OOC:Yeah
Tace took the armor, he looked at the armor and found that it has been reused probably more times than the armor capability was set. Blood stains all over the armor, he nodded to Shev.
After placing on the heavy armor he moved towards the assault craft after checking his standard rifle they have given him and two thermal grenades.
In Mando'a he repeated himself.
"War is but a sacrafice to the better good, War is what shapes civilizations, War makes us who we are. Mercy is but of fairy-tale."
The craft began to move as he checked his weapons and hear the chatter inside the craft.

(cool. What's the colour scheme?)
The ships took off, heading for Kiffex.
*move the Mando'ade and Tace to Kiffex*

A'den stepped out of his ship with his son, Shev'yc at his side.
[glow=orange,2,300]<You did well on the field, Shev'ika, I'm proud of you. But tell me... why don't you speak? The doctors say there is no reason for it.>[/glow]
But Shev'yc didn't have an answer for his buir. He just looked at his father with big blue eyes and blinked, as if he didn't understand the words.
[glow=orange,2,300]<We'll find an answer, Shev. I promise you.>[/glow]

OOC: I'm finally bringing back, Keiran! YAY!!!
IC: A vessel of unknown class dropped through the atmosphere slwoly it reoriented it's position, to bring it closer to the camp's location. It's proportions were massive, easily the size of a corvette. It landed roughly 500 meters from the camp. It took a few more moments before the loading ramp descended and a figure was seen exiting the ship.
Keiran descended from the boarding ramp. It had been many years since he had been seen and many had begun to believe he had died. However here he was true to life. He had removed his armor instead only wearing the suit's kom'rk, or gauntlets, and his DL-44. His red eyes glowed as the Chiss/Human hybrid entered the camp.
He approached what he believed to be the Mandalorian and began speaking in Mando'a. He was a little rusty. He offered his hand.
[glow=red,2,300]Su'cuy, ner vod.[/glow]

(I'm assuming that Keiran is piloting his own ship here Hal. And OMFG finally!)
A'den nodded to the new-comer and grasped his arm in a warrior's clasp. He responded in Galactic basic.
[glow=orange,2,300]I don't recognise your face, ner vod, but your ship our IFF recievers do. And so I think that the phrase 'I see you're still alive' would be far more applicable in your case, Keiran.[/glow]
The Mand'alor dropped the grip.
[glow=orange,2,300]We've never met, of course... but your stories are legendary. I hadn't realized you spoke Mando'a though. What brings you to to this frozen scrap-pile of a world anyway?[/glow]
A'den could probably hazard a guess, having noted the gauntlets of a set of beskar'gam as soon as the near-human bounty hunter stepped into view, but the leader of the Mandalorians liked to play down his intelligence whenever possible - never, ever, show anyone your full potential until it is too late for them to do anything about it.

Keiran arched an eyebrow.
[glow=red,2,300]I'm honored to be so famous. Becoming the best gets very boring very rapidly. So I took a nice long vacation roaming the galaxy.[/glow]
He shrugged nonchalantly.
[glow=red,2,300]As for the Mando'a, we'll just say my teacher was one of the best. And my coming here means I wish to join the Mandalorian way. My teacher was one of the last few remaining and he showed me the warriors path, the honorable way. Something many in this galaxy lack.[/glow]

[glow=orange,2,300]Indeed.[/glow]
A'den took off his buy'ce then, revealing the face of Jango Fett. He smiled, sensing the irony of the situation - the best bounty hunter in the galaxy facing the genetic duplicate of a former holder of that position.
[glow=orange,2,300]My name is A'den Kal. Come on back to the camp and we'll have dinner. This here is my son, Shev'yc.[/glow]

Keiran showed a small grin that was normally out of character for the hybrid bounty hunter.
[glow=red,2,300]I would be honored.[/glow]
He gestured after A'den showing that he would follow the Mandalorian.

A'den led the way through the snow-dusted tundra.
[glow=orange,2,300]You missed a good fight back on Kiffex. We could have used a fighter of your calibre there.[/glow]
Once they were inside A'den's prefab cabin, the Mandalore set about fixing supper.
While preparing the food he continued in Mando'a:
[glow=orange,2,300]<My lieutenant, Jayleesh, was killed during the fighting. I'm in need of a strong right hand. Want the job?>[/glow]

Darth Acerbus landed his craft on the outskirts of the Mandalorian camp.
When he exited, he found himself facing the buisness ends of at least fifteen different blaster rifles, imposing T-shaped visors staring down the sights.
[shadow=red,left,300]My name is Acerbus. I wish to speak to the Mand'alor.[/shadow]
A mando in black and green armour stepped forward, hand outstreched. "Weapons."
Acerbus considered his options: He could refuse and they would open fire. He'd end up killing them, and thus defeating the entire purpose of his visit, or he could surrender his lightsaber meet with the Mandalore, and complete his task.
He handed over his lightsaber.
"Wait here."
The black and green mando walked back through the now thickening crowd towards what Acerbus assumed was the command tent.
He waited patiently, knowing that A'den Kal would be along shortly to see him.

OOC: Okay, I'm back.
IC: Keiran sat thoughtfully. A normal person would have looked surprised at being offered such a high rank at a first meeting, but he simply took it in stride. He was well aware of his reputation as a bounty hunter. No doubt, he was probably one of the best warriors in the camp and despite how arrogant that sounded it was really nothing more than the truth. Keiran had never been one for being overly humble, credit earned was credit due.
[glow=red,2,300]I accept. However, I have a small request. Starting out there weren't really many Mandalorians to begin with, meaning I had to make do with what I had, which was really just a modified suit of ARC trooper armor. And while this was sufficient at the time I would have preferred being able to have true Mandalorian armor.[/glow]
He met A'den's eyes. [glow=red,2,300]To put it simply I was wondering if you could procure me a suit of Mandalorian make.[/glow]
One of his black gauntlets starting beeping as Hunter's Vengeance's proximity alarms went off warning of an incoming ship.
[glow=red,2,300]Oh, and I think you have a visitor.[/glow]

[glow=orange,2,300]The Resol'Nare include wearing armour - any armour - the clones of Fett, from which I am decended, were considered Mando by their teachers, and they did not wear traditional beskar'gam.[/glow]
As he spoke, A'den systematically replaced the armour he'd removed upon entering his home. He turned the heat down on the food he was preparing, letting it simmer until he could return to finish it.
[glow=orange,2,300]The armour styles our people have worn have changed much over the generations, but the symbolic importance of our 'iron skin' has not. All that being said, ner vod, talk to Hephaestus - he wears the black and tan -. He's our resident smith and techie. He'll be able to salvage what he can from your old kit and build you a new one. Now, why don't you come with me to meet this visitor of ours?[/glow]
Placing his buc'ye on his head, the leader of the Mandalorian people walked out of his tent just as Kad, the mando in black and green, arrived. "We've got -"
[glow=orange,2,300]A visitor, yes. I know. Who is it?[/glow]
"I don't know. A jedi, I think. He was armed only with a lightsaber."
[glow=orange,2,300]Confiscated?[/glow]
"Of course." Kad handed the hilt over and A'den took it, igniting it and glancing at the orange-red blade.
[glow=orange,2,300]Jedi tend not towards such blade colours, Kad. Did he give a name?[/glow]
"Acerbus."
A'den turned to Keiran, grinning under his helmet.
[glow=orange,2,300]Well, Keiran, shall we go greet this 'Acerbus'?[/glow]

OOC: Since I still have no idea what time frame this is I'm going under the assumption that it's at least 1000 years.
IC:Keiran nodded and stood.
[glow=red,2,300]I am not disagreeing with you, but unfortunately, despite it's many modifications, my armor is well out of date by at least a millenia if not more.[/glow]
This was going to be an interesting conversation to say the least. He had never liked Forceusers-Jedi or Sith, but he respected their skills as combatants considering he had faced many of them in combat before in his life time and even managing to slay a few.
He would keep an eye on this one though, judging by the lightsaber he assumed it to be at least a Dark Jedi if not a full-fledged Sith. They were the most unpredictable. Despite his lack of armor he was still carrying enough weapons in his gauntlets in addition to his blaster to take care of any problems.
He gestured. [glow=red,2,300]After you.[/glow]

After the pair had made their way to Acerbus' ship and the group of Mando'ade surrounding it, A'den stepped forward, his hands resting on his belt, within easy reach of the twin blasters worn there.
[glow=orange,2,300]I'm the Manda'lor.[/glow]
Acerbus smiled beneath his cowl. Haughty and insolent. Just the way he'd requested.
[shadow=red,left,300]And I, A'den Kal, am Darth Acerbus, a Lord of the Sith. [/shadow]
The Lord of Shadows, pulled back his hood, revealing his face - now mostly healed from his injuries, but still covered in freshly healed scar-tissue, leaving his face a cross-hatch of white flesh. His eyes were currently their natural brown.
[shadow=red,left,300]In times past, our peoples were allies. And for some time, both our peoples have been eclisped. I offer a renewal of this alliace and a chance to bring us both back to glory.[/shadow]

[glow=orange,2,300]As you're no doubt aware, Lord Acerbus, the Mando'ade are mercenaries. You want our services, you need to be talking in credits.[/glow]
[shadow=red,left,300]Ah, but there's the rub, A'den Kal. To afford your army for the amount of time that it would be required would be more money than even the Republic could afford. I offer you something even more precious.[/shadow]
[glow=orange,2,300]Oh? What's that?[/glow]
The Sith Lord smiled, showing perfect teeth.
[shadow=red,left,300]Revenge.[/shadow]
A'den turned to Keiran for a moment, the guesture conveying the meaning of "what the fierfek is this guy talking about?" than turned back to Acerbus.
[glow=orange,2,300]I feel no need for vengence particular against any folk right now.[/glow]
The Lord of Shadows showed his teeth again.
[shadow=red,left,300]Then you are unaware of the current state of the Republic's clone army then? That the Chancellor has betrayed them and allowed ancient spirits to possess their bodies? Turn them into something that is... what is your term? "darmanda"?[/shadow]
[glow=orange,2,300]Wait on your ship. We'll discuss tonight. You'll know by the morn[/glow]
He turned back through the crowd and headed for his tent. When he was inside, he sat down and looked at Kieran.
[glow=orange,2,300]What do you think? He wasn't telling the whole truth, but how much was he glossing over?[/glow]

Wake Up!!! yelled a voice.
Dataraska woke up and looked around, burning metal and bodies were all over the place. The smell of burning fuel and flesh together was intoxicating enough.
He looked at himself, the armor he was given before leaving the camp was still intact and a few burning marks was left over. He looked around and found no one, who was the voice? Where was the Mandalorians who he was talking to before they were killed? What date was it?
He got up slowly feeling some pain throughout his body, no weapon was nearby and if there was...it was to damaged to use. He pulled out the hunting knife before he had left on the trip and went to look around the wreckage - all there was, was just cantines of water and some small amount of food that was probably spoiled by now.
After finishing gather what supplies he could get, he then left to recover back to the camp before he froze out here to death.

Keiran took an analytical viewpoint for a moment as he thought the situation over. [glow=red,2,300]When he first started talking about revenge I thought he was going to use the longstanding rivalry between us and the Jedi. Throwing this out surprised me.[/glow]
He stared out at Acerbus's ship before beginning to speak again. [glow=red,2,300]I think this is a move personally against you to get your personal feelings of justice involved. As you and the clone army both come from the same material, he believes that he can exploit that bond. Blood runs thicker than water notwithstanding that the blood is the same.[/glow]
He looked back over at A'den. [glow=red,2,300]As for the other garbage, about possession and spirits, he espoused I can't give you the truth either way. I have no idea how much we can trust him, but Sith prefer the wheels within wheels within wheels strategies of which the Mando'ade are merely a small part. I don't know what he has planning but I can't say I trust anything he is saying, ner vod. I personally don't think it's a good idea to invite the wrath of the Sith right now. We may be able to fight them off but it will be very costly. The choice ultimately though is up to you. As for this possession nonsense I'll do my best to find out how much of it is actually true.[/glow]

A'den nodded.
[glow=orange,2,300]I agree. I sense that while we cannot oppose the Sith, if we join them we will be getting into a two-pronged war - these "possessed" vode on one side and the Jedi on the other.
Either way, it'll be a good fight. Talk to Hep, as I said about retrofitting your kit, then take a few of our soldiers and find out about these possessed clones. I'll tell Lord Acerbus we accept his offer on one condition.[/glow]
