Moroku didn't need to say anything more regarding their individual tasks. Both understood their assignments well and the Jedi Master was confident the other would do his best to reassure the Queen of the Jedi's intervention on Naboo. This was, perhaps, the most delicate mission Moroku had ever taken part in since he officially joined the Jedi Order, but this did not stop him from doing his job. He was a Jedi, and it was his duty as a Jedi to protect the Republic and the galaxy as best he could. This essentially meant that as a Jedi, he could not afford to fail in his missions, for that meant failure to maintain the stability and peace in those rare places where it was found. Naboo was one such place, and he would not see its peace perish under the strain of the Darkness that the Dark Lords had strengthend over the countless years. One way or another, this had to stop.
As Moroku approached and boarded the LAAT behind the older Jedi Master, he spoke to Kalo.

As his starfighter approached the now broken down temple of the Jedi Knights, the sight caught the young Padawan's eyes like a rising sun. Loki was secretly glad to be here. He never wanted to learn Vaapad. It was too dangerous even for those who did not fear the Dark Side the same way he did. Loki feared it more than anything else. Sometimes, he wondered if it was the only thing he feared.
He was glad he didn't continue with the training. Eventually, it would have taken him down a path he couldn't afford to travel, a path no Jedi should travel. Their training is a sign that they are forgetting what the Jedi truly are: peacekeepers. Training to fight an enemy is training to use violence, to destroy. As peacekeepers, a Jedi's duty is to preserve peace, to create a safe society, not destroy other societies for the sake of justice. A Jedi's duty is to defend what is created, not to attack and destroy. This was the path of darkness, one Loki refused to take and always would. He hoped his master would understand this in time. Several Masters did, most noticably Moroku Taiemo. He was a true Jedi, one Loki truly admired. Maybe he would consult with him.
His fighter finally landing in the hangar like a bird slowly descending into its nest, Loki opened the cockpit of the fighter as soon as it touched down to hop out. He gave up all of himself to the Force the moment his feet touched solid ground, like mud falling onto a filter to expell all the impurities of his soul to mix with the Force, become one with it. He sensed other Jedi about, very few seeing how most where nearby at the Church of St. Lorthias, but there was no sign of Master Taiemo. He was probably on a mission somwhere, but the Padawan was sure he would eventually return. When he would, Loki would speak to him, but for now, the Jedi headed for the room of a thousand fountains to meditate.

The Cloak hovered a short while over the landing pad before it found a place to settle down. Wendom and Nih sat still in their seats, and Wendom turned to the Sith behind him.
[glow=red,2,300]I sense that there are few Jedis here. Which of course is good for us.[/glow]
Wendom took his hand into one of the pockets on his belt. When it came out it had a small object with up.
[glow=red,2,300]This is your intercom. You put it on your ear, and I will put mine in my ear. This way we can communicate easilier. In case something happens.[/glow]
Wendom looked out of the ship's cockpit to one of the entrances into the Temple.
[glow=red,2,300]I will go in alone, as you are strongest in the force of us two. Try to cover your strength, as we would not want anyone to blow our cover. I will try to either slice in to the database to find Riko and Larkos position, or I would have to talk to the Jedis. Either way, I will wear my cloak on, so noone can see my light saber launchers.[/glow]
Wendom took a cloak out of one of his closets. He turned to Nih again.
[glow=red,2,300]I'll try to be discreet.[/glow]
He sat down in his seat again to clear his mind, and letting Nih get a chance to say something.

"I like not the thought of you entering such an infested place alone. However, it must be done. I shall stay aboard here and await your return. Try not to make me have to rescue you...again," said Nih with a reminiscent smile.

Wendom rolled his eyes and sighed yet again. He rose up and went out of the ship. Once outside he explored the area with his eyes. He walked towards the room of thousand fountains. He could sense a few Jedi powers there. He hoped he had right in that his dark force were too small to be sensed. Silently Wendom stepped into the room. He tried to not look at the decorations of the room.

Ushii steps into the fountain room. There was another that he didn't recognise in the room.
His hand unconciously slipped to the hilt of the katana tucked into his obi.

Wendom turned towards the sound. He was now looking at a brown-haired male human in front of him. Wendom looked into the grey eyes of his and spoke.
[glow=red,2,300]Thank you, Master Jedi[/glow], Wendom bowed his head slightly, [glow=red,2,300]can you direct me to anyone that can tell me the where-abouts of Jedi Master Larkos? We must warn him of what could be a possibly life-threatening danger.[/glow]
Nih could hear every word that Wendom spoke.
Wendom gave out a begging look to the Jedi General. Wendom had folded his hand, as in a prayer.
[glow=red,2,300]You know of anyone?[/glow]
Wendom awaited the Jedi Master's reaction to this. He guessed that Nih was just as excited as he was.

In his deep meditations, Loki floated like a lifesaver on the pool of the Force. Calm and at peace, Loki had been meditating for hours now, but his connection to the Force, after all this time, had been tied with metal ropes. He was like a great light shining like a brilliant sun in the darkness of space, the darkness that the war had cloaked the galaxy with. Being in the Jedi temple was soothing, and being the greatest nexu of the Light Side in the galaxy, there was no better place to meditate than here. Repairs still had to be made in the temple, but that would come when the time was right. Now, the Jedi had bigger fish to fry.
In the pool, Loki suddenly waves on its surface. Someone sensitive to the Force had entered the pool, and Loki opened his eyes to end his meditative trans. He was still in the Room of a Thousand Fountains, but this time, Master Jangahir and another he never met before were there too. The young Padawan stood, letting himself go once more into the Force, spreading his feelings like cards on the deck of the almighty field which gave Loki his greatest strength. Other players were there too, and Ushii's cards were easy to see, but there was something odd about the newcomer, something strange. The Padawan couldn't place it precisely in the puzzle, couldn't find where it was supposed to be, but that was enough to warn Loki that something was wrong.
The young Jedi stepped next to Ushii. The stranger wanted to know where Riko and Larkos were, but he had referred to Larkos as a Master, while in truth, he was a Padawan just like himself. Something was definitely wrong. Every Jedi knows that Riko is the Master and Larkos is the Padawan.
[glow=silver,2,000]Master, I don't believe this one has good intentions. I feel something strange about him, and he confuses Larkos for Riko.[/glow]

Wendom was carefully moving his arms down, letting them hang loosely from his body. The now two Jedis in front of him worried him. He hope he had not said anything wrong. Wendom maintained his calm.
[glow=red,2,300]Maybe I should go. I am obviously interrupting something here. I must apologize, but I have not been into this Temple of holiness before. But you should give word to the Jedis: There seems to be someone closing up on them. I have heard the Jedis' names been mentioned, and I felt obliged to warn them. Bountyhunters. Vicious, good, experienced ones. Please do me the favour to warn them.[/glow]
Wendom bowed, turned around, and walked slowly, not too fast, not too slow, out of the meditation room. Out of sight he closed his eyes and cursed inside his head. He was still walking.
Plan B.
He was thinking of wether or not he should try to slice into the Jedi Temple's database. They would probably notice it after a while, but hopefully they would be on their way by then. Hopefully. If that did fail, he always had his other backup plan, which was, if he was lucky, alreay begun.
[glow=red,2,300]Forget the asking, Nih[/glow], Wendom updated his companion, [glow=red,2,300]we'll wait a while in the ship, and then we will see if we have to slice their positions.[/glow]
Wendom looked behind him. Shadows. But only of dead objects.
[glow=red,2,300]I'm coming now, open the ship's door.[/glow]

His abrupt leave made Loki all the more suspicious of him. If he was telling the truth and he truly wanted to find out where Riko was, he would have stayed, but the fact that he left meant he was hiding something, or did not want the two Jedi to discover something about him. If anything, the stranger would try to find another way to get the information he needed. Something was definitely out of place. To begin with, the stranger hadn't interrupted anything serious. Ushii was not here when Loki arrived, and hadn't spoken at all. This was undoubtedly an excuse to get away. Secondly, the Force was warning him, like a nudge in the shoulder. It was sending a signal of danger.
[glow=silver,2,000]Master, I don't believe he will give up so easily. He left to quickly to imply he had good intentions. He might very well be telling the truth, but something doesn't fit. What is your suggestion?[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]I agree. It was quite suspiscious. How did he get into the temple so easily? How did he slip past the guards from the 501st Legion?[/glow]
Ushii pulls out a comlink.
[glow=blue,2,300]Air patrol, this is General Jangahir. Please lock down all air traffic until further notice. Emergency and military craft only. I need to perform a search without distractions.[/glow]
He turns to Loki.

Wendom looked over at Nih. Without neither of them saying a word, Wendom confirmed they both felt the same disturbance. Wendom drummed his hand on the navigation panel, carefully avoiding the buttons. He watched out the window as it seemed to be limited of traffic suddenly.
[glow=red,2,300]My best guess is that they don't know we are siths. Yet.[/glow]
Wendom spoke without taking his eyes off the guards outside.
[glow=red,2,300]We can't afford to let them think otherwise.[/glow]
Wendom opened his main computer screen. He connected to the Jedi Temple. The technology was higly sophisticated, no doubt. Wendom started slicing into their systems.
After a while of slicing, Wendom could pronounce half-sure that they were ready for take off. They had already the looks off a military ship. Now Wendom also had them registered as a military ship. No doubt that the Jedi Temple's databank-guards or the Jedis themselves would find out this scam. But this would happen when they were gone. At least that was what Wendom hoped for. Wendom spoke the normal military flight- and take off-code in to the main control tower. Then he followed it by:
[glow=red,2,300]Are we cleared to take off?[/glow]
Wendom's hand was ready on the panel, to let the ship fly. They only needed a confirmation.

Loki did not know what to think of Ushii's suggestion. Searching for them might not be the right answer. They could have already left by the time the tropps were ready. Something else needed to be done.
[glow=silver,2,000]Master, I believe that if they are determined to find the information they seek, then they might try to hack into our information logs. Riko's journey to Haruun Kal will surely be recorded there. We need to send a technician down there to stop this from happening.[/glow]

Wendom had gotten the cleareance to take off from the main tower. His thoughts were many in the few seconds.
If they really care about Riko and Larkos, they will warn them.
If the warning was about vicious bounty-hunters as Wendom told them, or of a lone man asking for their location, that did not matter to Wendom. Most likely they would tell Riko and Larkos to be prepared either way. Either they would tell by hologram, or they would fly to their destination. Wendom saw the first option as most likely though. This meant of course that they would have lost the moment of surprise. But the moment the Jedis warned them, Wendom and Nih's chances to find out their location increased. Wendom smiled.
[glow=red,2,300]You control the ship, Nih. Don't fly too far. Make sure that the Jedi Temple is in view.[/glow]
Wendom and Nih switched places. Wendom worked his way to the back off the ship. Then he activated the smoke launchers beneath the ship. It spewed out smoke, thick and dark, as the Dark Force itself.
The ship took off, leaving a seemingly harmless smoke cloud on the ground where the ship previously stood. It would stay there a while, slowly disintegrating, as it were designed to.
Wendom knew that if they checked the data system now, they would easily find out that the ship was a hoax. Not that it mattered now.
Nih handled the ship well, Wendom thought, seeing it from Wendom's point of view. He did not see much, as he stood there in a thick cloud of smoke. Wendom climbed down under the helipad by removing a maintenance hatch. He closed the hatch carefully, and started crawling slowly towards a link to the Temple's datasystem.

The maintenance tunnel had so many cables that it left little space for crawling. This was no place for people with claustrophobia. Fortunately, this word was not known to Wendom. If it weren't for the seriousity of the current situation, you could almost say that Wendom enjoyed himself.
Finally he found the cable box that he needed. He opened it carefully. Then he connected the miniature slicing device to the database cable. He devoted his brain to the slicing.
Halfway through the slicing his motion sensor could tell of a guard patrol in his proximity. He concluded with it had to be either below or above him, as he couldn't think of two guards patrolling the maintenance tunnel. He kept on decrypting the codes. It was tougher than he thought it would be. A little drop of sweat slided from his forehead, annoyingly slowly down on his nose, before it fell out of sight. Wendom's motion sensor alerted him again. His first thought was that the guard patrol was coming back. But the truth was that two new was going the same way.
Damn. They must have initiated a search.
Finally Wendom had broken through the database system. He saved the coordinates on his miniature computer, and started to work his way back to the exit.

Wendom crawled faster now.
[glow=red,2,300]Nih, cloak the ship and fly it over the smoky area. Do not land there, just speed down, then you speed up again on my word. Got it?[/glow]
The tunnel disturbed the intercom a little, but it was no problem.
[glow=orange,2,300]Got it.[/glow]
Nih confirmed. Wendom had entered by the hatch. The smoke was thinner now, not to mention the atttention from some of the guards it had drawn to itself. Wendom recognized the sound of his own ship above him. He quickly opened the hatch, aimed his ascencion gun at The Cloak, and fired. Fast he was drawn towards the ship. Wendom could see that some of the guards aimed towards him, but no-one fired. Yet.
[glow=red,2,300]Speed up now.[/glow]
Wendom clung tight to the ship's chassis as Nih sped up.

OOC: I'm assuming Thia is with us
IC: Dropping out of hyperspace, the four starships slowly descended toward the city. This great city had been torn by countles battles and an endless war. It has already been host to three battles in the past, and Riko would not let this great planet suffer the horrors of war any longer. That was why he was happy right now. Rhen Var would serve as a wonderful new home for the Jedi. The attention would no longer be focused on the civilians and innocents who have nothing to do with the affairs of the Jedi and other Force users, and it would be much easier to touch the Force, seeing how the environment and surroundings were not made, not artificial, but natural. Surely, a place like Kashyyyl or Endor would have served better for that purpose, for there was much more life in planets like those, but even there, innocents would become involved.
The ships landed in the hangar bay, and they were followed by another ship that had come from a different course. Riko wondered who this could be, but he couldn't be hostile. Corellia held nothing against the Jedi, and the Corellian Space freighter landed slowly as its bulk took up much of the space that made the hangar bay. Riko wondered what they would do with such a huge piece of junk, but it might serve them well in a battle, given its weapons and heavy armor. Its speed would certainly not help, but it made up for it with its strength. Riko, and the other three Jedi, hopped out of their respective ships as Riko made his way to the freighter. The ramp discended, and out came Moroku Taiemo. Surprised, Riko laughed.
[glow=blue,2,000]Since when did you start smuggling spice, Moroku?[/glow] Moroku smiled at Riko, but at the moment, he was not exactly willing to make jokes. He had work to do, and his mission wasn't over yet. He had to make a report to Lieutenant Dix. He would like to know what the Jedi Master found out on Bespin. It was good he managed to escape Cloud City without the need of help from others, but whoever hid those weapons on Naboo could be placing more weapons elsewhere. Dix had to know, as did Kalo. As a result, Moroku decided he had little time to spare with this legend that now stood before him, speaking in a playful manner. Riko was obviously in a good mood right now.
[glow=limegreen,2,000]Riko, it has been quite long since I saw you. Where have you been?[/glow] [glow=blue,2,000]You know I went to Haruun Kal. I trained Larkos in the art of Vaapad, and he had shown great potential. Now, my own student is more powerful than I. He will be a great Jedi Knight once he learns to fully control his emotions. I have just come back from Rhen Var. Larkos, Danse and I have found the ruins of an old temple. I believe it is time for the Jedi to move to a place where innocents will not be involved and where the Jedi can learn the nature of the Force in the peace of the desolate planet. I have also found someone there. This girl. Her name is Thia Nu. Her father had trained her in the Force. I was wondering if perhaps you could train her as your Padawan.[/glow] As the day went on, Moroku started to believe that all these surprises were no mere coincidence. First, the news of Kalo still living were a complete surprise. Then the weapons cache did not belong to the FoH, the Baron Administrator of Cloud City and father of Darth Narhalus almost sentenced him to his death, and now a new addition to the Jedi Order whom he could train in the ways of the Force. Perhaps the Force was trying to tell him something, but what was it? Al of these events were far from connected if looked at logically, so what could it be? Nevertheless, Moroku looked at the girl expectantly, sizing her up until he finally came to a decision after minutes of unconfortable silence.
[glow=limegreen,2,000]I will train her then. After all, we do need more hands for the battle. Come with me, Thia. I have a job to finish, and we can then begin your training.[/glow]

Thia was no girl longer. She had a Master.
[glow=navy,2,300]Right away, Master Moroku.[/glow]
She walked after him, wondering what bussinesses he had to take care of. She weren't going to ask, though. She knew how to behave with a Jedi Master. And one of the things she remembered from her father's training was discipline. Her face was serious now, the traces after happiness of getting a master were not seen anymore. She walked with him as if the two of them were equal, and not teacher and pupil.

As Thia approached her new Master, Moroku figured he would have to explain to her what was going on. His mission, while it had nothing to do with the war itself, had shown itself to be a tough one, and an important one. Even if the Jedi somehow managed to defeat Lorthias, Moroku feared that peace would not last long. Whoever had placed the weapons there would eventually prepare another cache, one more safely hidden from the watchful eyes of the Republic, and prepare for an assault of some kind. The two walked together side by side, Thia not speaking much, but he could tell she felt perfectly confortable next to the Jedi Master, as if they were equals.
[glow=limegreen,2,000]Your father taught you well. You realize the fact that you and I, under the will of the Force, are on the same level. The Force unites us, it connects us into one entire system, like the threads of cloth making a suit. We are all united as one, and in that respect, we are indeed equal. Your father must have taught you this before he died, and you have understood him. You are very wise for your age.[/glow] The two made it to a LAAT. The Jedi boarded it and Moroku took to the controls as the younger one stayed on the deck. When Moroku had left, everyone had finished on Naboo. Dix had succeeded in destroying the weapons, and Kalo had done well in his own task. As the ship took flight, Moroku searched for any connections to the weapons cache. Kalo had caught a member of the FoH in the Queen's entourage, while Dix destroyed hidden weaponry which turned out not to belong to the FoH. The advisor must have known nothing of the weaponry, seeing how Konfar knew nothing either. The more Moroku thought about it, the more confusing it became. It was a pity Dix had not captured any of the mercs they fought down there. Now, they were on their own.

With Moroku gone to finish the assignment he had to complete, whatever that may be, Riko was quite glad to be back on familiar ground. Haruun Kal had not been so difficult for the Jedi Master, seeing how it was not he who trained, but Larkos was even happier than Riko. At last, he was in the only place he could truly call home, away from Haruun Kal and Rhen Var for that matter. He had trained harder than ever on Haruun Kal, but what made Larkos happier than ever was that he was not only able to finish it, but that he had also become more powerful than his own master and learned powers that would enable him to safely protect those around him. The fact that he had defeated Riko without using them was testament to his newfound strength. He had grown beyond his own imagination, as the Dark Master of Bpfassh had said to him at the very beginning, on the first night.
[glow=blue,2,000]Well, now that we have settled down, I think we should have some rest. What do you think?[/glow] Larkos obviously agreed. Training finished and new home found, Larkos couldn't ask for anything better than to get proper food in his mouth and a good night's sleep in the first confortable bed he'd ever had until now. But before he could vocally express his feelings, a voice rang out through the hangars.
[glow=silver,2,000]Master Riko! Larkos![/glow] The two Jedi turned to see who the owner of the voice was, and they saw Loki heading for them. His expression betrayed no sentiment or feeling, and the aim of the cry was to simply catch the attention of the pair, or so it seemed.
[glow=silver,2,000]Someone has come looking for you no more than an hour ago. He looked like a Jedi at first sight, but there was something out of place in the man. I sensed it through the Force. He claimed a dangerous bounty hunter was looking for the two of you. Apparently, there is a huge bounty on both of you.[/glow] Riko and Larkos payed careful attention to Loki, and then looked at each other as if they were not surprised to hear this, as though they already knew who the man was. Clearly, the were thinking the exact same thoughts. Larkos spoke first.
[shadow=back,left,000][glow=maroon,2,000]Whoever that was, it must have been the bounty hunter he was mentioning, but pretending not to be. There was something wrong with him in the Force? Then he must have been the one looking for us. THere's no other explanation.[/glow][/shadow] Riko nodded in agreement. However, even if he wasn't the hunter, they would have to keep a weary eye, stay on the lookout for any unusual sign of activity. Either way, that was not Riko's main concern. The most important thing was to put an end to this battle, and they would have to do it well fed and well rested. Fighting a war when one was already tired and hungry was not the best thing to do.
[glow=blue,2,000]We will have to be more careful and keep a lookout. For now, I would rather have some rest. Let's go Larkos. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow.[/glow] Larkos said nothing, but knew Riko was right. For all they knew, tomorrow could be the big day, the grand finale, the time for Larkos to show his full power and be rid of all the evils threatening him, his family and his friends. Without any further word, all three Jedi retired into their respective quarters.
