmmm. Cant believe they still hold me responsible for a guy being allergic to Bacta for crying out loud. In a louder voice he turned to Dooneda looking her up and down with a critical eye.Can you see anything to help get these shields down? Cause i figure if they are Imperials, we got about ohhhhhh 4-5 hours tops before a squad of troopers march in here for me.

Doneeda looked around the cell at the shield generators.
Wel...
She mused.
dey 'ook old. old enough do ave do be support from da inside. If we can fig'ure some way oud do groun'dem oud, dey will drop. It also cause a big explode on der main 'ower bus.
She said, tapping into her technical knowledge.
Dat shoul' give us abou' 10 mins where de lights go bai bai, de power generator woul' nee' do recalibrate idself...
Doneeda continued as she got up and pulled the matress off the bed, exposing the bars that held it up underneath. They were quite loose, and she managed to pry one that had its fasteners not tightened correctly, then walked over to the shield, and stood there for a second.
I don'no wha' dis gonna do, so yo' might wanna stan' up on someding. Jus' in case.
She said, as she got up onto the nearby lavatory and held the bar very close to the sheild. She then gave it a slight toss and it hit the shield, and slid down, crossing the bottom generator bar to the ground. There was a very anticlimactic "THUD", then the lights went out.
I dink it worked.
she said.

Jen listened carefully as she made a good plan. Better then his which was to have her fake a seizure, no promises with that one. It depended too much on the person being worth more money alive then dead.
Jen sat back as she got a bar out and then stood up. Looking towards the door as he spoke.
Whatever happens, dont kill anyone ok kid. I dont the Network coming after me for my life, creds i can handle my life not so much. Deal?
As soon as Dooneda began to toss the bar the door was sliding open and he could see behind it the Security batons out and then the lights went out and the door jammed.
Yea i would say it worked, but good news and bad news. they cant get in, we cant get out, manual over ride for the doors is on the other side of them.
Something gleamed out of the crack in the door and Jen instantly jumped forward tackling Dooneda to the ground and out of the cell as a blaster shot went thru the air hitting the duracrete walls behind where they were in the cell.
Get some water, no LOTS of water and get next to the door, ok?

Doneeda shook her head and blinked for a second. She wasn't expecting him to jump on her. Then again, she wasn't expecting a blaster either. She got up and grabbed the cup that she had been using, and the other two that were under the lavatory, and filled them up.
Whad are yo' dinking?
She asked, not having any idea what water would do in a situaion like this, unless he was really thirsty.

Jen left her to go get the water and hoped against hope that they didn't have thermal imaging or night goggles. No other shots were fired as he slid on the floor to the far side of the stuck door. Listening as he did this the others outside were really mad and upset that they did not react fast enough to the problem. the Captain was really upset that this could even happen and threatened several of them they would lose their jobs or worse.
Jen knelt alongside the door way keeping low as possible looking through the door hoping there was some sort of light from the other side that would give him an advantage of some kind. His plan was well a long shot. 10 mins is not long and he needed his luck to change for the better for a change.
Jen leaned over as Dooneda approached and got close then whispered in her ear softly. Be ready to pour it all over the floor thru the door and under them ok, Trust me! Smiling broadly if she could see him it was a very smug smile.
Jen waited and saw a small light coming at the door in someone's hands judging by the way it was flickering side to side. Pulling back to the side he touched Doonedas shoulder to move her back some more out of the direct line of sight. the light shone through like a flashlight through the opening scanning all around.
Finally his luck changed some as it was a lackie not the Captain or an Imperial. In fact with the back light he could see all 5 of them near the door. The 2 Imps were trying to work on the manual override which was malfunctioning and the Captain was right behind the two guards.
the opening was only about a foot wide, no person could fit through it, but an arm could. Soon the guard extended through and shining it all over.
I cant see a thing Ma'am. Nothing they aren't in there anymore.
You idiot, they ARE in there. Only way out is through one of the two doors and manual override is on our side. Keep scanning and hurry up.
Jen leaned over as carefully as he could and waved at Dooneda to pour the water. Once Dooneda poured the water it began to pool up and spread out slowly. Jen knew that to prevent water damage in the control rooms they would have drains or slants to prevent water from getting in, or in this case a pooling in the doorway then leads to the drain off.
The water pooled up and slowly began to drip down towards the drains. Jen could not see if this will work but the physics was sound. Reaching thru the opening slowly with his fingers he went for the stun baton on the guards hip.
Very deftly he picked the baton of the mans belt with not so much as a sound. Of course they were designed to not make a sound that way they prey would not know what was coming when they unhooked them either. Jen having it in his fingers slowly moved it down and towards the floor. All the water was out and beginning to run off, time was running out.
The Female Captains voice screamed as Jen turned on the stun baton. EVERYONE MO.....
Jen touched the baton to the water and the jolt ran through the water with ease and through each of their shoes as well. Five distinct cries of sudden pain were heard and then five thuds on the floor as well. The light fell to the floor on the side Jen was on and he shined into the other area and showed all five of them were out cold.
What did i tell ya, trust me! Cant possibly have bad luck all the time. Course good news bad news again. We got about what.....5 mins now till the power resets at best? and we need to get this door open and out of here before help arrives. Any Ideas?
Jen reached around as he was speaking trying to reach the manual override without success and asked for ideas as he came back in with his arm. Shining the light on the ceiling to illuminate the room as best he could so they could see what they had.

Doneeda moved to get a peek through the door. It was indeed stuck, and the manual override was out of arms reach. She looked around the room and settled on the guard nearest to the door's blaster, in its holster on his hip. She grabbed his ankle and dragged him towards her, almost falling over backwards twice, until she could grab it. Doneeda had to use her left hand, as the door opened right, and she snaked it out and around, and pointed the blaster at the panel the captain and imps were at. Then fired.
Doneeda figured that it was a manual override that had to be held on by some sort of electrical current, as soon as there was a lack of current, it disconnected the motors from the doors. A number of things, in her experience, would disconnect power from source, superheated plasma followed by a small explosion was one of them.
After three shots, the door went loose, and was moved out of the way easily. She walked through, and found her things sprawled out on a table. She grabbed one of the flashlights off the guards and checked to make sure all her things were still there. Which they were, although she wasn't pleased that certain ones had been taken out for everyone to see.
After she had gotten her stuff together she looked over to him.
led on , I dunno 'ere da pers'nal ship'angar is.
She turned to head over and grab a blaster that was smaller than hers, then looked back at him
An' whas yo' name?
She said, as she picked up the blaster.

Jen left the doorway to investigate the room some more. Knowing how important it was to be prepared for the worst, since it usually happened to Jen anyways. He scouted the desks and drawers but nothing of use. He noticed Dooneda was getting set to blast the manual override or hope the charge set it off and loosen the door.
Jen found himself in the cell where he was standing when the blaster shot went off. Touching the wall where the shot hit and scorched it he looked back towards the door as he heard the shots. One shot? Towards where I was standing? Why only shot once? Why not more....? unless they only wanted to hit me and not her. So she is more valuable to The Network then I am to the Imperials. Course my bounty is dead OR alive with no bonus for alive either, so that makes sense.
Watching as Dooneda walked into the guard room he walked there also and through the door. Seeing Dooneda gathering up her gear which is all over the desk and inspected, torn apart, and throughly searched, he went about looking for his blaster. Jen felt his right hip was just too light for his tastes. Jen began searching some lockers, picking ones that needed to be picked open and rifling through the rest gathering what he could.
Oh yea Sorry D, Names Jeneraux Anatole. Just call me Toll for short. Well unless I'm in trouble then use my full name.
Jen purposely left the ship question unanswered since he did not have one nor access one to right now. Plus his piloting skills were rather limited, not that he couldn't fly, just his skills were not finely honed yet. Getting somewhat frustrated at the lack of finding his side arm and two lockers left he found a nice surprise.
Inside one locker was a couple nice pieces of equipment. One was a recharger for Blastech weapons. You could attach one end into the power packs and the other end into a general power port and you could siphon power without paying for it. Highly Illegal in most areas and very nice to have. Pocketing that he put in his vest and then took a decent set of lock picks. Jen was a good slicer but did not possess his own gear for it, just a simple datapad if he could find it. However, there was also some interesting holo discs and he took them out and handed them to Dooneda.
Here we should be able to use this later or maybe there is something worth wile on them to use. Do you know how to use one of those? Jen nodded to the blaster she was holding in one hand.
Jen went onto the next locker and picked the lock after a few seconds of trying. A HUGE SMILE came across his face as he fingered his pistol. Old as it was, beaten up as well, it was his prized possession and he worked long and hard to get it right so he could use it well. No other blaster ever felt right in his hands. Dooneda answered his question and he nodded. Spinning the blaster in his right index finger, stopping it with his palm, reversing the spin the other way, stopping suddenly and again going backward with its spin until he moved his wrist and the blaster slid into his holster smooth as silk and quick.
Good, i just hope we don't have to use them at all. Mostly cause mine is almost empty, they drain all power packs upon getting them. I figure i got 4 maybe 5 shots before its empty. Search the people and take anything of use. Just be careful don't want the Network getting anymore mad at us.
Jen went to the first Imperial and searched him. Taking out his ID, Creds, and emptying his power pack of a charge. Looking into his face he knew who it was by his look.
Great, should have known it was you. Jen mumbled this out loud. then begin to think to himself.Well if its just this guy, maybe its personal and NOT Imperial in nature. Could be good luck.
Jen quickly looked over the other imperial and took his ID and creds as well. Standing up he looked at Dooneda and smiled a smug grin, one he usually had when he had bad news.
Not sure how to tell you this, but i don't have a ship of my own. So we are here on this planet for a while. Second, I'm pretty sure your going to be very visible of a target, Jen hoped he wasn't coming off like he was going to leave her behind, far from it. Since he was probably a target too. So we need to get out of here and somewhere out of sight or rather in plain sight maybe....
Jen trailed off as a small plan formed in his head looking the Twi'lek over and scanning her physique. This could work, IF i can disguise myself well enough.
Then someone was trying to open the doors to the cell area from the casino floor. Jen headed for the exit to the rear hoping there was no one there waiting for them and shut off his light in case someone got in.

Doneeda looked at the disks. She could get the information off them, but wouldn't know if it was useful or not until she had some time to analyze it. She walked over to one of the Imperials, and grabbed his ID tags, as well as his blaster. It looked to be in better condition than the one she had just picked up.
Yea, yo jus poin'd an choot, right? Cand be dat hard. An I can be sure abou'dose disks till I ged a chanze do look ad'em.
She said, looking at the blaster and seeing it was on the stun setting. Doneeda looked at his ID tags. He was Lieutenant Daz Mogrina. She paused for a second, then continued on looking around. The rest of the stuff was pretty useless to her, she had a weapon, and the Imp's id, and they were running out of time.
Alride, les go well ids sdill dark, before more securidy ged'ere.
She said to Toll, as she headed for the staff door she had come through hours earlier.
