Two lone starfighters landed at the foot of these ruins. The entire temple itself was half-buried in the snow, but from what Riko could tell within his cockpit, the temple was majestic. It was similar to the temple of Coruscant in design, if not nearly exactly equal. There were five towers at the top of the structure, four equally sized spires on each corner and one, greater than the others, at the center. Apparently, no other design for the Jedi temple could portray the path to enlightenment of a Jedi as well as this one. The only difference was, perhaps, that this temple was 3 times larger than the one on Coruscant. This meant more room to live in and more Jedi would be capable of staying in one place at the same time.
As the starfighters landed like birds hovering over their nests for a few seconds before resting in their nest, the ships touched the surface of the planet and the cockpits opened to introduce the Jedi a new meaning of cold and frigid temperatures. Instantly, as if by reflex, the two Jedi raised their hoods and tightened their robes to provide warmth. Larkos realized that he was the lucky one here, being the one wearing black robes and tunic. What little heat radiation there was on this planet would be absorbed by the color of his robe. Not that it made much of a difference in this instance. The two Jedi looked at the great temple, or what could be seen above the snow. It would take some time to dig the entire place up, but it would be done eventually. Hopefully, the Jedi would also find a way to make this planet slightly warmer, both of the onlookers thought.
[glow=blue,2,000]Observe well, Larkos. This will be our new home soon. What do you think?[/glow] Even though Riko had made a good point, Larkos didn't have much to say. After all, it wouldn't be too much different from the temple on Coruscant.
[shadow=black,left,000][glow=maroon,2,000]I only wish we could establish ourselves in a warmer environment.[/glow][/shadow]

Thia Nu watched in awe, at the two ships that had landed. She swallowed. She was standing behind one of the pillars of the Jedi Temple, peeking at the two persons down there. One of the persons looked up. If it was towards her or the Temple, she did not know. But she felt the fear grow. For as long as she had used to be here, meditating in her simple ways, no persons had landed here. In her mind she considered this place her private getaway. The only place where she felt as a part of a whole family again. She heard dialogue at the landing spot of the ships. She held her breath a moment. Then she planned her next step. Having no idea of the intensions of these men, she decided to run into hiding in the Temple. If she was caught she could always try to scare them away with her training light saber. What if they were Siths? Thia could feel the cold around her, for the first time. Her hands were shaking.
She ran into the Temple, not thinking about the sound she may had comed to make. She climbed upwards the cold wall, and made her way to the scattered roof. She found a suiting girder in the roof that she layed herself upon. She let out some air, and hoped for her life that the men weren't going into the Temple.

As Thia lay there, holding her saber tight to her chest like a small girl would hold her teddy bear, she looked up towards the calm and icy sky through the hole in the roof. Her mind drifted away, and she was soon floating on the giant ice-sea of Rhen Var, floating with the Force. In this daydream she had become one with it, and she imagined it as a wind, howling when it came through small glitches, mildly blowing on the good people, Raging like thunder towards the bad men.
Suddenly Thia did not feel afraid anymore. If there had to be a fight, it had to be. She would die protecting her mom's grave. She had gained courage somehow, but she was not dumbwitted. She would stay in cover as long as she could.
A Jedi don't attack. They defend.
It was her father's voice whispering through the ruins, in her mind. Thia closed her eyes so she could focus on hearing if anyone entered. Her arms layed in cross on her chest. She breathed steadily, but low.

Riko gave a little laugh. They had lived in a very warm environment for 2 weeks now, and this new climate was a totally new change for the Jedi. Riko had been on a cold planet before. He remembered it still as if it were yesterday, when Darth Kross was once Darth Syrus's apprentice, all those years before. Ilum had been the place, and Kross, along with 2 other Sith, Darth Drahmen and Darth Vastor, had attempted to capture Ilum. Kross had fought against the planet's overseer, Chris Leen, while Riko fought against Darth Drahmen. It was many years ago now, and Drahmen, by now, is sure to be dead. Kross has taken a path he never expected to take, and Riko was happy for him that he did.
[glow=blue,2,000]Don't let these small thing bring you down, Larkos. When achieves tendom with the Force, one does not need to worry about such minor things as excessive temperatures. Besides, there will be heating inside.[/glow] Speaking of inside, Larkos had sensed something, like a distant melodic sound in the Force coming from the temple, like a weak radio signal. Larkos did not need to use his newfound powers to tune in with this particular station. He only needed to unite himself with the omnipresent energy, let the grass plain of the Force absorb the liquid matter of his thoughts and feelings feed upon them to allow Lakos to unite with the Force completely. Every root was now visible to him. He could feel them beneath the ground, locked with a thousand more plants. He could sense it more clearly now. Someone was within the temple, and he sensed something also. His felings spread out across the card deck of the Force, he could read Riko's cards as well as those of another. Curious. There really was someone else here, most likely within the ruins, and he could read what was on those cards: fear. Terrible fear. Someone needed to be re-assured.
[glow=maroon,2,000][shadow=black,left,000]I want in.[/shadow][/glow] Riko did not reply to this. He also wanted to go inside. Without another word, the two entered the ruins. That was when Riko also felt the presence within the Force, but he did not need to say anything. When they did step inside, what they found was not what they expected to find at all. Instead of broken down statues and columns, cracked walls and creaks on the floor, snow covering a large part of the inside and the cold spreading like a spider's web, the place was perfectly maintained, warm and all in one piece. Obviously, someone lived here.
[glow=blue,2,000]For a ruin, this place looks like a home.[/glow] The moment Riko finished, Larkos yelled out like a lion in mating season.
[glow=maroon,2,000][shadow=black,left,000]Come out wherever you are! We mean you no harm![/shadow][/glow] Riko staggered back, covering his ears as the echo blew everywhere like a bomb. While it was oddly maintained for the ruins of a temple, it was still deserted.
[glow=blue,2,000]You didn't need to do that, did you?[/glow] Larkos grinned at his cousin.
[shadow=black,left,000][glow=maroon,2,000]Sorry Master. I just thought we needed a bit more music in here. It's too quiet for my tastes.[/glow][/shadow]

As one of the men shouted out, Thia swallowed and opened her eyes. The men had entered the Temple. And they knew she was there! But how? There was only one possible answer to this. They were force-sensitive. Either that or they had come for her. She shook her head. No. That was too silly. Why should they have come for her? She was just a little girl. She realized she was getting a bit paranoid.
It was then she felt a weak sweep of kindness, a mild wind blowing on her cheeks. And as sudden as it came, it disappeared. Thia looked down beneath her hiding place. She tuck her lightsaber into her belt. It was far down, but she did as she had been tought for some years ago by her father. She closed her eyes and jumped. She had ment to land on the ground silently behind the men, but did not manage it fully. Instead, she landed on the ground, clumsily, and noisy. They would have been sure to have heard her. Quickly, before the men turned around, she took up her light saber, and without turning it on, she pointed it threateningly towards the oldest of the two. Damn. She realized that she may should have gone up through the hole in the roof instead.

[glow=blue,2,000]And it looks like someone wants to join your music party, Larkos.[/glow] The two Jedi looked at the newly arrived girl. Instinctively, Larkos took hold of his own weapon, Izuna. Resting in his hand, asleep, Larkos stood with his front facing the girl, he raised his right arm, its respective hand holding the sleeping Izuna tightly. Perhaps now, two weeks of training would be put to the test against an opponent other than Riko, but the Jedi Master, although lesser in skill and power than his student, still had control over him by default. Riko was still the Master, and Larkos would know his place.
[glow=blue,2,000]Put your weapon down, Larkos. She is only protecting her "home."[/glow] Upon Riko's order, Larkos relaxed, dropping his right arm to hold Izuna loosely at his side, but still kept hold of it. Larkos glared at the girl like a snake looking down upon a mouse.
[shadow=black,left,000][glow=maroon,2,000]Don't do anything foolish.[/glow][/shadow] Riko ignored this last statement, as well as its tone. It was surprisingly threatening, but perhaps Larkos still had to revert from his Vaapad Trans. In fact, his voice had a darker edge than what he remembered, but that didn't matter now.
[glow=blue,2,000]Hello. I am Jedi Master Riko Fultyre, and this is my Padawan and younger cousin, Larkos Fultyre. We came here searching a new home for the Jedi Order. For many years, the Galaxy has been at war, ravaged by the battles between the Jedi and the Sith, later on the Ninjaii. In these battles countless civilians have died, and I believe it is time we find a home that would not involve other victims. We do not mean to harm you. That aside, how did you end up here? Judging by the imaculate state of the temple, I presume you live here.[/glow]

Thia did not like the attitude of the person called Larkos. But she had to admit, she were probably not to kind herself. She put away heer Despite everything, they meant no harm. Or so they said.
[glow=navy,2,300]I guess you can say so[/glow], she answered Riko, not taking her eyes off Larkos completely, [glow=navy,2,300]I have been pendling back and forth to this planet for some time. Actually, this is my place of birth, and I have felt a certain connection with this place.[/glow]
She fingered with her necklace, looking away from the Jedis.
[glow=navy,2,300]My father used to train me here. In the Jedi-art. I know how to use a saber. Now I go here to meditate, this is, as you said it yourself, about the only place where peace is to be found. Though I do live on Coruscant, normally.[/glow]
Thia looked discreetly towards Larkos. She was not sure whether she liked him or not. He was a bit harsh, but it was not just that. She shook of the thought. I'm just being paranoid again.

Riko's curiosity about this girl was lifted up a notch when the girl mentioned she had been trained in the Force by her father. It didn't happen every day that a Jedi had a son. Love and attachment was not a part of a Jedi's way of life, but it did happen on several occasions, and Riko, while knowing it could be dangerous, had no problem with it. She was attached to her parents, but was conscious of the fact that they were gone. That in itself will not lead her down a dark path, which was good.
Riko smiled at the girl. While young, she resisted the temptation to the Dark Side. It was a fortune she hadn't turned. Her story reminded him of Asajj Ventress, a military commander for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. She had met her Master after he had crash landed on Rattattak. When he died, she was outdone by her anger, believing the Jedi had abandoned him to his death. It was a fortune she did not think of it the same way as the Ventress woman did. The Jedi might benefit from her presence. She would become a great Jedi Knight one day.
[glow=blue,2,000]I understand, but to travel the path of the Force, one must let themselves go of everything they feel. You possess a feeling of attachement, young one, and that has led you here time and again. To enter the realm of the Force, you must let go of everything, reveal yourself to it, open up so it can flow through you as a river flows down a canal. When you do that, you will experience the Force, you will become one with it. I'm certain your father has taught you this, or would have if he hasn't.[/glow] Larkos also listened to Riko's lesson. After hearing what the girl had said, he realized she could be trusted. Besides, if Riko trusted her, Larkos could. After all, he was the leader here. Being his master, he could do nothing more than to follow his lead. What Riko had said was wise, although obvious. To experience the Force itself, one had to let go. To draw power from it, as Larkos had learned on Haruun Kal, one needed determination and fury. To experience the full power of the Force, to swim its mighty waves, was like a race against your limits. To win that race, the swimmer needed furious determination, like a tiger's rage.
Once Riko finished speaking, Larkos became aware that they knew why she lived here, but not who she was. Larkos took the liberty of asking her.
[shadow=black,left,000][glow=maroon,2,000]What is your name?[/glow][/shadow]

Thia had been so confused and nervous that she had forgotten her manners.
[glow=navy,2,300]Thia. My name is Thia Nu.[/glow]
The words that Riko spoke did actually sound like something her father would have said. An optimistic thought strifed Thia. She spoked without thinking it through.
[glow=navy,2,300]Do anyone of you mind teaching me the Jedi way?[/glow]

Larkos looked over in Riko's direction. As a Padawan, he was not allowed to train anyone at the moment. It was Riko's decision that ultimately made the difference. Riko smiled at the young girl, but while he had once taken several Padawans at once under his wing, he felt he was getting too old and too busy to worry about several Padawans at once.
[glow=blue,2,000]I'm afraid I can't, Thia. I already have Larkos. He has shown me he is stronger in the Force than I as well as a superior fighter. He still needs to learn control, but as soon as he is finished, I might take you. There are other Masters available. I believe Moroku Taiemo will be willing to take on another student.[/glow] Larkos frowned. Riko was admitting that he was better than him in many aspects, and yet doubted his ability to control. Larkos knew he could control the Force in ways Riko never imagined. He was more powerful than Riko, stronger than him. At the very beginning, only after the first night, he was already equal to a Jedi Master, but now, he was superior to a Jedi Master who has been on the Council for years. That spoke for itself. Larkos deserved the title of Jedi Knight. Somehow, he felt Riko was holding him back, but he would be patient. Riko knew, and his promotion would come very soon now.

Thia smiled. This was truly one of her better days. She felt like hugging Riko, but controlled her feelings. Instead, she bowed her head to Riko.
[glow=navy,2,300]Thank you, Jedi Master[/glow] she said, yurning to Larkos, doing the same gesture to him, [glow=navy,2,300]Thank you, Jedi. If you need anything help with your ships, I am qualified, as a return of favour?[/glow]

Danse landed on the planet...her ship had gotten lost in a metero shower when headsing to the planet. Danse qickly found her master and the other jedi and bowed to them and the guest.
"Sorry I'm late....I had ...complications..."

Riko smiled at the girl once more, appreciating her gesture towards them, but an unneccessary one at that. Their ships were still perfectly capable of flying. Repairs were not needed. Just as he was about to answer, another ship loomed in the distance. The three of them had only just entered the temple when they met Thia. The entrance, and the outside, were still in plain view, and Riko saw that it was Danse's ship that had landed. Danse climbed out and approached the three Jedi conversing, spologizing for her tardiness. Riko could barely contain a laugh, and Larkos simply frowned at her.
[glow=blue,2,000]You did come pretty late. I was going to say we're about to leave. As I was about to say, Thia, our ships are still in good shape. You might want to look at them when we arrive on Coruscant. I'm assuming you have a ship of your pwn. You must have one to go back and forth between here and Coruscant. Besides, I believe you will soon be able to consider this temple your permanent home.[/glow] [shadow=black,left,000][glow=maroon,2,000]If Lorthias doesn't cut us down first.[/glow][/shadow] Larkos was quick to add. Riko grinned at Larkos. He was right. First, Lorthias had to be brought down. They would now be heading back to Coruscant. Hopefully, Caleb and Kross were finished training the students who decided to learn the secrets of the Ninjaii and the Nosferatu. Two weeks have passed since then. Many things must have happened in their absence. Hopefully, they would be finished just as he was.
[glow=blue,2,000]Are you willing to come with us to Coruscant? A great battle is approaching and we need all the help we can get.[/glow]

OOC: I assume that last question was meant for Thia, and not Danse.
IC: Thia were not sure what to say. She had no experience from battles, she was not even given the privilliege of becoming a padawan, but on the other hand it was two Jedis asking for her help. For her help. She poundered a short while, before she came up with an answer.
[glow=navy,2,300]If that is what is necessary, I shall come with you. You will not regret it![/glow]
Thia was a hopefull girl now, all fears and doubts were gone.
[glow=navy,2,300]I'll go right ahead and prepare my ship.[/glow]
Thia knew she may should not lie, but she wouldn't tell. She ran through the Temples main-room, dissapearing out of the now 3 persons' sight. She jumped through a hole in the wall, leading to a room were a small one-man ship stood. But Thia ran past it. She ran out of the room, and was now out again, on another side of the Temple. There was a broken statue were she stopped. It was a female body, seen from it's breast and to it's relatively whole head. It held a spear in it's left hand, pointing upwards. The statue had slid down while Thia and her father trained there once. Thia now knelt down beside the statue, on what was her mother's last hiding place.
[glow=navy,2,300]Mom, A real Jedi Master has comed here. He has told me of a master that might be willing to take care off me, train me, just like father did.[/glow]
She went silent for a while.
[glow=navy,2,300]Goodbye, mom.[/glow]
Thia ran back the way she had comed, to find that the Jedis were still standing there. She jogged towards them.
[glow=navy,2,300]Are we ready to go now?[/glow]
Thia looked upon the person she had not noticed in all her excitement earlier.
[glow=navy,2,300]Are you a Jedi too?[/glow]

Riko nodded. They had found what they were looking for, and there was nothing else to be done here. Thia was obviously eager to come with the Jedi, and possibly couldn't have been any happier than now, knowing that she would finally be living here for good. She had grown attached to the ruins of this temple, but they would be ruins no more. Without further ado, Riko gestured for their starfighters. Larkos was also glad. Glad to be leaving here so soon, hoping that Riko would change his mind about Rhen Var. He did not like this place at all. It was too cold for him, and Larkos did not enjoy it. If it came down to the worst possible situation, he would try to get used to the whether here. For now, getting out of here was his first priority.
[shadow=black,left,000][glow=maroon,2,000]It's about time. I want to get some action and finish this war for good.[/glow][/shadow] Bloodthirsty determination rang in Larkos's voice like the bells of a church. The young Padawan shined with such confidence he seemed to think he could end this entire war himself, but Riko looked scoldingly at him. This was not the sort of behavior a Jedi should demonstrate, especially in front of one as inexperienced as Thia. The Jedi Master still believed it was pure luck she hadn't become another Asajj Ventress.
[glow=blue,2,000]Be careful what you wish for, Larkos. The battle will come, and when it does, be mindful and focus. Mind what you have learned in the past two weeks.[/glow] Riko looked away and toward the starfighters as they walked through the entrance and out into the blizzard, while Larkos grinned coldly. Oh yes. Larkos would mind what he learned. He would mind everything, and Riko would witness power he'd never seen or imagined. The battle would take place soon, and when that day comes, everyone would thank him for ending it.
A few minutes after Riko's scolding, the three hopped into their separate fighters and departed to head back to their current homes, Coruscant.
*Move Riko, Larkos and Danse to Coruscant*

Kalo sat in the cockpit, his eyes focused on the icy barren planet that hovered before him. They were currently outside the atmosphere and just about to enter it, his radars showed dangerous weather conditions he recieved the information and tightened his concentration through the force. With his hands tightly grasped on the levers he slowly tilted the Republic transport down into the atmosphere, suddenly he was shook from side to side, they had flown into atmosphere and within seconds were being hurled about. Kalo straightened the craft containing the other jedi and kept it steady heading foward at a constant speed. Soon the craft signaled the go- ahead and he provoked the engines further risking the critical weather conditions. In front he saw nothing but with the guidance of the force he piloted his way through the maze of white blaze.
Finally he reached his destination, the Temple ruins of the ancient jedi temple, once graceful and mighty now all but rubble left in the snow, well he would endevour to change that. The jedi needed a new home and he would help provide that along with the others.
Soon he had landed the craft on the west wing of the Temple ruins. Kalo lowered the ramp, cloaked himself in a thick garment and began making his way out with a comm link inside his utility belt. He paced down the walkway and stepped into the freezing snow, already he hated the planet, he was used to calm temperatures like on Glee Anselm except for the wave storms that occued every now and again but his many years of training and hardening toughened him against the conditions.
The ruins were indeed desolate and lonely, this place had not been inhabited for years and yet he could still sense the essence of force users who had tred on these grounds not too long ago. He touched a wall and closed his eyes, two men flashed before his eyes and became aware to him that Riko and Larkos had indeed been here. Then it suddenly hit him, Larkos now being the biggest threat in the galaxy knew the location of their new temple, he could launch an attack at any moment during reconstruction but he would need an army and that he didn't have.. yet. He would consult Riko on the matter later but now he would have to define whether or not constructions could take place.
Kalo had been walking around for a while now and he had soaked in the area of the temple, drawing a map of it inside his head for future reference. He paced on down the crumbling hallways observing every detail that surrounded him until eventually he reached a door. He approached the door and pushed it aside and walked inside. Kalo found himself stepping into a circular room very similar to a room which he had once sat in, it was the council chamber. All the chairs were still intact, some crumbling some burnt but for them to have remained this long was amazing. Kalo reached for his comm and contacted Riko and the others on the ship.

OOC: If you read the interaction between Thia and the other two guys, you'd know that the inside of the temple is in a pretty much damn good condition. Let me be clear on this though: I still have second thoughts about this place.
IC: Riko stepped out of the shuttle the moment Kalo opened the comm channel calling him, as well as hundreds of other Jedi, in. Riko had been here only two days ago, one day before the battle against Lorthias on Coruscant. Thinking back, Riko felt as though an entire planet's worth of deadweight had been removed from his shoulders, despite the fact that the Sith were all but defeated. In addition to Larkos, one other Dark Lord of the True Sith had not participated during the battle. Riko had been told all about the rift in the Force and the wound in the Dark Side caused by Lorthias and his fusion with the Ninjaii. Therefore, it was only natural for him that there was still a fourth Dark Lord out there somewhere. What would Larkos do if he found the last of the True Sith? Would he join her in his ambitions to take control of the galaxy, or would he kill her as he did Soru?
Realizing that speculating on the topic would bring him nowhere, Riko decided to let it be for now and concentrate on the task of re-establishing the Jedi Order here. Everyone needed to be as active as possible, and the Jedi needed the strong presence of the Jedi Council, now more than ever. They needed guidence through the Force, and those who were less experienced in its ways would need the guidence of the Masters. That was when another disturbing realization hit him. Where was Master Tiin? Since he had returned from the afterlife, Riko has not seen him once. Something must have happened to him, but why nobody heard from him, or why he had not participated in the battle against the True Sith was more disturbing than knowing Larkos had turned to the Dark Side. Kento has led the Jedi Council for many years now. Who would lead them now, when the Jedi needed to stick together the most to heal from the countless wounds inflicted upon them?
[glow=white,2,000]Do not trouble yourself with these thoughts, Riko. The answers will come to you shortly.[/glow] A voice spoke in Riko's head. Strange. It sounded distant, ghostly and fatherly at the same time, echoing shortly before vanishing back into the turbulent snowstorm outside. It sounded much like Moroku's voice. The only Jedi Riko knew to have achieved immortality was his own Master, the one whose name Riko had never known. There were other before him, but Riko never believed Moroku could achieve eternal life in the Force. Maybe he was simply imagining things. Nevertheless, the voice was right. Once again, Riko was speculating. He would be patient, and the answers would eventually come to him.
Shorlty afterwards, Riko arrived at the old Jedi Council room. Kalo stood opposite the entrance, looking outwards at the vast, cold and deserted planet. Riko brushed his robes with his hands, getting rid of the snow that had blown onto it. That was the one thing Riko didn't like about Rhen Var. The weather conditions were fierce, not to mention Riko never enjoyed the cold. He remembered his mission to Ilum, seemingly a lifetime ago, when Caleb was known as Darth Syrus, when Riko had fought against the Sith Lord, Darth Drahmen, alongside the late Chris Leen who had fought valiantly against Kross, when he had been the apprentice of Syrus. Those days were gone now, and Riko was glad they were. Stepping closer, he called to his former student.
[glow=blue,2,000]So, Kalo. Do you like our new home?[/glow]

A'den had noted the shuttle landing near the old building. Curious as to who would be interested in the old Jedi temple, he and Shev gathered their weapons and took Ramsir across the planet to where the temple was, landing a few kilometers away and approached on foot.
It was one of the few times that the Mando leader wished his armour wasn't painted green - a very conspicuous colour in the snow-covered landscape.
Shev, who hadn't yet reached adulthhood, and so didn't yet wear the mandaloiran armour - the beskar'gam - was dressed more sensibly in white and grey arctic camoflage. He carried his small sporting rifle carefully, a huge grin on his face.
As they neared the site, A'den took out a pair of macrobinoculars and zoomed in. Two figures dressed in robes were walking around - a Nautolan and a human.
A'den cross-referenced the Nautolan's appearance against his own edictic memory of the roster of Jedi he'd studied on Kamino. Definately Kalo Darken, Jedi Master.
Of course. The Jedi would want to relocate after the disasterous attacks by the Sith against their stronghold on Coruscant.
[glow=orange,2,300]Stay here Shev. I'm going to talk to them.[/glow]
The Mandalore stood up and marched out into the clearing , hads held open at his sides to show he held no weapons.
[glow=orange,2,300]Su cuy, Jetiise! What brings to you to this desolate frozen waste? Certainly not the weather![/glow]
