OOC: I'm pretty sure I've got it right. Its just that you're never blocking anything. If you block something, say that you did.

Kross was getting angered. This was taking way too long. More Jeid would be on there way,and Drahmen was losing in the battle. There one thing left to do. Kill as many jedi as he could and escape.
Kross pulled out his saber and was about to charge one of the jedi's when he got a mental picture of Yavin IV. A bunch of soldiers were rushing the base trying to capture it. He had to act fast.
Kross looked around and saw that there were other Jedi watching Riko fight,he the spotted a young boy, most likely an apprentice standing there not doing anything. Kross smiled and ran at him.
The boy was young and most likely had just begun his training as a Jedi. Kross looked at him and then made a quick movement with the force grabbing him and holding him in the air, above Kross's head just within saber distance. With his hand concetrating the force on the boy,and his other hand holding his saber,Kross spoke,
Jedi! Put down your weapons,or i will kill this boy! Kross stood there awaiting knowing that the Jedi would never sacrifice there own to get to someone....

Drahmen watched as all of the jedi stopped their actions. Drahmen walked over to Kross and stood with him.

Riko, Kris and all the other Jedi were panting after the effort of the battle but now, the found themselves in a difficult position. They couldn't risk having the boy get killed. Riko especially didn't want it. Kalo was his padawan after all. Riko ordered the others
[glow=blue,2,300]Put your weapons down. They win this round.[/glow]
All the Jedi who were still armed dropped their weapons to the ground.
Not so arrogant now, are you Jedi? You seemed very much so during our battle Drahmen said.
The other Sith Lord went on to his next action.

Kross laughed as he watched the Jedi put down there weapons.
Fools. If you would have just once sacrificed one of your own,you would have beaten us. But because of your 'love' for each other, this will be the last mistake any of you make.
Kross then put away his saber, and at the same time used the force to throw the boy at the jedi. He then told Drahmen to activate Force Speed,Kross then spun around and reached behind his cloak and pulled out a thermal detonator and threw it at the jedi, not waiting around to see what becomes of the Jedi Kross and Drahmen run back to there ship and set the coordinates fro Yavin IV
OOC: Im not down with all the star wars equipment,so if the thermal detonator is suppose to create like a huge explosion, just treat is as a normal grenade okay?

OOC: Hey man no hard feelins k? I wanted to make it and build my new sabre before the planet was taken over. Well to save my integrity I'll write this instead and I hope no one gets pissed at this. Anyway if itmakes you feel better, Strider, I deleted the post Ragab saw it all from a distance. He just came out of the caves, carrying his new sabre Hussam at his side. 'Whoa,' he exclamated as he saw the damage done, 'WHOOAAA!' Ragab saw Kross throwing the detonator and flying away. Before any of the Jedi could deal with it, Ragab carried out force pull at the bomb, slicing off its fuse system and preventing the explosion. 'Sorry I didn't come earlier guys... so we goin to Yavin IV?'

Kalo stood up from the powerful force push that sent him flying into the wall. He turned to look where the sith lords had vanished to, he caught a quick glance of an sith interrigator ship flying of, he sensed kross and drahmen he knew that he had failed to help, but he quickly cleared this thought from his mind and turned to his master who had fought bravely but had been rejected by a coward, and he would have won the duel. Are you ok master?

Riko watched as the Sith Interrogator sped away into the depths of Space. Then, he turned to look at his padawans, Kalo and Ragab. Riko told Kalo:
[glow=blue,2,300]I am alright. Its been a tough battle but we managed to make them get away. Ragab, I see you have learned well from your training. You have done well at defusing the detonator. You have just saved all of us.[/glow]
Riko turned to the others.
[glow=blue,2,300]Thank you for coming to help us. Those chameleon droids would have made all the difference in this battle and they probably would have allowed the Sith to take this planet too. We have succeeded at defending Ilum and that is something to be proud of. Now, lets go home. Someone hurry to tend to Master Leen.[/glow]
With this, Riko motioned Kalo and Ragab to follow him and headed back towards their starfighters and left off to space.

Emerging from Hyperspace, the A-wing fighter approached the atmosphere of the planet. He soon received a transmission from the planet.
Greetings. I am master Kris Leen. Please identify yourself.
Riko switched the comm unit on and replied.
[glow=blue,2,300]This is master Riko Fultyre of the Jedi Order. I've come to pick up new lightsabre crystals. I'm sending you a code clearance now.[/glow]
Riko pressed a few buttons on the control pannel and waited for several minutes. Moments later, Kris Leen's voice filtered through the comm unit.
Master Fultyre! Oh great, it's good to have you back.
[glow=blue,2,300]It's been a long time, I know.[/glow]
Riko sped onwards towards the Jedi Sanctuary and landed his speeder on the landing post. The hatch opened and Riko jumped out of the fighter.Kris Leen was already there, waiting for him.
Tell me, why are you looking for a new crytal?
Riko held out Vision for Kris to take. Immediately, he could see why Riko wanted to change the sabre. Meanwhile, Riko looked around him, taking in the surroundings. So many memories of his previous visit lurked in the shadows, when the Sith attacked the planet and how he fought the now banished Darth Drahmen. Riko didn't bother to continue conversing with Kris. There was no time to waste. Riko entered the caves of Ilum, beginning his search for a new crystal.

Ragab sat at the hallway. He had just arrived from Mon Calamari where, in a duel with the Sith Lord Xanatos Dythe, he had lost his lightsabre Hussam, and he awaited till clearance would be given at the crystal caves.
Ragab wondered where Riko could be. He called him several times on his comm, barking his master's name as loud as he could. Nothing.
Ragab then shut his eyes tightly, using the Force to call Riko. His thoughts expanded to the far reaches of the Universe, then tried to center to Riko's essence. Ragab concentrated so hard his head hurt. He continued to search for his dear friend and Master, but nothing was to be found. Hopeless, Ragab opened his eyes again. He gave a sigh of quitting, then leaned back, 'hope he's okay.'
Ragab then noticed at the corner a large, dark skinned man who has been staring at him since he entered the outpost.

Ragab got up and approached the mysterious figure, 'may I help you, sir?'
'Ragab Starseer.'
'That is my name. May I help you.'
'You have arrived from Mon Calamari.'
'Yes I have. Who are you sir?'
'I understand you are still a padawan. Now you seek to replace your old companion, Hussam, your lightsabre.'
'Sir, it is true I am still a padawan, but...'
'You must really miss Rain.'
'What? How-'
'You feel a great loss. Pain also...'
'Sir, who are you?'
'Oh, sorry I have forgotten to intorduce myself. I am Jedi Master Hussam Jaberdin.'
Ragab raised his eyebrows, 'Hussam?'
'Yes, you have named your lightsabre after me. Ragab, I have known you since you were a child. I do not think you have any memory of me though.'
'I'm afraid to say I don't.'
'You were young. But I have been observing you until you finished your training. Brilliant. I even noticed you meditating on your fighting style since you were a boy.'
'Yeah, Sobek-'
'Sobek Kaa, the Way of the Lightning River. A harmonious art which helps take on the mightiest of opponents, a combination of flowing movements to detour the energy of your opponent's powerful blows along with devastating strikes of your own.'
'That just about sums it up, Master Hussam.'
'You have apparently worked hard Ragab, and you are strong in the light side. Rain's loss has not affected you as the Sith Lords hoped, hope remains alive in you and you are strong. You are still, however, an Excalibur awaiting to be sharpened.'
'What do you mean by that, Master?'

Hussam became more serious, 'walk with me, Ragab.'
'I sense this will take a while.'
'Impatience, as I expected. You Jedi Padawans, especially this generation, have this... idea that once you have finished your training you can go no further. But what you don't know, is that despite you finished your training, you have not even completed your first step in the path to complete enlightenment! In fact, such overconfidence and impatience to finish is in fact the first step to doom.'
Hussam turned to Ragab, 'you have great potential, Ragab Starseer, but you haven't tapped into it yet. You have a medechlorien count of 11000, but you perform like one who has a count of 200!! You have lived an urban life all the time, Ragab. Technology aids you, your exercise is minimal since all types of other transport are available so you barely even need to walk. Most sadly, your contact with the force is diminishing. Despite your several chances to use the force to aid you, you immediately jump yo using your lightsabre, basically a high tech sword, to get you out of trouble.'
'What do you suppose I do about it, master?'
'I shall train you. The only time you shall appreciate the Force is when you desperately need it for survival, devoid of any aid and balancing on the knife edge between life and death. Your body and mind must be strong, and then your spirit, and finally you shall establish yourself as worthy. Let the training begin.'

Ragab followed Hussam to the front gates of the outpost. As Hussam opened the door, Ragab felt a gust tof icy wind that chilled him to his bones.
'There is a mountain, one hundred and fifty kilometers north from here, Mount Ilum Karn, the tallest of the mountains here in Ilum. You will go there on foot-'
Ragab turned and glared at the Jedi Master, who continued to speak, '...alone. Take off your tunic.'
'Excuse me, Master, but the weather...'
'Is not of my concern, your shirt. I also want any survival aids you have with you, food capsules, your cloak, your boots, everything. The force is your only mode of survival, along with the pants you're wearing... and this.' Hussam gave an item to Ragab, wrapped in a cloth.
Ragab unwrapped the package to reveal a knife, not even a vibroblade, but a survival knife that had a ten inch blade.
'It loses its edge quickly, so use wisely. I will meet you at he mountain in three days.' Without another word Hussam picked up Ragab's things from the floor and walked away. Ragab than turned to the outer wilderness, gathered his courage, then left the complex, into the wilderness of Ilum...

he wandered aimlessly, the end near as his fingers numbed beneath the harsh press of an evening wind.he was here, always it had seemed, his memories fading away.wicked tattoos glew painfully, his waist-long mythril hair weaving intricate patterns along his naked lower-back.words found his lips, his breath coming in short gasps as a soft song flowed tumultously.inlaid runics carefully carved into his synthetic crimson pupils.
[glow=blue,2,300]some say the end is near......[/glow]
his reverberating voice shifted as he sang, shaking as the soothing melodic tone left his mouth subconsciously.his eyes glazed, his stalking form looking to collapse as he twitched spasmodically on the desert floor.
[glow=blue,2,300]every shadow drifts behind me,battle every step i take.....leaving every promise empty, waking like the stalking keeper.....i will only complicate you...[/glow]
with his last words,a faint black aura rises as he pulls himself to his feet zombie-like,lifeless as his arms hang limply at his sides.
[glow=red,2,300].....trust in me and fall as well.[/glow]

he moves his fingers delicately, piercing the evening wind with a gaze of bitter sweet agony.his hands roamed the tumultuous evening sky as he etched ancient runes, smiling deviantly, his almost woman-like features shining with a devilish ferocity. the runes began to smoke and a dark aura arose at his feet as he continued to speak.....even as a bit of blood made it's way to his chin from the corner of his mouth,he never broke posture.he lies his hands over the static grimoires in the shifting dust and admantite liquid hardens over closed fists as he hisses.he stands smiling through the pain as he chuckles to himself.he extends each finger and then all of them simultaneously.it had worked, his hand had been coated in liquid admantite.
".......let it all be in vain."
his lips began to move and his hair rose, fluttering off behind his slender form as would a ribbon of liquid silver.his soft lavender eyes shifted to a tainted golden.he shifts his weight back using the momentum of his rigid ebon arms to move his entire body into a backflip, fluidly landing upright.his feet leave the ground and spread in different directions, one of his firm ebon legs swinging in a half arc, breaking into the trunk of a hollow tree as it snaps beneath his hardened shin.he continues the movements thrusting his body inwards and flips, spiraling inside and landing crouched.closing his eyes,he sighs before placing a single fist before his chest and muttering words in a indescipherable tounge.
"........an alternate force."
he didn't know how he knew of the force, only concious of it subconciously.familiar, yet all too vague in his shifting mental photography.he looked ahead to what seemed an outpost and began stalking fowards, wiping dripping perspiration from a silver-brow.

From the outpost, a Wookiee Jedi named Furok Mat spotted a lonely figure heading in his direction. He wondered who it could be. It was rare to find any visitors these days. Most Jedi were waging war against the Sith and by the looks of it, it didn't seem the Jedi would hold out. Furok was worried about the outcome of the war, for he felt a great disturbance in the Force, far greater than he'd ever felt. The Sith had been defeated on Mon Calamari and for a time, it seemed the power of the Sith had been deminished. However, the Dark Side grew strong seemingly overnight. Furok felt it strongly, especially now, as if it were omnipresent, that no one could escape it. He felt it so dangerously close that he would have thought there were Sith right now, on this very planet. That was why Kris Leen, the Master of the Outpost, had told all the Jedi to stay on the lookout for any signs of trouble. Many Jedi had died horrible deaths by the hands of the Sith and particularly the Nosferatu. Furok did not want to die the same way.
Furok stretched out to the Force, trying to feel the living Force emanated by the stranger, now little less than a mile away but visible thanks to the outpost's location high up in a hill. Furok strangely found it difficult to sense the living Force of the stranger, but he could feel signs of life, a few threads of living in this one. Furok gave a sigh of relief. He wasn't a Nosferatu, but he wasn't a normal being either, apparently half-dead. There was something strange about him, or her even, given the length of the stranger's hair, floating through the air like leafs of a tree in the wind. Furok found those hair somehow attractive. He hadn't seen something so natural outside the outpost for a long time. He was glad there was someone out there. Furok only hoped it wasn't someone hostile toward them. The only way to find out was for Furok to wait for the stranger to arrive. The Wookiee wasn't sure if the stranger meant any harm. If he did, he would be ready. After all, he was curious to see who this strange visitor was.
